Hello,

I have created image sliders using the Shortcoder.

How can I change the slider speed? Slider is too fast (images only shown for 3-4 seconds).

I tried changing values for ‘pause_time’ and ‘animation_duration’ in /Simplex/core/shortcodes/slider.php file. However, that did not work. **In Chrome I do see changing these settings in slider.php DOES change the data-pause_time and data-animation_duration attributes. But there is no effect on the slider speed.

I am wondering if it is possible to have more than 5 images in a portfolio post. Some of my projects have more images than 5.

Someone else asked where to change the colors on the site. I don’t see the Theme Options – Skin Options. Only Color Sheme. I want to change the RED items on the site.

Hi,

It is becoming urgent to optimize this theme because it loads about 10 scripts and about 11 stylesheets… This increases unnecessarily loading time. Moreover, this files are not minifiable by WP minification plugins.

In addition, the theme is loading all scripts in every page. It could be better to load only when necessary, on demand.

Morever, media elements javascript library is present in the theme. Is it possible to make a shortcode to provide a full html video player, for self hosted videos ?

Hello, Like Aurélien Pierre it would be very nice to be able to add self hosted videos. I was also wondering if you could add the option to not show related videos at the end of the video in Youtube. I think it is by adding “&rel=0” at the end of the url. That way it would be much more professional to show our work. Thanks again for this great theme. Sebastian

I can go under theme options and replace the font under the options – fonts tag, but this doesn’t affect the custom title font.

Hello! I’m having problem with the Twitter widget. I got it connected, it shows the first 2 entries. But then it doesn’t load anymore the new ones I post on Twitter. It gets “stuck” on the first 2 entries (I just created my Twitter account) Any help would be great! thank you!

Hello again. After searching in google on the query.social.js file, it seems that it might come from http://codecanyon.net/item/jquery-social-feedr/1808909, is it correct? In that case they have been a change in the Twitter API and that might be the reason why it gets “stuck” on 2 entries. Would it be possible to have the latest .js file? Thank you!

Hello, This is the strangest thing ever..! For days it put “Couldn’t load tweet” and now it does.. It try now to change the “count” parameter (from 3 to 2) but it seems that it is not immediate… I might have to wait a bit just in case it responds in a few hours… (I did empty my cache in Firefox). Thank you!

I am sorry to come back with the same subject but I still have problem with the api. As it seems that nobody else is really having issue I don’t know really what I might have done wrong. Here you can see how the api looks now: http://silentdrop.net/ftp/screenshot.png

Is it something on my server? Although I have the same webpage on 2 servers (http://silentdrop.es and http://silentdrop.net) with the same issue. Might be from Twitter but then again everyone would have then the same problem.

I finally found out what is making the API “break”.. It only looks for the 2 (in my case) last tweets of X days ago. If we didn’t tweet for more than a certain number of days it says “Could not load tweets”. Because there are too old! So now I’m kind of force to tweet more often :-)

Firstly great theme – very well thought out and executed. We have the wordpress theme download and have installed it however when creating new pages we only see “Default” and several “Portfolio” options in the template drop down. We were expecting the other layouts to be available here like “Home layout 1” etc. Are we mistaken here being that we need to build these pages using the shortcodes layer by layer?

OK – We have worked out the template issue – the documentation did not refer to installing the xml file in the package as a separate step – once this was done all appeared! We are now having an issue with the contact form – The issue is once the form has been submitted it disappears and leaves a blank space. We thought a “success” message or similar would appear where but no luck. The optional success message field is already populated by default and this has had no effect. Please provide some guidance.
