Hi Smuliii,

When you rollover one of the links in the main navigation at the top of the page you get a highlight bar at the top and a grey background appear.

Is there any way I can turn ‘on’ this effect in the top navigation to have the highlight color and grey background [ like when you rolllover the link ] when you are in a page on that section?

It only highlights for the drop down menu to appear and then once you have clicked to go to a page in that section, it goes back to its resting state – unless you rollover it again.

I would like to visually show my visitors which section they are currently in as this is good usability practice.

Please let me know if I can do this by changing any of the code.

Tabs aren’t working for me on a test page. I have 1 line of content in each of three tabs. The first tab loads it’s content but if I click’s on any of the other tabs it doesn’t show the content?

I’m having trouble with the menu overlapping elements on my pages.

1. I would like to reduce the height of the menu to visually tighten it up. How do I do this correctly?

2. Some pages are showing up with the page title or text (if no page title) in the menu as well

3. How can I completely remove the H1 page title from the portfolio section and the blog such as here:

I want to style the .current-page-ancestor the same as .current-page without having to put the children in the menu with a dropdown. Can you help me with the custom css for that? I am messing with it for some time now but i can only get the bgcolor grey, not the green text and borders.

Also if i make a new menu for the footer and add it to the footer with the appearance->menu it keeps on using the normal menu, how is this possible?

I would like the Isotope filter to open to a selected category and show all categories at once, not just default to the All tab. Possible? If so, how?

Sorry in advance for such a simple question but I’m having trouble editing the homepage slider (from the dummy content). I went to features slider>image URL and chose my own image, edited the button title and description, then previewed it, but nothing changes…

Nevermind, figured it out. The slider didn’t update when I hit preview changes, only when I hit update.

1) Well I don’t think that many buyers actually needs to edit slugs, so I don’t think it’s necessary add those into Theme Options.

This is killing me right now. I need the ability to change the slug for the portfolio, or this theme is useless to me. I’ve gone and changed the 'rewrite' => array('slug'... in custom-post-types.php but now my Portfolio page (which lists all of them) is displaying like the Blog page. Any advice on how to edit the slug so this doesn’t happen would be much appreciated.

It was tough to see in that screencast if the slug for the portfolio list page was the same as the portfolio item page, just without the portfolio item slug appended to it. Here is what I’m trying to setup:

Portfolio page: /lawyers/ (will show the portfolio list) Portfolio item page: /lawyers/lawyer-name/ (will show the portfolio item) However right now when I visit /lawyers/ I get the archive template, and not the portfolio list. I have a page created with the slug “lawyers” and the [portfolio] shortcode in place. This seems to be completely ignored, however. Going to /lawyers/lawyer-name/ gives me the portfolio item page as expected.

I am able to change the slug rewrite to simple “lawyer” (instead of lawyers) and it works fine. So I’m guessing the problem lies in the fact that /lawyers/ is matching the slug rewrite and the theme is thinking it is an archive page before it can even do any of the Portfolio stuff.

However, I’m facing a funny bug.. When I’m changing the background color using your theme options panel, somehow it affects all the a tags.. And I mean, all of them (see next)

Hello! Thanks for the great theme. I have a question about something, or perhaps need the right direction in fixing a problem.

My navigation menu is setup as a wordpress custom menu. All the parent nav items are simply placeholders. The children are a combination of pages and posts. The problem I’m having is that when I go to a nav item in the navigation that is a post, that post item in the navigation is not highlighted (upon rollover as it normally does with a page) after it’s loaded. Additionally, when a child page (and or hopefully post) is active, I would like to be able to have the parent item in the navigation be highlighted as it would be a good way to keep the user knowing where they are on the site.

If you could get me on the right track with getting this fixed, I’d be very appreciative. Here’s a link. Thanks!

I’m struggling to format my content inside of a tab.

I’m attempting to add a couple of intro sentences at the start of my tab, followed by a bulleted list. However the top of the list is positioned right up close against the last line of my intro text. I’ve tried adding a line break but Wordpress strips these out. So I wanted to try and target this with CSS but it is proving difficult as the content is not wrapped in any

tags?

The only way I can think of fixing this is to use a <h> tag directly after a sentence and add some top padding, but this would mean that I’m potentially causing other elements that don’t warrant this top padding to break in the rest of my site.

Any help appreciated.

Quick question: how do I add a menu-item to my topp menu that displays the blog? I tried adding a menu-item with a link to /blog/ but that didn’t help. I also tried add a page with the code [blog] but didn’t work either
