Hello, I like this theme but I want to use it with my Arabic/English site, but I have few questions: 1. Does it support Arabic characters? 2. Will it become from right to left if I select Arabic, and left to right if I select English? 3. Is it a multilingual theme? Is it easy to translate it to Arabic? 4. Does it support multistore? 5. Can I make home page 2 or three columns style? Thanks
1) Shoppica supports Arabic characters, however some of the custom fonts don’t. All default fonts and the demo one work with Arabic seamlessly.
2) There is an option from the theme control panel to change the direction of your language. Just one click and nothing else.
3) Yes, Shoppica has a separate language file for all custom theme related text. It won’t take you more than half an hour to translate it.
4) Yes, Shoppica is multistore ready
5) Unfortunately, Shoppica can have only 2 columns most. Your Home page can have either a single column or two columns.
Where I can control number of columns in admin demo? I couldn’t find it in demo?
You can’t control the columns in the demo. Generally, Shoppica uses the default OpenCart module system, where you can define which module, where to go.
E.g. you can insert Latest products module in the content area and bestseller in the sidebar. This is how the page becomes 2 column. If you insert modules only in the content area tha page will stay single column.
do you have features to i link with e-payment system provider??
Unfortunately, we have never heard of this payment provider. Can you bring some more info?
I purchased the item, but i cannot locate the purchase code.
It is not where your video manual shows.
The license certificate (that is where the purchase code is) is under the download button in Your TF account > Downloads.
Well it is not there. I wish i could add a screenshot here to show it. There is no license certificate links, only “Regular License” link. Any help?
I did follow your “How to get your purchase code” manual too.
Please check this screenshot: http://share.pho.to/2ZowE/original
I am trying to block main categories from opening when clicked on them on the front page. SO thay only show the list of subcategories on hover, and so user can only open subcategories. How do I do that, please?
Thank you for purchasing Shoppica first!
We want to note, however, that theme support is provided only from our support forum. You will need to register with your ThemeForest username and use the purchase code from your license certificate for confirmation.

If I have search autofill extension is it possible to integrate it to shoppica theme?
Should be possible, but it may need some additional work. Can we take a look at the extensions?
Shouldn’t be a problem to be integrated.
Unfortunately this extension is payed and we can’t test it, so if you want to be 100% sure everything will go smoothly, it is best to ask the developer as well.
Can I sned you the extension to see how it can be added?
Also the top menu on my site, I want to show subcategories in one coloumn and not two how I can do this?
Thank you for purchasing Shoppica!
I have Shoppica Version 2.2.1 and Open Cart 1.5.4 and my twitter feed does not appear in the footer. I am also having issues with Slider Settings not working correctly. I am unsure why the slider will not slide but displays random fading and transition that cannot be changed in the dashboard.
Is this a compatibility issue? I thought the twitter bug was fixed in 2.2.1?
Twitter retired their old API a few days ago. That is why the current code doesn’t work. We are working on a patch which will be released ASAP. We will also create an announcement, once it is ready.
For all other problems, please visit our support forums.
I have upgraded my Shoppica and Open Cart Versions to the most recent versions and the Twitter feed is still not working. When is the patch going to be released?
The patch has been released more than a month ago You can find it here:
But the latest version has this patch included.
If you still experience any problems, open a topic in the support forums so we can assist you.
Hi! I too have Shoppica Version 2.2.1 and Open Cart Version 184.108.40.206 and my twitter and facebooks feeds does not appear in the footer about 7 days ago (www.stdmarket.ru)
Is this a compatibility issue? How i can fix?
I want to buy this theme. I am located in India and I do not have a PayPal account. I don’t have credit card either.
What i have is a debit card. But problem is it is not accepting my debit card (Any debit card for that matter).
How i should buy this theme?
Other query is we want to put our mobile number at the top of this theme? is it possible for us to do it?
Unfortunately, we can’t help you with the purchase options, as we do not deal with sales, but only with the support of our items. You should try to contact the Envato support staff at: http://support.envato.com/
About the mobile number on the top of the theme, there is built-in option to put it there, but we can help you to do this.
Is there an Arabic language in this template?
Do I need a template to translate?
The size of the template file?
Are after local load the template is give me the amount or it takes a long time?
Although Shoppica is fully localized and supports RTL languages (Arabic included), there is no built-in translation. Fortunately, this is an easy task that could be done in no more than 20 minutes.
The template size is about 7 MB
We are not very sure, we’ve got your last question.
The Twitter module is appending an extra period (.) to the end of every tweet which is causing broken links:
Also, some of the Tweets are showing highlighting in red.
Is there a fix for this?
We have reuploaded the twitter patch files. You can check the topic here:
I’m considering buying this theme and wondered if you could answer a few queries first. I am currently working with Prestashop but am thinking of switching to Opencart so I’m not up to speed with how Opencart works yet so apologies for any ‘daft’ questions.
