- There’s more than one plugin called osCommerce, which one? Slick comes compatible with the most known plugins, the one you wish to use it’s probably already supported.
- Yep, the slider can be set in pause mode via option panel
- Yes, you can use square images, slider height can be changed via option panel
- If you refer to change the header height, yes, you just need to change a couple of values in the css.

osCommerce, the open source shopping cart. Not a wordpress plugin. (not wp e-commerce, woo commerce, etc)
osCommerce is the only open source cart that is compatible with my gateway/merchant..
Actually I’m not familiar with this software, that’s beyond my work. I think that here we are talking more about how to integrate osCommerce with WordPress than the theme. From what I can see from here http://goo.gl/Rxc75 the theme has nothing to do with it. You are asking for something really outside the theme. You should simply test it.

Hi, i buy this Theme, first Look Great and fit for what i want. The only thing i think can be improved its a widgetized Footer like the synthetik theme, i see some things in the synthetik theme that looks great and can be used in this theme too. I like more the side bar in the synthetik theme, so please advise me if theres going to be updates in this direction. Thankx

Thank you for your suggestion. New snapshots and new stuff are “under constructions” for all my products. And, sure, as explained in the theme description, colors and many other things can be changed via Theme Options.

Then when I try to activate this theme, I’m getting this error:

I troubleshooted by renaming the file in the FTP , but was still receiving errors from Wordpress regarding the theme (it is listed under broken themes saying a style sheet is missing).
Do you have any suggestions?

The folder that needs to be uploaded is slick only, not slick.zip, it’s a common mistake. Just upload the theme in the right way and everything will be fine.

Can the vertical size of the homepage slider be easily adjusted? I like it, but I want it to take up less vertical real estate.
Hi, yes, supposing that for “vertical size” you mean the slider height yes, slider height can be easily adjusted via Theme Options, just need to change the value. Fast and easy
Great news on the ability to adjust the verticle height of the slider ! I have the opposite concern: the images i need to display are square, so I need more vertical height, so that they are not displaed as tiny images with tons of white space on either side !

I have a slight concern: On the demo site, when the nav menu is a drop down, it does not always perform properly. Instead of “select one” being the default, “portfolio” is always displayed after each page load. Worse, selecting “portfolio” from the drop down never loads the portfolio page, in fact it does Nothing. On a laptop, if I resize the window wide enough to get a standard nav bar, I can select “portfolio” and it loads, no problem. It may be intermittent, but portfolio drop down navigation seems to never, or at least almost never work.. Al lthe other drop down choices function as expected.
I’d really like to buy a theme today.. this is my top choice.. portfolio is to be the main menu item, so I need to ensure that it works..

OK, I took a screenshot of the menu on my win7 pro, IE 9 : dropdown always reverts to Portfolio, never Select One (which isn’t even selectable either), yet will never load the Portfolio page. The other day, I think it loaded portfolio if I re-selected it, or maybe I just expanded the window wide enough to get the nav links. Anyway, it’s always puzzlingly defaulted to Portfolio, no matter which page was loaded. Would be best if it reflected the loaded page. I don’t know how to attach screenshots to this post to show you how it is behaving on my end, a user.
I’ll purchase this theme if I can be gauranteed a refund if it duplicates this behaviour later on a user’s machine from my website..

Actually the purpose of a responsive menu is to adapt if the website is loaded into an iPad or tablet etc.. not on ie9 desktop on win, and I’m pretty sure that ie9 is not installed on iPad, or kindle etc.. The desktop layout loaded via media queries for desktop is not the drop-down one. We use to make a little test on desktop resizing the window but really the responsive menu is not designed to work on desktop but mobile.
I can’t take a look anyway but the responsive menu will work fine on mobile, and that’s where it has to work properly.

Bought the theme this afternoon. It’s really nice, but I have a few questions.
First, could you add a URL option for each client, so that in addition to having their logo, the image offers a link to their site?
Second, is there an easy way to change the portfolio slug? Right now it is set to “portfolio-item” and I don’t see where to change it.
