great theme!, but there is some kind of little Bug when you open the preview in Chrome or Firefox. You can see only the upper half of all custom Fonts. I refreshed the page multiple time and changing the javascript on top of the page after the css of at the bottom of the page before the body… same result.. You can see only the upper half of all custom Fonts

fyi. the site so far work only on IE 10

I sent you an email also, but I’m having problems with some of the sliders and carosel. I uploaded the files prior to changing anything so I could decide which layout I liked best.

Please check my site and reply … thanks

Hi,

Due to the fact that twitter deprecated it’s API in version 1.1, custom twitter widgets have new rate limits, display guidelines (style must match twitter.com). Twitter’s timeline widget doesn’t have any rate limits (you can view it as many times as you like) and you can customize the colors to match your theme. To add a twitter widget, just follow these simple steps:

1. Visit twitter.com/settings/widgets. You should be logged into the Twitter account from which you wish to display your latest tweets.

2. Click “Create New” within the Widgets section. The “Configure a user widget” page will appear.

3. Under Options, enter the site URL in the Domains section. You can also select an alternate Link Color (it will default to blue).

4. Select the “Create widget” button and a line of HTML code will appear in a text box to the right. Copy this entire line of code and paste it into a Text Widget. You can place the Text widget with your code in the widget area where you’d like the latest tweets to appear.

Best regards,
AtiX

Hola, he adquirido su plantilla y tengo la siguiente duda. ¿Existe alguna función para enlazar el blog de la web con el blog que ya dispongo en blogger?

Muchas gracias y felicitaciones por sus estupendas plantillas.

Hi folks, just purchased & am having a loading problem. If I empty the cache on Chrome, Safari or Firefox, it’s taking 30-70 seconds for the pre-loader image to quit spinning and the first header images to appear. This doesn’t appear to be a problem in the above comments, and doesn’t happen off my desktop. Was wondering if you’ve had the same problem, or if it might be with my host, iPowerweb. Love the template, can’t use unless it loads in less time. Thanks! Dennis : http://www.dennis-catron.net/dev2/index.html

Hi Dennis,

I have checked and for me the images are loading immediately.

PS (addition to above comment) – Just found if I hit refresh at any point the header isn’t loading, that it will instantly load and be fine (hope this helps with the initial problem :-)

To clarify, it’s taking a 30-70 seconds watching the preloader spin, but if I hit refresh, even 2 seconds in, it loads. Thanks…

Hi. I have checked again and for me works good.

Hi, just emptied my caches, 31 seconds on Chrome, 45 on Safari. Is there a way to just disable the preloader (if one exists)? Thanks…

AtiX

No, there are no preloader for images.

Regards from Costa Rica! Any news about the WP version of this great template? I´ve read that you are working hard on it, but is there any idea of release date? I am urged to set a web site and this theme rocks…but I cant wait that long… therefore I ask!

Hi, I recommended this theme for my company site relaunch, but received the following comments from our IT guys responsible fore the build: “Whilst the theme was branded as HTML it essentially still requires WordPress to operate which is a problem for multiple reasons.” Am I missing something here? Does this theme require WP to operate?

Great theme!! I am fairly new to editing HTML (using dreamweaver), and I am wondering where I change the code to slow down the carousel slider transitions? Thanks so much for any insight!

AtiX
AtiX Author

Hello and thank you :)

Make one change in the file where is the carousel slider. Find this JavaScript code:

$('#carouFredSel').carouFredSel({
    auto: {
        pauseOnHover: 'resume',
        onPauseStart: function( percentage, duration ) {
            $(this).trigger( 'configuration', ['width', function( value ) {
                $('#timer_carousel').stop().animate({
                    width: value
                }, {
                    duration: duration,
                    easing: 'linear'
                });
            }]);
        },
        onPauseEnd: function( percentage, duration ) {
            $('#timer_carousel').stop().width( 0 );
        },
        onPausePause: function( percentage, duration ) {
            $('#timer_carousel').stop();
        }
    }
});

and replace it with this one and play with ‘duration’ parameter:

$('#carouFredSel').carouFredSel({
    auto: {
        pauseOnHover: 'resume',
        onPauseStart: function( percentage, duration ) {
            $(this).trigger( 'configuration', ['width', function( value ) {
                $('#timer_carousel').stop().animate({
                    width: value
                }, {
                    duration: duration,
                    easing: 'linear'
                });
            }]);
        },
        onPauseEnd: function( percentage, duration ) {
            $('#timer_carousel').stop().width( 0 );
        },
        onPausePause: function( percentage, duration ) {
            $('#timer_carousel').stop();
        }
    },
    scroll        : {
        'duration' : 1500
    }
});

Best regards,
AtiX

Hi,

Due to the fact that twitter deprecated it’s API in version 1.1, custom twitter widgets have new rate limits, display guidelines (style must match twitter.com) and are now intensively harder to configure (each theme user would need to create and register new twitter “app” with 4 special API keys). The easiest and best way to get a twitter feed on your site is to use twitter’s built-in twitter widget. Twitter’s timeline widget doesn’t have any rate limits (you can view it as many times as you like) and you can customize the colors to match your theme.
