Thanks for this template I use it on www.vincentbousserez.com, it’s pretty nice and I’ve done some modifications to adapt it on what we want. My main suggestion is to implement Supersized on the home page to display image with 7 different fade effect
Now my questions is about the menu, we haven’t modify it but it’s appearing some bug when we come to the home page, the menu is not dropping when we come on the page, we need to click on Hide/Show to display it, also when we click on Hide/Show the second drop menu is directly showing and cause issue for the navigation, do you have an idea on how to solve this two bugs?

The fact that its only happening on the page where you have supersize suggests it might be a conflict with the Supersize plugin.

I am having a problem with the div class=”half” and “half end” for columns. If I apply the code below, the black background of this div doesn’t show up past “about me”, it just cuts off. If I remove the column tags, it works fine. But I want the picture to show up alongside the text, not beneath it. Do you see what could be causing the error with the background? (I mean the background of this content, not the whole page.)

Try adding
class="clearfix"to the article element.Great Template! I am experiencing only one small issue. For some reason I can not get the search form working in the top bar. Any help would be appreciated? Thanks

It’s a HTML template. If you want the search bar to function you will need to find a script to do it.

Is there any way to lock the navigation menu on the left side without it hovering over everything as your scroll left and right?
I imagine it is possible through editing the CSS but I cannot give you the exact code to do it.
Hey, Every time I try to swap out the Prettyphoto lightbox, with the standard lightbox,(Lightbox2) the layout goes all crazy. Is the entitre site linked heavily with Prettyphoto?
Partly. Because of the layout the theme uses a customized version of the lightbox plugin. Swapping the lightbox should not break the layout but when you try to open an image in the lightbox it probably will not be centered on the screen.
Ah, sweet. Got everything up and rolling. Last question. On the grid portfolio template, how can I increase the boxes from columns of four to columns of five?

Change the width of the boxes in the stylesheet and change the thumbnail size to that same width so the images fit in the boxes but I would not advise it.
Hi E, awesome design man! If I wanted to at a 10px X 10px image to the footer ie “Company name (logo)” it automatically drops the image down to the next line instead of flowing with the text. How can I fix this?

Great theme! I only have one question..
On the gallery page, my images are multiple sizes and I don’t want to crop any of the image out to make it the thumbnail size..is there any any to make it so that I wont have a black square behind my images on gallery.

Only the gallery template can hold portrait images. The images have to be cropped on all other horizontal layouts which is why I recommend using landscape images for feature images.
Just to make sure I’m utilizing this template to its fullest and most efficient, what is the best way to add a new photo to the gallery view?
Do I need a separate image file resource for both the thumbnail and full-size?
You upload the largest size of the image you will need and WordPress will generate the other required preview images, etc from that one image.

I’m trying to figure out what I need to do to get my own photos to appear.
Do I need to size multiple version for a thumbnail and full size and upload them or is that done automatically? What needs to be changed in the template script?
You have to size the images yourself. The version you have is just HTML template so there is absolute now automation at all. You have to add all images and content.
I suppose then that is my question… which part of the template needs to be modified to include my content? What is the code drawing from for the image source—prettyPhoto_h.css?

Hello! I love your template! I am just having a problem getting the initial “backstretch” background to show up in IE (any version) or in Opera as the page slowly fades in. I am using a repeating jpg image right now for the background. All other main browsers are showing it correctly. If looking at my source code would help you to diagnose the problem it is here: http://www.ern-architects.com/lindanelson_webdesign/index.html If IE or Opera doesn’t support the “Backstretch” script, can you tell me how to write the css or html code so that ONLY these two browsers will show a static color without disturbing the correct “Backstretch” function in the other browsers (Firefox, Safari, Chrome)? I Need Help!! Really new to all of this. I am curious . . I am editing the “gallery”. I have pictures loaded. Everything is working fine except for this. The picture that is loaded that says “Photography By Marc . . . . ” I want that gone. I got the words and link gone . . but now the black box still shows up behind my images. how do I get rid of it as well?

What am I looking at? What are you trying to do?
If you click on portfolio . . it pops up a black box that says Portfolio (scroll over to see more images) I want to take thta black box and content away and there just be pictures starting there.
Also . . curious about adding a mp3 player to the site that would remain when you navigate throughout the different pages.

hey great theme-one question. I added a picture for the background image. its a high res and in photoshop it look sambaing but when its on the site it looks like it zooms in and it looks pixelated. www.wired-upinc.com is my site. any idea?
Can you tell me what the PHP code is used for? I’m thinking of using the template on a Ruby on Rails site, so I’d either need to replicate the php code in ruby, or take it out altogether. Is the PHP code integral to the theme?
The PHP code is only used for the contact form. All other pages are standard HTML .
