Sorry one more issue:

On my home page when I increase the horizontal size of the page a small line will show up to the right of my custom layout boxes. My site is http://www.MauriceLagunaBeach.com

I see the blue line to the right of this image: http://cl.ly/image/3E3w191Z3i1M this doesn’t look awful, but when I change the image links to red, it is really noticeable.

Btw, great site!! I’m loving it!!!

Hey

I can see in the image what you mean, but the website looks fine. If you want to increase the page width, try just tweaking the width a little as the elements use % width and might be landing on a partial pixel.

Hello,

I’ve purchased this theme and so far it’s been really good, but I have a couple of issues I’ve come across.

The first is in regard to custom headers and by this I mean page specific images in the header (or body) for each section of the site. Not sliders, but a basic static image that would re-size similar to the slider images. I’ve managed to get the theme to display an image on pages other than the home page, but am now slightly stuck figuring out how to get the image to re-size. Any help on this would be great. It seems like the issue lies with the media query. Speaking of which in the css file the media query section is non existent and should be after the drop down section. Why does it appear to be missing?

Second the slider seems to have issues automatically adjusting to new sizes when the browser width is condensed and then expanded. This also seems to be the case when viewed on mobile tablets as well. Is there a fix for this? I can duplicate the problem on our site easily as well as on the demo site for the theme.

Thanks

Hello again,

To update my previous post I’ve taken care of the issue regarding unique header images for pages other than the homepage (also it would be great if you could include this feature in later version of this theme). However there is still the slider issue. It will not consistently re-size when the browser width is narrowed then widened.

Hello. Regarding the slider, there is an option to place the caption and small text on the left side of the image or right. No matter what I choose and refresh, the text remains on the left.

Can this be corrected?

Hi, some of the caption styles only work to display on the left just because it wasn’t reasonable to style theme on both sides. The one I can think of is the highlight style.

Thank you for your response. I think I understand. For the styles where left & right sides aren’t truly optional, consider disabling or hiding the choice to avoid confusion. Can you list which styles allow right side captioning? I am having a hard time finding any.

Are you in wide mode or boxed?

Thanks for responding. Boxed

My apologies, I stand corrected. The options are Wider, Boxed or Full. I am using Wider.

Hi any feedback regarding the re-sizing issue with the slider that was posted over 10 days ago?

brainbuzzmedia

I am not sure what issue there is. What users are going to be resizing the browser size repeatedly and expecting that everything responds perfectly? The slider works responsively regardless of what size it is viewed at.

to answer your question—those using an iPad or other tablet that automatically re-sizes the browser from vertical to horizontal dimensions when the device is rotated would expect everything to respond perfectly. Also those adjusting their browser to make room for another application window may also experience this issue.

Having to hit the browser refresh button to get the images to remain proportional to the sliders current dimensions isn’t the best, but is currently the only solution.

To clarify the issue—the slider itself re-sizes just fine, but the images remain at whatever their previous size was and as a result a large section of white space occupies a significant portion of the slider “window”. It’s just not a very elegant transition.

Is there some way to fix this? I suppose deactivating the slider or preventing it from cycling through images would work, but then what’s the point of using it at that point? Anyway, if you can help that would be great and if not your time and effort spent on this project is appreciated regardless.

Thanks

I’m having trouble adding an accordion of any sort to this theme. No matter which plugin I use (e.g. Arconix FAQ, IndiaNIC FAQs Manager, etc.), they don’t work in your theme. They work perfectly using the default WordPress themes like Twenty Eleven and Twenty Twelve.

Can you help regarding an accordion? I don’t believe this theme comes with one. :(

Hmm I will take a look at this and get back to you.
