Hi

I think there is a bug in the uploader. When trying to upload a background image the uploader box is right at the bottom of the page (I didn’t know it was there until I scrolled when nothing had happened. Unfortunately it is half off screen so only part of it is visible and it can’t be dragged into view.

While I was able to drop a file on there there was no way to click the submit button as it’s off screen.

Grabbing the url from the media library and pasting it in didn’t work either.

Just discovered another prob. The zoom magnification is all messed up. Could this be because I updated the Yith woocommerce plugins? Using the dummy content, the menu is fine in IE but in Firefox the Contact tab ends up on the next line (doesn’t do this on the demo here).

In IE the on sale corner images look cropped (not corner triangles)

Visual Composer asks for a License Key for auto updates- obviously not the License from the theme. But clearly any updates will be given with the theme updates, so how do I therefore stop VC from asking for one?

Hi,

first you create a sidebar under appearance/sidebars, then you go in appearance/widgets and insert into created sidebar for example woocommerce random products widget, and then you go on the product and in the bottom you will see sidebars and right option there you choose the sidebar you set up.

Do you think you can have up to date dummy content because the existing one only shows 3 home pages, and it does not enable one to get the layouts like you have on your current demo site?

Layer Slider is out of date so I tried to use my own copy to have an updated version. Wouldn’t allow it and gave a lot of function array errors and trashed the site. I had to reinstall your older version.

This is going to be a problem if plugins are tied to the version you integrated because when it shows there is an update a client WILL attempt to update and they’ll wreck the site.

I tried to download fresh copies of the Yith Woocomerce plugins from the Wordpress depository in case yours had got corrupted. WP will happily delete every plugin on the site except those Woocommerce plugins tied to your theme. It throws a script error so I had to delete via FTP.

Yours is the ONLY theme that has ever behaved like this. Perhaps you need to check your script code because there is something misbehaving there..

Edited to say: The demo on here is version 1.0.3 according to the style sheet. The version that you are selling is version 1.0.9 It’s also using Woocommerce 2.0.20 and everything appears to be working flawlessy.

Don’t you think you should have the same versions on here as you are selling? :-(

Mmm, that’s not going to happen. It’s a reseller account with many sites on there – a lot with Themeforests themes too. NONE have problems but yours so there will be no changes happening with FTP just to make your theme work. Sorry.

Okay, I’ve spent most of the day trying to fix things. There are only 3 remaining problems now.

1) The corner Sale image is still way over to the right on the single product page (all browsers).

2) Background will not upload a tiled image (however it appeared to be on the footer of the shop page at one point!)

3) Sales image is still not rendering as a corner image in IE 9 (ie IE8)

(The zoom got fixed (apparently reverting to woocommerce 2.0.20 then upgrading again to 2.1 seemed to solve it!)

I’ve just discovered another problem in IE 8 – the problem shows on your demo too. The login and cart details in the header are all messed up. If you click any add to cart button there is no indication that anything has been added. If you go to another page the amount then appears in the header BUT going to view cart or checkout is almost impossible as it disappears once the mouse is over it. Check it out, as I said it happens on your demo too.

There are still an awful lot of people on XP or Vista and this shop should be compatible with IE8. As anyone using that browser will find it almost impossible to order anything from the shop I think this needs to be fixed urgently.

(I think the only alternate would be to make sure that people have some other means than the header for any IE users to get to checkout. Perhaps a widget, or shop pages on the nav bar)

Well I was prepared to do that except it’s now a week since I contacted you via email, and I haven’t heard anything. That’s not ‘Support’. It’s now the weekend again so you get to have time off while I have to spend it trying to fix this poorly coded mess.

I’ve fixed most of the probs that were a concern (i hard coded the background image via CSS but aside from the sales tag still being way off to the right I’ve discovered a number of things in the backend don’t actually work.

1) Sticky menu has no effect. (it doesn’t work on your demo either unless you have it switched off, which I doubt)

2) The One Column layout for the footer doesn’t put a widget in so you can’t have one column. I could live with 2 columns but others might find that a problem.

3) The Disable Responsive has no effect. Why would I want to disable responsive? Well I just discovered that while things look very nice in 800px portrait mode on a tablet, in landscape 1280px it is still in that mode and looks frankly ridiculous. 1280px is plenty big enough to show the full site but ‘requesting it’ has no effect. Unless I find out how to turn it of for 1280px screens then I opted to turn it off altogether. Surprise, that didn’t work either.

(I also don’t know why you opted to have the drop down nav menu scroll after 5 links – many people will not know they need to scroll to view all the menu as they are usually fully listed. This is lazy coding guys!)

4) Newsletter widget doesn’t show in IE8. The text shows, but not the input buttons. That plugin has just updated.

5) Header cart/login still messed up in IE8

6) Woocommerce cart widget doesn’t render correctly in sidebars.

7) ‘Create an account’ option on the checkout template doesn’t show at all in latest Firefox (other browsers ok)

8 ) Woocommerce has updated again to 2.1.3 and your templates are out of date. Whether this has anything to do with 6) above, I do not know. I disabled all plugins and it is not a plugin issue.

The Product attributes file is also on v2.08 so that needs to updated too.

You need to get these problems fixed anps, otherwise it isn’t fit for purpose and shouldn’t be on sale. The majority of buyers don’t actually use a theme for a long time after purchasing (I have many I’ve never used yet) so unless you fix these problems they aren’t going to be happy when they do come to use it.

I suggest you have the latest version of the theme with v2.13 of woocommerce on your demo site otherwise it’s just deceptive. That old version you use to sell this, appears to work. This one is extremely buggy and has many problems with woocommerce v2.1.2/3.

PLEASE get this fixed asap. If I hadn’t spent so much time on it I’d ask for my money back and that is the first time I’ve ever considered that for a Themeforest theme. This was not ready for release yet, IMO.

I thought the prob of the Recently Viewed not appearing in sidebars other than the shop page in IE was a prob of the new update – it’s not, it’s on the previous version too (I’m working on that one on the live site)
