Is it possible to add more page templates which use different sidebars? Also is it possible to define more sidebars or is the theme restricted to the four already defined? I have tried to do this and the new sidebar is available to add widgets but I cannot ‘get’ this sidebar into an existing or new page template, the theme still picks the ‘default’ page sidebar. Is there any workaround for this or is it not possible?
The reason I have been trying to get different sidebars into different pages is that I would like to be able to display links to child pages from parent pages and the child pages of that parent page as is common on most websites, is there any other way of doing this?
Update on above questions. I have now got the extra sidebars working and with new page templates, I had omitted a change in the new sidebar php file.

Using WordPress 2.8.6 Is there some reason why my comments are not coming up on pages?
I have ‘Show comments on non-blog posts’ checked but still nothing.
Why won’t only the excerpt show for the blog. This theme is unusable without it.
About showing only the excerpt- I have replied on your comment above.
About not showing the comments on pages- you have to add:
<div id="comments"> <?php comments_template(); ?> </div>in the page.php file before closing the “content” div. If you cannot deal with it please write me a personal message so I can send you the changed file.
Very clear wp theme. Perfect for my portfolio. Before I purchase: it is possible to change the the size of the picture in the php? I need another aspect ratio. The with is ok for me, but not the height. And one more question: since last update of wp I have some difficulties with the utf-8 code. Because wp is filtering the german ä/ö/ü. This problem is only in heading h1-h3. Is your theme ok in this aspect?

About changing the size of the images on the portfolio- it is not difficult to do it. You just have to change one value in the CSS file and another value in the JS file and that’s all
I can tell you what to change.
About using German symbols, I have just tested the theme with the symbols that you have wrote on headings and paragraphs and it works okay- it displays the symbols.

Hello, Very nice theme, and I am contemplating on buying it. I have a question first, though: One the index page there is a big image-slider. What are those images? Are they like “newest updates”, or a fixed selection of images? I’m asking, because when I click it in the demo, nothing happens…

The images on the slider are not a special set of images, there is a field in the admin panel where you can set which images to show. You can set link to each of the images or leave them without links. Each of the images can link to a different location.

Dear Pexeto, I have another question for you.
Are the images automatically cropped/resized for the different kinds of icons, or do I have to upload several different kinds?
On the demo-site, some of the blog-posts have images that are bigger than the frame: http://pexeto.com/sintagma_wp/?p=270 ... how come?
Some of the images are cropped automatically, another are not cropped. The images on the posts (as on the link) are not cropped automatically, they are shown in their real size, but you can alter their size very easily from the admin panel. On that link I have used a bigger image, I have missed to resize it.
On the portfolio section, for example, you have the possibility to choose between having images cropped automatically or using your own smaller images. Also on the sidabar on the “Latest from the blog” section the small images are cropped automatically from the bigger thumbnails on the posts.

I have yet another question for you. Is Sintagma set up for multiple authors? I noticed that in the “credites” for each post, the author is listed as “admin”, and that it is NOT clickable. I have a site with many writers, and it would be nice if the readers could 1) See who the writer is 2) Click of the authors name, and read a small bio of that person ... is that doable in Sintagma?
Yes, you can have multiple authors, as WordPress allows this. About making author name clickable- it can be done very easily, but it will link to an archive of the author’s posts- this is the default action. More coding will be needed if you need author’s name to link to a bio page.

To change the background image you just have to replace your image with the current one and that’s it! There is nothing complicated in changing it! And as the theme is transparent, I think you won’t need to change anything else.
Hey, I have no been playing around with the theme for a couple of hours – and it’s just PERFECT !!! It is exactly what I needed, and the help-file is easy to understand.
I just have two questions (at the moment):
1) I can’t get it to only read a “excert” of blog-posts – it reads the entire post on my index. It should only read a couple of lines, and end with “Read more”.
2) Is there any way of using a “spam-filter” for the contact-form? Last night I got TWO spam email!!!

About question 2)- are you sure this is from Sintagma’s contact form? I am asking this as I use this form too, but I have no spams.
Oh yes, it’s the contact-form that I got from your theme. I know this because the spam I got was two emails send via the form, with the headline I wrote in the Settings.
I can think of one solution- if you want you can insert your email in the sendEmail.php file instead from the admin panel. You can do this by replacing the line
$emailToSend=$_POST['emailToSend'];with the line:
$emailToSend='youremail@xxx.yyy';Of course you have to insert your email on the place of youremail@xxx.yyy. Also, the most important thing is to leave the the Email field in the ‘Sintagma Options’ empty.

Is it possible to make a “bread crumb”-trail in this theme? I really, really need one, as I am making a site with several sub-sub-sub-pages … I have been trying some free plugins from wordpress.org, but none of them seem to work for me.

I found some plugins that will do what I wanted. In case anyone else is interested, I have used two that works as widgets, and I use both at the same time:

Can we change the color background, font and font color and size? Can I add a drop down menu especially for the gallery section. And I can get rid all of those stuff under the big centered picture on the homepage. You have to do the same in portfolioPage.php for the portfolio page, contactPage.php for the contact page and blogPage.php for the blog.
