Yes you can, open header.php file and delete this line, its in the line 21

THANK YOU VERY MUCH – saved me hours and hours of time – One last thing – The site still adjusts slightly in width (it appears slightly narrower on my iphone than it does on regular monitors) – would this be solved by removing the media queries in the CSS file or something else?

Here’s what i mean – When normal the store shows like so… (which is how i like it)

Hi Limite_ed,

Looks like you were removing all media query style inside main.css. Please do not remove that style, because it needed for PC with widescreen monitor. If you want to show mobile site same as desktop site, just delete the viewport i mentioned last week.

I have noticed there are no links to social networks e.g. facebook on your template. I am not referring to like buttons, but instead a link to my facebook page itself, e.g. facebook.com/my_page_name_here

After I click “add to cart”, it says “product successfully added to cart”, but when I click view cart, nothing happens and I am not redirected to the shopping cart (this is the mistake I want to correct). However, when I click the “your cart” drop down, I can see that the product was in effect actually added.

The theme is nice. Before I buy it, I wonder if I can disable the shopping cart while keep the product page. As I’m not going to make it as an online store but would like the ways to show my products. Thanks!

Hi kopanda,

This theme didn’t have the ability to do it in the Settings. You might need to customize the code by yourself.

Since the e-commerce ability (Shopping Cart, product page etc.) came from the plugin (WooCommerce) not from the theme, you might want to consider to ask recommendation from the plugin developer too regarding your request here.

Hi Chris,

To remove the zoom feature, please open woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php.

Go to line 14 and remove the image-zoom class. Or you can try to remove the div container as well.

For the “white space between two menus”, could you give us some screenshots and your live URL? Just to make sure we do not misunderstood your meaning.

Hmm seems any changes I make to my files make zero change, as if they aren’t even connected, when I inspect image on google chrome, the code comes up as unedited, but on the php file its as I saved it…

Hi Chris,

Please open your content.php file.

First, go to line 26 and find this script:
<?php if(is_single()) the_content(); else the_excerpt(); ?>
replace it with:
<?php the_content(); ?>
then go to line 31-33 and remove/comment this script:
<?php if( !is_single() ) { ?>
       <a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" class="more-link"><?php _e('Continue reading', 'nesia'); ?></a>
<?php } ?>
If you have other Post Format rather than Standard only in your Blog, you need to change it as well in these files:
  • content-audio.php
  • content-gallery.php
  • content-image.php
  • content-video.php

Hi,

I don’t have an account for that support forum it seems.

I have a new problem. It might be a problem with woocommerce but I just wanna make sure its not a theme issue. When I have attributes on an item, a t-shirt for example, I lose the buy button… even after configuring all attributes and variations to the right price.

Any help?

To register on the Support Forum http://support.nesia.me you just need the License Certificate / Item Purchase Code.

To make sure if it’s the plugin or the theme issue, just switch your theme temporarily to the WordPress default theme (i.e. Twenty Twelve). If the problem still exists, then it may came from the plugin or your settings. But if it’s running well on the default theme, just report this matter to us. We’ll check it for you :)

And yes, if you’d like to send us some account info, you can do it in the Support Forum.

After you registered, you can send your credential info via Conversation feature in this Forum. Just click ‘Inbox’ menu on the Top Menu (http://awesomescreenshot.com/04a12ayhb6) Then click ‘Start New Conversation’ button in the ‘Conversations/Inbox’ page (http://awesomescreenshot.com/0bc12ayn46)

Hey, For the problem before it went fine without doing anything…

Now, I would like to know if it’s possible to download for my header my logo instead of just writing it. I try to precise : On the preview page, the title is ” SHOPPINGGO” in black (or white). I would like to put that away and download my own logo. How can i do that ? Thanks for your answer.

To upload a custom logo, just go to your WP-Admin > Shoppinggo > Theme Options > Style Settings > Logo Settings.

Does your theme supports the currency converter widget?

If a product is sold out, could I add a “Subscribe” function just for this product? The potential buyer can input his/her email, when this product can sell again, the potential buyer will receive an email notification that the product he subscribe is available again?

Where is the customer “Register” ?

I didn’t found the customer register on your demo website?

How does a customer register on your shop site before he/she buy a product?

I just found a very simple wordpress default login page on your demo site.

Does you theme support customer register?

The “Customer Register” by WooCommerce is in fact using the default WordPress registration page.

So the customer = WP user at your site.

To re-phrase your question, the customer/user registration is handled by default WP (and the WooCommerce plugin), not by the theme.

When I click the “login” which is on the top right of the home page, I got a wordpress login page. Is this a bug?

If I don’t want to use the wordpress default login page as the front site customer login page, could you provide a customer login page to match your theme?

I feel if you use wordpress default login page as the customer front site login page will make the customer feel the shop is not professional, and website development is no finished.

No, it’s not a bug.

Like our previous comment, the customer/user registration is actually using the WordPress user registration, so it could be redirected from there.

The theme doesn’t have a User Login page template.

But WooCommerce has actually provided one. You can check it at this page: http://demo.nesia.me/wp/shoppinggo/my-account/

If by any chance, it doesn’t suit your needs, you can customize it by yourself.

This My Account page template came from the WooCommerce plugin, not from the theme.

The “sort by” dropdown list can not be shown successfully when I use Chrome and firefox.

Only half of the dropdown lsit can be shown. Could you check and fix this?

It seems that this issue appears only on Windows-based browser only. The dropdown appears normal on Mac-based browser.

However, we have fixed this problem now. And it’ll be included in the next release of Shoppinggo (about mid to end August 2013).

If you bought Shoppinggo now, and you need this to be fixed on your site, we could give you a quick fix. Just post a request on our Support Forum http://support.nesia.me

Note: the demo might still appears to show this issue, since it won’t be updated until we release the next version.

I like your store. I am looking for a store like this: http://www.tadashop.com/ It’s a store list instead of a cart….clicking buy it now opens a window of a third party store ( affiliate) without leaving the site. Could I create something like it with our store?

The e-commerce features in our theme came from the WooCommerce plugin, not from the theme itself.

We’re not sure if your request could be handled by the plugin.

But just to be sure, you can read the WooCommerce documentation or even ask in their Support Forum whether they can fulfill your needs or not.

When users are on Iphone they go to click the shopping cart widget and it drops down but when they click Checkout it disapears – is this an issue with the theme or with wp-ecommerce?

Hello, Pre-sale question : I clicked on “LOGIN” and was redirected to a wordpress page. Is it possible for the users to be directed to a custom page which has “REGISTER” and “LOGIN” in it like other websites?

If you are using WooCommerce with Shoppinggo, then you’ll get a page template called My Account from WooCommerce.

This page contain Login and Registration field like you mentioned above. It can be seen on our demo page here: http://demo.nesia.me/wp/shoppinggo/my-account/

Note: for some reason, we decided to disable the user registration on our demo, so you won’t see the registration field.