1. How much modification can be made to the header section? For example can I enlarge the logo easily? Can I alter the positions of things?
2. In the documentation it says- “When adding modules to the sidebar (Bestsellers, Latest, Featured, Specials, etc.) you must always choose Content Right as their position or they won’t appear in the store front.” Does this mean the sidebar position has to be at the right of the screen in order to use these features? I had always envisaged my site having this located on the left.
3. Is it possible to modify the height of the product slideshow or is it a fixed size?
4. Finally is it reasonably easy to locate the html, css code to make my own modifications? In other words if I use firebug to find where the code should be will I easily be able to find the page of code to change? I know this sounds silly but with my current prestashop theme it is impossible to locate the page even when firebug tells you the details down to the line of where it should be on the index.php!!
1) There is no limitations to the logo size. It depends on the image size you upload and fits automatically in the header. About the other positions, you are talking about, there is an option to make the search input field visible by default, or make it show on click. You can also move the cart menu from the main navigation to the header area.
2) No, you can put move your sidebar to the left if you want. This is an option from the theme control panel.
3) The product slideshow has 3 predefined sizes, which unfortunately you cannot modify. Hope, they can fit your requirements.
4) Templating in OpenCart is pretty simple. Generally, each page has its own template and you can easily modify any markup. We can also assist you to find any part of the website
I noticed there are no image dimensions specified for most things, particularly the slide images.
Has this been fixed in later versions? I am using an older version.
If not, do you plan to add a way to specify image dimensions?
Unfortunately, this is rather an OpenCart miss, than a theme related one. Generally, it is possible to add dimensions everywhere, but this will result in more core modifications, that we do not want.
Im using shoppica themes on my OC version 220.127.116.11 , after i’m enable SEO URL featured, my site goin dead slow, it tooks 12 second to load my homepage ! (Sometimes its show error : reached entry process limit)
I’ve been searching and try to resolve this problem for a week, include install additional extension and contact my hosting server support but nothing work. And today, i’m curious this is about themes issue so i change my themes into default. The result is my site run blazing fast even SEO URL featured is enable !
I wanted to know if this is an issue of shoppica themes ? Can you fix this things up ? My site : Netoneshop.com (but right now i’m didnt enable SEO URL featured so its running normally). I have 600 product and 350 category.
I can provide you with ftp access so you can check this by yourself.
Waiting for your reply. Thanks before.
We have answered you in your topic.
Hello, I like the options for this theme, one question though can I display my categories on the homepage in the middle of the homepage using icons 3 or 4 across easily? Thanks for your information.
Unfortunately, you will have to use some third party extension to get the job done. The built-in Category module shows a text category list only.
Can I move the menu from top to the left ?
Generally you can do this customization, but it will require modification of some theme files.
You can insert a category list module in the sidebar (left or right), but it won’t have flyout menus. You can check this page (right sidebar) to see what we mean: http://shoppica2.com/desktops
i bought Shoppica 2 for use in multistore Opencart (i had to do my personal changes). Everything is working correctly until I switch on the SEO URL rewrite. After that the shop which is not using Shoppica is working correctly, but that one using Shoppica gives “Warning” page after I hit any seo link. If I click a link which is not rewrited it works normally.
Can you please tell me, why is Shoppica doing anything with SEO (as there is common function seo_url of OpenCart) and what function is that, so I can kill it?
Hello, i have uploaded and saved a theme background in the Shoppica 2 module/Design/Background section, but it doesn’t show on the website. The image does show in the admin but not on the website front. Using OC 18.104.22.168.
In your manual says i must use the color schemer widget on the website front, but that doesn’t make sense to me. Luckily, there is no color schemer on my website front because i don’t want visitors to see that widget. But i do want to display my own background. How?
//Edit// Ah, it is working now. I had to go to another tab Colors, launch a color schemer (which first didn’t work due to my temporary index.html under construction page) and then choose the background. Very strange to have to choose the background from a front end web widget while i uploaded in the CMS already! But it works
Is it compatible with opencart 22.214.171.124 ?
I want to purchase it, but i am afraid it will not compatible with the version..
Thanks and Regards
We have a legacy version of Shoppica that is compatible with this version of OC. Unfortunately, it is really old and don’t have much of the features (not responsive, no multishop compatibility, no custom fonts, slower), the latest theme version offers. We also do not support it anymore.
If you are sill interested, we can send it to you, once you purchase the theme.
i have a posted a problem in your forum http://support.themeburn.com/topic/undefined-index-verification_code
Please take a look at it and reply me as soon as possible.
How to replace ‘Information’ in the main menu with ‘Informatie’? That menu titel isn’t translated.
In the first column of the footer the ‘Information’ title is translated into ‘Informatie’ so in that place it does work.
Thanks in advance.
