Hey – wonderful theme, simple and clean. I feel dumb for asking this, because it has to be stupid easy, but I can’t seem to figure out how to upload an avatar. When I look at my WP author profile, I don’t see an option to upload an avatar. Also, how do commentors get an avatar?

Upload your avatar there and wordpress will recognize the email address you’re using and pull the image.

But dude, this theme is not valendesigns idea, this theme is a very good copy from creattica daily, so price can be little bit lower. $20 could be very good price :)

Yes, the theme in which Collis and I build for Creattica Daily was the inspiration for this one. However, that theme will be changing in the near future. However, raising the price or lowering it would not be fair to the people who will buy it or the people that did already buy it. Also, I have no control over the price of the theme.

You should email Tony at talkgamer.com since he used this theme and has already done what you are trying to do. I have not tried adding something like that to this theme and it’s not super difficult but for someone with limited knowledge of CSS or WP it would be pretty tough.

Question for you, I can’t get the images to show up in the posts on the home page. Is there anything wrong with the following line?

Any reason why it can’t find the images in the post?

Because you have to set them as custom fields.

I’ve just noticed that the footer is missing the <?php wp_footer(); ?> snippet, which means that any plugin which automatically adds stuff to your footer doesn’t work.

Easy fix though :)

You need to look into how to use the custom fields in WordPress. It’s not really a theme specific feature. Almost every modern WP blog or portfolio uses custom fields to some extent. Do a Google search, I’m sure it will yeild the results you’re looking for.
