i like your work, but i’ll admit i’m not one for that level of uber uber minimalism, and would really want to dress it up a lot if i were to use a template like this….
i’d want to put in a custom background image, i’d want to be able to use child pages (have you thought of a way of making parent/child pages work with this?) and i’d want to use some sort of custom font for the menu / headers…. could i easily install cufon or font-face to customize the header & menu fonts?

Howdy,
1. Custom background image: you can add one via CSS , very simple change.
2. Child pages are displayed indented in the vertical menu(s).
3. The theme already uses a custom font (Merriweather) via Google webfonts – http://www.google.com/webfonts/ – you could replace this with your own choice of font or use a Cufon plugin should you wish.

Hi, there isn’t no, but, it would only take a few tweaks which we can help you out with in the support forum should you need it.
Hi there – does this theme include auto-resizing for the images?
Yes and no. For the thumbnails the theme will crop an image you supply OR just display the pre-cropped image you specify. The main images in the portfolio will need to be 600px in width before you upload but can be any height.
This theme is excellent! As any theme by Orman, it is super easy to set up, comes with an easy-to-use shortcode generator, and can easily be customized. A+++
