Just bought the theme and tried to upload it (.zip file) via wordpress installer but it failed giving this error - “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.” Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi,
Make sure to install just the theme files alone, not the entire download with the documentation, etc. You’ll get that error if the wrong theme folder was installed.

I have been seriously thinking about purchasing this theme, but I’ve noticed some issues when you try and view the theme on a mobile device – responsive theme isn’t working. I tried viewing it on my iPhone, and it is distorted, and you can’t see some of the items on some of the pages. If you click on ‘Template Services’ and scroll down and click on any of the services, you can not see the text at all… This is a very Big issue for me, as a majority of clients find us online… Please advise. Can this be fixed???

Yea, it’s possible with a little extra customization. Setup a ticket from my profile account email and I can point you in the right direction. Heading out on vacation tomorrow morning, so it may be a week or so. You can always try elance.com or themeforest forums to get some quick help with this.

It’s possible with some customization. It should support that plugin, but adding the flags shouldn’t be too difficult. You can setup a ticket at siiimple.ticksy.com

Hi Justin,
I am trying to install the theme and continue getting the error message – The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
I did an uninstall of the database, reinstalled it and zipped the Upload-These-Files folder again and received the same message. I see that the stylesheet is in there so I’m a little confused. Thanks for your help!

I was able to get my theme installed doing so manually. I was reading through the comments and saw that you may already have a page created that doesn’t include the large header and feature image on the right. Could I possibly get the file for this page template? Thanks!

Sorry for all the posts, love the theme, am in the process of a build with it. I’m struggling on figuring out how to direct the site to the 503 under construction page. Have the 503 page template live and have date and time set in theme options. Haven’t been able to quite figure out, though, how to have that re-direct. Have tried the .htaccess route but my experience is very limited and I’m just not sure what I’m doing. Is there something quick and easy I’m missing?
