Smasher Modern WordPress Theme

Hi there,

I’m posting this question here because my ticket has been open for a few days on ticksy.

My portfolio items are not displaying. Though the portfolio page works fine, and all portfolio items are available to be edited in the backend, whenever you click through to an individual portfolio item page you get an error.

All items have this problem, including new ones I create.

I have tried deactivating and activating again, then erased theme and reinstalled from now download. Problem persists.

Ideas?

Hello! How do I know whether my theme has been updated or not? It says I have a version 1.4.2 in the Themes settings. I have done everything the same as in the documentation for updating the theme i.e. configuring Envato toolkit. Also, I have old version of Revolution slider (1.5)

Hi, A client of mine purchased this theme and I really like your theme but I have a serious problem with using it. When I’m trying to put embedded Soundcloud files or even images it doesnt seem to work. With images I get results like this http://voiceoveroliver.co.uk/portfolio/eastern-tea/ and trying to embed audio I get this http://voiceoveroliver.co.uk/portfolio/love-at-first-seat-radio-advert/

I just want them to appear normally and ideally I’d love the Soundcloud file to appear in the main body of the portfolio post, like images etc appear on your demo site. Is there any way you’d be able to help me? Many thanks

Hey guys great job on the theme but I’m having an issue with the smasher – Theme options tab. It doesn’t seem to load anything except for the home page tab. everything else doesnt load and i cant change any of the options for the theme. Please help.

To the theme author: Consider updating header.php logo url from <?php echo site_url(); ?> to <?php echo home_url(); ?> on line 78. I tend to install my websites in a sub directory and have it appear it is at the root so my site URL and home URL are different so site_url would redirect to the wrong URL.

I have an issue that needs resolve immediately and I apologize for not asking sooner but it is much appreciated if you can help me or if anyone can. I have changed my colors to a dark red for buttons, hover over, everything I can I got rid of ALL orange in the theme and the “gray” buttons still have a hover over of orange? How do I change this?

HI again – how do you do the ‘Our Client’ slider that is featured on the home page of the demo site? i can’t find this in the documentation anywhere?

Posted several support requests on the ticketing system – have not heard anything back and so I thought I would try here. Please let me know as we are looking to take our site live tomorrow and really need those tickets answered with direction on how to resolve the issues with the theme.

1) How do we change the name of the SIGN UP button on the pricing tables & change the hyperlink set.

2) For the home page – we love the featured blog posts and the way you can click through more. However we would like to set a category called “featured” in posts – and only show the posts we assign to featured and nothing more.

3) How can we set it so the default blog posts – the title itself sets inside the comments boxed area like the regular pages do?

This is a great looking theme, we’ve purchased it but need help on an issue.

The support site is not loading: themecatalyst.ticksy.com , so I am posting the request here.

The theme is not compatible with Yoast SEO plugin—the plugin works correctly when the theme is disabled.

Here’s the problem: Yoast SEO plugin has fields in the wp-admin page edit view so that the user can update values for meta HTML tags. When using this theme, the values we enter into the Yoast plugin fields updates and can be verified in the db, but the entered field values do not show up on the front-end. Other themes work fine with our installation, it only happens when we switch to this theme. Can you help us?

Hello, I really enjoy this theme but is there a way to remove the filter button on the portfolio page and only have the tags display? Thank you

My theme slider randomly stopped working. The weird thing is that when I click on the Revolution Slider it shows four slides with no pngs but when you click on the “edit Slides” it shows the actual side as it once was; however, the content (even if it is saved) is not displaying in the slider on the front end. This used to work properly. Do you know what is causing this?

I have posted this before, but the blog issue on mobile devices is still not fixed. It’s annoying since we’re posting a lot and most readers are through our mobile website, they complain too. This is the link: www.miss-legal.nl
