Awesome guy, Good Luck!
You best theme so far! Keep it up like this and you will have tons of sales
Thanks guys! This is my return to Themeforest after one year away, so thanks for the warm welcome
This looks great, very cool work.
Is it possible to trigger the lightbox effect from the thumbnail images? So instead of showing the details page when you click a thumbnail, the image would pop-up instead?
Thanks.
Do you mean from the portfolio page? It wouldn’t be hard to do technically, so if you buy the theme I can walk you through it.
I’ve added that feature directly in the theme, so you don’t have to worry about it
So, i am the proud owner of the first download?
Great theme
Congratulations! Don’t hesitate to contact me if you find some bugs or have a question
I’ve just updated the files to fix a few small javascript bugs, you might want to re-download them to have the latest version.

+1 moreGood job, good luck with sales!
I like the theme… we needed a portfolio-based site. A REAL one that showcases the work and you did it!
My only hesitation is… the blog looks boring when it’s just text. Is there an option for a photo to show in the blog title?
Thanks! Troy
Thanks, I’m glad you like the theme!
If you include a photo in your post’s content before the “more” tag it should automatically appear in the blog archive, too. Or did you have something else in mind?
Wow! Cool theme, i love the simple effects that make it great. Good stuff!
Is there a way built in to have the homepage slides cycle through on their own?
yeah, i like this one a lot… tempted to suggest this one for a project i’m working on….
the two questions i have, have already been asked:
1> can the home page sliders rotate automatically?
2> can you set up the portfolio images to have an automatic Lightbox / Pretty Photo style pop up, overlay?
/s
You can easily to both, I’ll write up a tutorial in the FAQ to explain how.
You can now control the slideshow from the wordpress admin, and I’ve enabled lightboxes on the portfolio gallery too
This is awesome! I have searched for a theme like this for ever.
FEATURE REQUESTS :
support for swf files
And at the portfolio front page: Maybe I can arrange the project by 2 options “made by” and “webdesign”: Så I can narrow down my sortings. I want to sort the portfolio to see what different people have made in different projectareas.
Is there a way to implement grid-sorting? Like how I want to display the portfolio (small icons with text, images with text on the left, bigger images and so on) Some other templates has this feature.
Can you implement the ribbon feature on images? So that on a picture there is a ribbon at the corners saying NEW or UPDATED or WEBDESIGN , FLASH and so on. I have seen these ribbons and they are great.
Under the Silvero logo maybe there should be a picture header?Or above.
Can there be a image header for every Portfolio sub category? like Webdesign.
Can the sidebar be on the right?
If I go to a project page I want to have the breadcrumbs like: Portfolio-Webdeisgn-projectname It’s easier for me to click on Webdesign and go straight back to all the projects for Webdesign. Instead of clicking Portfolio and then to Webdesign again. Now it only says Portfolio-project name
*Can it have a fullscreen slide show of all projects? So it takes all the images in a fullscreen folder and automatic shows them? This would be great if I present the projects on a projector and all I’m interested is to show the images and a header text.
Know it’s hard work but think this theme would be ultimate if this is implemented. Thanks!
- support for swf file: this is a good idea, I’ll look into it.
- more project details: I’ll definitely add tags. File project icons are delicate because I don’t know what icons people would want, and same thing with ratings I’m not sure it’s a feature that would appeal to everybody.
- grid sorting: I’m not sure I see what you mean, can you give me a link to a template that has this?
- ribbon: that’s a cool idea, I’m not sure if it would fit the theme’s design but I’ll think about it
- picture header: I’m not sure how to add this given the theme’s current layout. I’ll definitely add the option to let people upload a logo more easily though.
- image header: This could be great, but I suspect most people don’t want to take the time to design a separate image for each sub category. So this would probably be a very under-used feature, which means I can’t put it at the top of my list, sorry.
- sidebar on the right: this is easy to change in the css, I’ll write up a tutorial about it.
- breadcrumbs: you’re right, it should be the way you said, I’ll fix that
- fullscreen slideshow: again a really cool idea, but probably out of the scope of this theme. But post it on uservoice and if there’s enough votes I might just do it!
Thanks for all your feedback, it’ll really help me improve the theme!Very, very nice!
Functionality of your theme is fantastic – finally something I can use out of the box…
Only the look & feel will need some changes, to mach my client’s style. Can that be done from the single CSS file? I see that your standard style.css imports many different css files….
cheers!
Wow, thanks for the praise! I’ve written a short guide to help you make sense of all those CSS files: http://silverio.sachagreif.com/documentation/faq/#css-files
Hi, thanks for the fast reply =)
(7. sorry ment sidebar on the left)
3. example: http://catalin.nitza.ro/wp2/category/portfolio/websites/ list style.
The support for swf would be awesome.
/Thanks
Oh ok, I see what you mean now. I don’t think I’ll add that kind of sorting, because it would conflict with the filtering javascript effect I already have, sorry.
When you say SWF support, where do you mean exactly? As it is you can already include SWF files in the homepage slideshow (since you can include any php file), but you cannot have SWF files in the portfolio gallery or the project gallery.
Flash swf support like this: http://www.kriesi.at/demos/display/adobe-flash/
Noticed now that something wrong in the demo with the project thumbnails -when you click on one it just displays in a new webpage. Both in Internet Explorer and Firefox..
While I can see that it might be useful to have flash content inside the project gallery, it would add too much complexity to the theme. So this is something you will have to do manually by replacing the gallery with a swf yourself. But it’s not that hard, you just need to duplicate single.portfolio.php to create a new template, and then point all the posts in your new swf category to it.
Also I’ve corrected the slideshow bug, sorry about that.
I’ve installed the theme but something is up with the install?? http://www.diversifyemailmarketing.com/ please could you let me know
There was a small bug that I’ve fixed. If you contact me by email I’ll send you the latest version of the files, and it should work fine.
When I make a new category. It doesn’t show up in the Silverio options. I can’t choose any category at all. Why is that?
Just put some posts in the category and it will appear
Thank you for adding lightbox functionality to the thumbnails – theme purchased, can’t wait to get started!
You’re welcome, thanks for buying the theme
does this theme work with – All in One SEO Pack and Google XML Sitemaps plugins?
Yes, I’m using All in One SEO Pack on the demo site myself.
Hi
just wanted to report your button is broken on the contact page. (I’m using Chrome to browse your site)
Thanks, it’s fixed!
Hi -
I bought the theme, not because I use wordpress, but I liked the style and thought I’d hack it to my needs, but I didn’t focus on the fact I would only receive PHP files… (makes sense when I think about it!)
So I took took the compiled source from your live demo and tried to build a local copy from there… which 90% worked, but I couldn’t get the small thumbs (ie. the ones that sit beneath the main “hero” images on the home page) to function properly, they all tried to open a new page.
Before I spend any more time on this I just wondered whether it was relying on a dependancy that is exclusive to a wordpress implementation… or whether you had a pure HTML version that you could supply me with.
If you don’t, don’t worry about it, I’ll get there in the end.
It is a good looking theme, well done.
Cheers,
F
Thanks for buying the theme! Send me an email with a link to your html files, and I’ll try to figure out what’s missing.
