Thanks a lot!

I like the colors what script are u using to support retina?

filipstefansson

Hi, there’s no retina support for image yet, but I’‘m about to add it.

However, almost every element in the design is CSS , and the icons are using an icon font, which makes them support retina as well.

what is the font used for Smashing. Btw the only similarity I see between Smashing and rdio is the use of white and blue colors.

Yours is awesome rdio is so so & boring.

Thanks!

I’m using a font called Quicksand. You’ll find it for free on Google Webfonts: http://www.google.com/webfonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Quicksand

the blue smashing logo font sure does not look like Quicksand.

Filip, I think the question was what font did you use for the logo. By the way the Portfolio page has a problem in Firefox. The images are positioned over the top of the text navigation just above them.

filipstefansson

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll have a look at the issue.

The logo font is Yesteryear: http://www.google.com/webfonts/specimen/Yesteryear

Great, thanks. Bought this. Will work perfectly for a web app I’m building.

Hi,

A fix for the portfolio problem: Add between the #filters-div and the .row-div in portfolio.html.

I’ve submit a patch, but it will take some time for it to get approved.

I like it and I bought it but I have a question Filip. Do you know of any easy way to convert the less files to sass/compass? The reason I ask is I have been using Yeoman, which has a really good and efficient build function, to set up the boilerpate and then dropping your files into it. But although Yeoman includes Bootstrap as default, the build function via grunt is set up for sass not less. At the moment, I run Codekit and compile the less files before running the Yeoman build but to be honest it would be better to have a sass version of Smashing. I’d appreciate your thoughts on this. Many thanks

Most of the LESS would be easy to change to SASS your self. I think the only difference is the way the variables look.

What would be the hard work would be to either re-write the mixins that I’ve used for border-radius etc, or to change the functions to Compass.

Thanks Filip Yes, I think you are right. That would probably take a lot of time. I hoped there might be some kind of intelligent convertor I could run the files through. It might be better to hope for a LESS version of Bootstrap to be included in Yeoman.

Just bought the template and it is great, very well designed. The only issues I see is the Firefox issue with the Portfolio…any progress on it?

Thanks.

No problem, man!

Hi Filip, I’ve purchased your template to make a static web of few pages. But I need to make these pages in multiple languages. Can you recommend me the best solution? To recognize it automagically with possibility to switch… Thanks a lot. D.

filipstefansson

Hi,

I’m not really sure how to make static pages translate automatically. I would say Google Translate is the easiest way, but their translations is automatic.

Otherwise you’ll have to go with a CMS , like WordPress or something like it, that can provide that functionality through a plugin.

I have another problem. I want to have a fullwidth slider with different height then you used. How i can set it up? I’ve tried setting this up in the jq loader (I set up the startwidth, startheight correctly) but without help. I’ve tried to find it in documentation but it looks it’s a little bit outdated (ther is only one index.html, no index-fullwidth.html and even the classes I cannot find. Please, can you help me? Thanks

filipstefansson

Hi,

To change the height of the slider, open style.css and look for the class section.hero, and change the height from 460 to whatever you want it to be. It’s around line 7500.

If you need any further assistance, please contact me through the contact form on my profile page.

Thanks!

When I view the Smashing theme on my smart phone (in the upright position), the slider is left out. Is that what you intended? Is the slider responsive? Thanks so much.

Just about to purchase.

Any chance of this guy getting upgraded to Bootstrap 2.2+?

Cheers!

Hi nice template, congratulations.

Any plans to include a picture gallery with lightbox to be inserted on any page/post using shortcodes?

Installed the theme and get an error that the Stylesheet is missing. I tried installing from the .zip and I tried uploading smashing-grey to the theme folder of wp-content. Still the same problem. Please advise Thank you

Hi,

Sorry, but this is not a WordPress theme, it’s just a HTML template.

Hi,

Very nice website, very easy to integrate!

I’ve a question about the portfolio part:

I’m ok with the data-filter and also the data-cols but I would like to add a line or a row limitation.

Could you give me the name of this script or help me to find a solution?

Thanks,

Greg.

I think that the solution is in the main.js but it’s compressed… Is it possible to get the uncompressed file?

sflores Purchased

I’ve bought the theme but the slider in the index page contains only three images while the example in Theme Forest contains four images. Could you send me the index page with the other example too, please?
