I like this theme and really am looking at getting it. A couple of questions.
1. Is there a blog aspect to the theme? If so, can you show that in your preview?
2. How hard would it be to add a pricing table or other pages on the page (with sidebar, etc). I am thinking so people can watch my twitter feed, etc.

Hey mate,
1) As of now, no. not yet.
2) The pages can have pretty much any content that you wish. Plugins and etc. The only thing that might not work properly is if you have something that loads via AJAX (javascript stuff).
Other than that you can pretty much chuck anything in there!

one other thing I noticed is this theme is not very compatable with iPhone/pad. will that be fixed?
It looks fine on the iPad here.
For the iPhone the screen is too small to do anything in particular with the theme. It is suggested to use another theme as a fallback for mobile versions.
There should be some improvements on that from next week.

oh my god this is amazing. love it. curious too about blog posts.. hope i get a client that wants to use this!
This is a sexy theme and one that is not for blogging. However, I have a few questions/concerns.
First, I can see that you can link the indexed images to a text page, (hence your potential blog, if assigned to a category available in the sidebar), however the down arrow bottom below the page box is somewhat confusing because one may consider it a scroll down feature to read more text – but you actually need to use your arrows keys or mouse to continue reading the text as with a flash website. This is potentially confusing and readers may find your site difficult to navigate.
Also is there a limit on how much content one can display for pages – I’m assuming the content can be a regular page or post.
And, if possible can the content pages show some sort of scrolling up and down feature (bar) that is easily distinquished from the main down arrow feature for the home page. The current scroll bar is almost invisiable.
Other than that, this is an awesome theme.

Answering your questionsL
1) You can have as much content as you want.
2) The scroll bar can be easily customised via css. width, colours and so forth.
3) The blog feature is not a part of the theme as of now. You can link it to pages and so forth but the possibility of posts and comments is not available. not yet.
Speaking of the Blog;
The theme is mainly a showcase theme, hence its name. However a blog feature is being planned for the theme. The blog would be like a normal page (open from the sides). However, you will be able to open blog posts through the initial items, linking it to the blog post (like right now, with the exception that right now you can only link normal pages.).
I would like to release this blog feature within the week tops.

Just purchased this theme and it won’t let me install?? I am installing it as a .zip file, correct? Wordpress is telling me “are you sure you want to do that?” (I’ve never seen that before!) then it says “try again” please advise

No I don’t! this is the error I get “The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/studi205/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2011/12. What should I be doing differently?
Permission settings on your server!
Upload the showcase folder to your wp-content/themes/ folder via FTP
