The fullscreen resize is not really a fullscreen.
For instance re-size your brower in chrome below 1000px, and the image creeps up the page and shows a large grey section.
Also looks unusable on iphone or any mobile phone.
It does that because it is shrinking in proportion, otherwise it would distort.
It is not a mobile theme.
Any chance of integrating a javascript scroll bar on the content, rather than the default browser one?
Yeah possibly.
you immediately impressed me upon first view but i think there are a few things that need to get cleaned up so it’s even better…
first & most important is the scrollbar on the right side of each page.. it really should look more minimalist / clean to go along w/ the amazing aesthetic of the rest of the theme… check out the Broadside template for inspiration, that’s what comes to mind.
second & also really important are children pages / drop downs.. something has to be created to make use of child pages….
it looks great overall!

Having a rather baffling problem with it.
There was no “blog” page visible, just a sample page. but every page displays the blog posts.
http://blueoxdesigns.com/oxdollars/Any ideas?
Setup your pages and from Settings > Reading assign the blog to whatever page you like.
Now it’s only displaying the dummy “Welcome” page.
(you think it’s because I’m on a sub-domain?)
Ahh yes possibly!
Still having the same problem.
Re-insatlled all, still having the problem of just the first page displaying… then not disappearing.
And the blog doesn’t appear at all.
Domain is now Oxpays.com
Any ideas how to make that work? (could it be the version of Wordpress I’m using which is the newest one?)
No idea, email wp login details to hello[AT]ikreativ[DOT]com and I’ll take a look.

Cheers!

Got it. Should be sorted now buddy!
Hello there,
I am interested on buying this theme and I have a couple of questions.
1st how easy it is instead of the “follow facebook, twitter” thing on the right side to be placed under the navigation menu as icons along with other social media buttons?
Second of all on the place were follow twitter fb I wanted to place HTML code for online booking, will that be easy?
and third, will twitter plugins, newsletter plugins, other contact forms and translation plug-ins work with this theme?
thank you:)
You can create any custom menu buttons you want as the theme uses the WP3 menu system.
If you know some basic HTML then chaning the social part will be easy.
I’ve tried to make the theme as compatible as possible but I can’t verify every single plugin, but they should work.
Scott
Hi iKreativ,
I am very interested in this template. But I would like to incorporate an eCommerce solution for my client. Is it possible to add the WordPress eCommerce plugin to your theme without breaking it?
Robert
I’ve not tested it so I couldn’t comment.
Hello,
I love the theme, would like to know, before buying it, if it is possible to change the height of the logo placement .
Thank you,
Vincent
Yes!

Hi i’ve just download the theme. As you can see on the site http://www.restaurant-labartavelle.fr/#/ all the page have the same contain. I ‘ve tried to change the settings but nothing….The contact page doesn’t work… Is it possible to have a template with the same settings as you did on themeforest???
Thanks for your help.
Change your permalinks as the theme page specifies. Go to Settings > Permalinks and change it to anything but default.
Hey there,
Is there a possibility to link certain posts in categories to certain pages? For instance – add a category “dogs”, then create posts and link them to that category and then have a Category page that only shows the posts linked to that specific category?
Thanks, Janet
Thats possible, although you’ll need to create a page template manually and have it call a category via query_posts
Hi there,
One other question – I just uploaded an image to the slideshow and the automatic scale cuts out a lot of the image. See this link of the original photo and the cut photo.
http://www.janetbakker.nl/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Vizsla.jpgIs there a reason why there is so much cut? Is there an ideal widthxheight size of image I should use to reduce the amount of cutting?
I mean, if I’m scaling the images at 1680×1050, it should cover most screens, right?
Thanks, Janet
It crops to keep the aspect ratio square, try sizing the images around 1024×768 and see if it looks better
Hi,
I just purchased your theme and i’ve (only) one problem.
I can’t see any background images (1024 / 800)
I try Static, Slide, With or without overlay.
I work with theme test Drive so i believed it was because of it but it’s not. I try whitout this plugin too …
I don’t understand :/
any idea ?
thx in advance
Zaile
In your wordpress admin go to Settings > Permalinks and set to anything other than default. Also ensure /sidewindr/inc/cache/ is set to 755. You can do that by right clicking the folder in your hosting control panel or FTP client and choosing CHMOD
Thanks for your answer.
just did what u said, but it doesn’t still work …
I’d need a link, wp login and FTP access to help more. If you want to send them to hello@ikreativ.com I’ll take a look.
Hey iKreativ,
Nice job on the team. Super easy to customised and works likes like a dream while on my a localhost. However I have spent days trying to get the images to appear on the front end… Its strange, the only way I can get them to show is have the permalink set to custom with my sites url and in media have the full path the the folder. But this will only show in the admin and not on the front end.
Has anyone experienced this or have you got any ideas? I did noticed that to have a successful upload I would need to check the url the image imported with as I have noticed the last two folders appear twice at the end of the path. Maybe thats whats causing it?
Anyways nice work dude as the one on my locallhost is hot!
If you have any ideas let me know.
Ta
yes you need custom permalink, also ensure the frontend admin bar is disabled from your user profile.
Hey mate,
Hav removed admin bar and made custom permalinks and still not displaying images in the slideshow. The error I am getting is Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 (Bad Request) – timthumb.php
Any ideas?
I could do with it being live and a link to check it out, I need to see what’s happening.
thanks mate, link – http://111.118.173.34/~scetch/
Its because your on an IP range. Should be fine once it’s on a proper www domain.
