Yes and no – the blog posts and some other stuff will transfer, but we totally overhauled this theme from the ground up, so there’s likely going to be some changes that you need to make

Hi i’m having issues with my custom menu appearing on mobile as well as my responsive menu so there is a double up of menu’s on mobile. Is there a way to have the custom menu appear only on desktop version?

Short answer: Yep, it should work if you have 2 menu spaces… assign one to the Primary space, and one to the Responsive space. Then flush any browser caches and re-try.

Very sorry if you have already posted a comment about this question but there are a LOT of comments to sift through!
We’re trying to use posts to play videos in the lightbox (with JW Player). It seems only post images are capable of being seen in the lightbox…
Is there a way to get around this with galleries, if so, where do I access the galleries as there isn’t a menu option for them or portfolios in the admin dashboard of our WP site.
Could you pretty please point me in the right direction?!!

In short though, you can launch video in the lightbox by placing your YouTube, Vimeo, or .MOV URL in the post’s “Custom Lightbox URL ” Field under the Skeleton Post options.
You can also manually add your link to the lightboxed video using the standard prettyPhoto documentation: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/

Is it possible to use multiple images per post instead of only the Featured Image?

-more-> tags to show the remaining post text or images. Is there a function, script, plugin, or any adjustment we can make ourselves to do this with this theme?Example: 1 post has 3 images

Brandon…. One more thing! My page is somehow screwed up after the option-tree update. If you see the top links to the left and click on one as the page scrolls down it is shifted to the left! I don’t know how to fix that!

Love your work. Already have one of your other themes. Aside from the included skins, what colors/highlights can be modified out of the box? I am still learning CSS …

Pretty much everything to be honest – we have a custom skin builder that lets you set the color/bg-image of nearly every major element of the layout (top hat, header, body, footer, sub-footer, link colors, etc.)
There’s also a “Custom CSS ” inserter that will let you add your own custom styles without messing with the core theme… which is a great way to learn without risking breaking anything!

After many problems with Shapeshifter 1 you were nice enough to provide me a free update to Shapeshifter 2, however since it was a direct transfer I’m not able to download any updates and I’ve noticed there have been quite a few, as I’m still on version 1.3.0. Would there be any possibility of these updates being accessible to me or would you prefer if I buy the license to receive these updates?

I am having all kind of trouble with this theme. I installed and imported the dummy content however i cannot see any content of even the menu to test out. I tried changing the background image and creating a new CCS skin but thats not showing up either. What am i missing? I am using the latest version of worpdress and not additional plugins.

I’m looking to launch a new video business in the next month or so and I bought Shapeshifter 2 on the basis of its versatility and responsiveness. Great theme and lots to consider in the way of customization. I’d really be interested to see if anyone has links to their own sites using this theme, especially those who have set it up differently from the demo, just to see what the various possibilities are. Hello, after installing the theme the Screen Options tab, Help tab and Add Media button seem to be disabled on page and post editing pages. Was this intentional? Can you provide any information on this?

I added a custom social icon in the form of a email button where users can send an email directly. It always opens a new page.

How can I stop it from opening a new page all the time.

Hello. I just bought this theme, but i have an issue. When i scroll down the page, the sidebar doesn’t scroll down also. It is always on the same spot. But the content, it scrolls down. If i want to add more pages to the left menu, the pages will be hidden. My site: www.agro-servicos.com NOTE: if i press CTRL- and CTRL+, the sidebar scroll’s down like it should. How can i solve this problem? In advance, i am not an english native

That’s how the sidebar is supposed to work… from the demo text: If the sidebar size exceeds the browser windows height, it will scroll with the other content, otherwise it will stay fixed at the left.

I’ve just bought this template and it doesn’t work properly on safari?
The bottom black bar & side nav moves up with the page instead of being anchored in place, a few second after you stop scrolling they appear back in place. Is there a fix for this please? I haven’t changed anything with the template yet. I have just downloaded it and opened the index file in a couple of different browsers.

Read the FAQ and disable all plugins and all that stuff just to be safe though – we have no other reports of Safari issues, so usually when hiccups like this happens, it’s a plugin conflict or you need to re-download and re-install the theme.
