WordPress Mobile Pack? http://box.c.yimg.jp/res/box-s-cgr67h4gupkmdfojvcbf36kzvy-1001?uid=aa80f9f4-6481-41e9-9084-800cf933b0ce&etag=cf0292c1135163732473137What is the name of the widget? Can I see the site online, please? Remember, that widgets form desktop theme may not be used my the Mobile Pack, so doesn’t display on the mobile theme.
I’m a newbie to this and after having read some other comments, I can see that I made a mistake purchasing the template instead of the theme. No problem, I’ll just purchase the theme but before I do so I want to make sure it’s the right thing for me. My HTML skills is relatively limited (I kind of google my way through it). How ‘idiotproof’ is the theme? Will there be an editor and/or guide for ‘idiots’ like me? I want the mobile site to run only for display on phones and keep my existing site as it is. Can the mobile site run separately on the same domain without having to change the coding in my existing site, everytime I update the content or layout?
I just purchased it anyway, and learned it wasn’t really what I was looking for. My existing site is not wordpress, just basic html. Is it possible at all to get simple mobile running om my domain for mobile users, along with a basic website for PC users?
Hi,
So, if you have both version (template nad wp) you can decide, you can build your mobile side on html template if you have how to do that, or set up wordpress cms.
You must use some kind of mobile detection script (like this) on you current site to display mobile version for mobile devices – but i can’t assist in that.
Cheers.
Hi, Is there anyway to make the width fluid (100%) It views funny on iPads with such a narrow width.
Thanks
Hi,
nope. I know, but it was built before world knew iPads, and I think it will stay that way.
Cheers

Hi is it possible to have the menu in an open state without having to click the navigate button? Also can I remove the blogs, I want it really simple, header, navigation (open) and footer.. possible?
Hi,
1. nope. 2. Yes, you can set a static page as a frontpage to achieve that (except the open menu.
If you need theme modification, I recommend these guys
Cheers
Hello all… Can anyone assist.
I’m trying to eliminate two things from the pages that are displayed on the mobile sites with this theme. I need to hide the ‘comment’ number (comments are disabled globally but this still appears) and Also I need to get rid of the date on top of each page.. Not sure how to accomplish both.. I think I’m overlooking something in the code. Thanks!
Lastly.. in the navigation bar… I need to either eliminate the ‘orange ball’ all together or replace it with a custom image that makes sense for my brand… Have been unsuccessful in finding that information as well.
Hi,
there is no such built-in option. If you need that kind of customization, I recommend these guys.
The other issue I can’t find my way around is the navigation… When I have the mobile theme activated, I choose my ‘Mobile Navigation’ as my navigation.. it looks fine on mobile until i activate the desktop theme…. once that happens, the mobile theme always reverts to the desktop navigation.. Anyone else having this issue and find a fix? Thanks.
If you use the MobilePack plugin, there are two options: 1. Menu from the main theme is used, or 2. pages are listed in a menu.
Cheers
Thanks for the reply. Can you elaborate? I’ve combed through the MobilePack plugin as well as your theme. I’m allowed to set the navigation for your theme as well as for my main theme (only when those themes are activated). Once the main theme is activated… the mobile takes on the navigation of the main theme as opposed to my Mobile navigation. I can’t find anywhere where you can specifically assign menus for mobile and desktop. Can you point to the specific spot this can be done? Thanks.
There is no such option.
If you look at this screenshot (http://f.cl.ly/items/2d2D222N3h3W0S1X0w1Z/sample_shot.png), you will see that it is allowing us to pick a menu. But that menu is not the one used when browsing with safari (or other mobile browsers). What is this option for if it doesn’t specify the menu to be shown when the mobile browser views the page?
It will work if you use Simple Mobile as your only theme. This won’t work if it’s just a secondary theme.
Cheers
Is there a way to remove the comment count (bubble) at top right. Also, how can I remove the RSS button at the bottom right.
Hi,
there is no such built-in option. If you need that kind of customization, I recommend these guys.

I have a current need to host multiple single page mini-sites (mobile web landing pages actually) that can effectively be reskins of the same page with different colors, logos, etc. If possible, I’d like to be able to handle this from the Dashboard, instead of using FTP and stylesheets as you would with child themes.
Is your theme customizable enough to handle a need like this? Thanks.
Hi,
you can change scheme and logo form Dashboard, but not customize CSS.
Cheers
Hi, on mobile, I wish I could show all the “Posts” and not the static page of the web site. how to do. what is the PHP code? Thank you.
Hi,
you can set in in Settings / Reading.
Cheers
in wordpress? no! because i want to see the “posts” only on mobile
how can I enable “all posts” on only Mobile, my website uses the static like page home…..
There is no such option.
I know … I want to know where you can edit the code!
to show the posts .. a Mobile site …. can not be like a web site right?
I hope for an answer ….
This kind of modifications are beyond the free support.
Cheers
ah Thanks!
This theme is terrible, not worth the money spent!!!
Hi! I’ve got 2 questions..
1. I’m using this theme with a Woo Theme for the desktop site. The woo shortcodes (buttons etc) used in all the pages don’t work in the mobile version. How can I fix this?
2. What link should I use if I want users to manually switch to the desktop site?
Cheers
Hi,
1. shortcodes from other themes don’t work on this theme. You can switch off processing shortcodes in Theme Options, though.
2. It depends what plugin you use for that purpose.
Cheers
Hi, how easy is it to implement ad code to this theme? Also, is it possible to have an ad appear in the middle of content? And can this use my Disqus comments from the main site? Thanks.
Hi,
it depends on your skills, but it’s rather easy.
Cheers
