Using OpenCart Having trouble getting theme to appear. I uploaded the files to be located in the path ‘catolog/view/theme/’, then selecting shoppica under System » Settings » Edit » Store » Save in the back office, and when refreshing the store, only the default theme appears.
What am I missing? Are there step by step 1, 2, 3 instructions that actually work for this specific theme?

To bring all the features that Shoppica offers, we had to transform the default OpenCart markup (this is true for every premium opencart theme on the market). The administration however is not touched at all (this means 100% compatability for all of the backend plugins) and you will only have to align the frontend if needed. Besides this, many extension developers offer support for Shoppica.
We have also a dedicated forum to provide support for our themes and extensions. You will need to register with your ThemeForest username and use the purchase code from your license certificate for confirmation.
For refund, you will have to contact Envato support.

Good day, i have some problem after installing shoppica theme. I used clear opencart v1.5.4.1 and install shoppica and russian localization. Can usay is shoppica used any files except global.lang.php and theme.lang.php to store variables in English? And second problem – in product reviews and contact page captcha is not visible, it looks like a deleted image and if i click them i see message that captcha cannot be shown because it contains errors. Thanks for any advices and sorry for my poor English)

sorry for second problem, it’s my false. I replaced global.lang.php and theme.lang.php from shoppica archive and captcha returns to my site) I’ll try to translate this files into russian and save them into UTF-8 without BOM signature encoding.

You can check the html version of Shoppica, or the WordPress one. There is an option to change layouts there. The feature is the same in the Shoppica for OpenCart.

Hello, still haven’t received email for password reset. My issue is that the I now only see the string “???\?” whenever I view my store or go into the Shoppica admin module. I wasn’t editing any files at the time it went wrong, I believe it was during an image upload. The tags on both the store home page and the admin module just have the string “???\?” in them, nothing else. I tried replacing the shoppica files with a copy of the original download, but this did not fix it. Maybe the database is corrupt?
Is it easy to upgrade the themes when you release a new version?

Everything depends on the level of customizations you want to make.
If you only change styles, we provide a panel, where you can insert custom ones, without touching theme files. This means that on update, you will only have to upload the new files.
If you want to modify some templates, then the process of update will be the same as for all other themes: compare changed files, transfer changes, upload files.

Yes, OpenCart supports digital downloads by default, but maybe it is not the perfect implementation. We will recommend that you first try the cart to see, if it will suit your needs
