Simple Mobile

I would like for this theme to activated with tablets. Please let me know how I can set this.

Currently, I have 2 themes running. One for desktop and one for mobile using Wordpress Mobile Pack. I want this theme to be “on” for ipad and android tablets, not the desktop theme.

On the desktop version, “Switch to our mobile site” is displayed twice, one on top of the other.

Never mind the “Switch to our mobile site” question above. The footer.php file had a weird duplication of <?php wp_footer(); ?> right above the closing body tag. I got rid of it and the problem went away.

I can’t seem to get the Twitter info to show up. Is there a trick to turn it on for the first time? I hope this hasn’t been asked before. I couldn’t find anything on this issue in the comments..

Very nice theme Pre-order question: I´ve just want to know if you are planning an update in order to be possible to use it on tablets also. I guess that´ll be a killer feature, don´t you think so?

can the navigation elements be used as images instead? Or, can they be widened with a solid background? I’m looking to have a quick visual cue with large enough navigational choices for phones specifically.

Thanks for your reply. How much control is there in what’s displayed on the mobile version. I’d like to show only the pages that I’d like to appear in the mobile version. In other words, will this only pull from my existing theme or can it be controlled as an independent theme?

I purchased your theme a while back and plan on using it now. I have a problem uploading the theme to wordpress. When I upload, I receive an error stating that CSS file is not present.

Please advise on the fix.

Recently bought your Simple Mobile theme and wanted to know, are there any instances of Simple Mobile working with WP Touch?

In other words, where someone is using the Simple Mobile theme as the presentation of WP Touch?

I purchased it but can’t uplaod it as a new theme. My WP doesn’t recognize it as a proper theme. Then I realized there aren’t any php file but html instead. How can I use install it?

having a bit of trouble with resizing images… I tried this theme on 1 site and it resized all the images automagicly, Now I am trying to put it in the site I needed it for and it doesn’t resize the images so most of them appear cut off. Any ideas?

Ignore me! found it in the mobile theme settings “downsize large images” durrrr… keep up the good work!

Hi, real question this time, looked around for the answer, no joy…

I have embedded a video on a page, it cuts half of the video off. The standard youtube embed size is width:420px when it loads it into the simple mobile framework, it cuts off 100 px or so as the width of the layout is 320px.

anything we can do to resize these as with the images?

Hi, I would also like to know how to make multiple templates, my site has a general blog which works great but it also has another posts page that displays custom posts. It seems the only blog that works is the one that is set in the reading settings of wp.

I attempted to make a new template for the theme to display these custom posts but then noticed there is no option to change the template file in the add/edit page options. any ideas?

hi. if I change the embed size of the video, it will be small on the desktopn site though – is there no way to work on a percentage value here?, I will give it a try with index.php for the templates.

Hi, as CUSTOM POSTS DO NOT WORK with this theme is there a way to display a different menu for the mobile theme? At present you have the option to display the same menu as the desktop theme but not have it’s own without it being activated as the main theme.
