I just bought the theme and have installed it. When I got to any of the standard menu pages that come with the dummy content, I get errors. Here are some examples:
Contact Page error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_field() in /home/content/56/10470856/html/wp-content/themes/smashing/template-contact.php on line 18
Blog Page error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_field() in /home/content/56/10470856/html/wp-content/themes/smashing/page.php on line 26
Any thoughts?
Although you already fixed the problem, here’s the answer for future reference:
This template depends on the plugin Advanced Custom Fields. Download and install it and the theme should work just fine!

If you look in the folder you got from Themeforest you’ll find a folder called ‘Docs’. Open up index.html in that folder and you’ll find videos on how to do pretty much everything in the theme.
I’m having some weird issues with WP 3.5.1 and this theme, no content shows up in pages, and the footer and drop-down menus are not displaying in pages, only on the home page…any thoughts?

Looks like it could be Advanced Custom Fields’ problem, when I comment out :<?php the_field(‘subtitle’); ?> from the template, it works fine. I’ll look for an update for ACF. Theme is awesome, thanks!

So go there and download the plugin instead.

There was a problem with the license, and it will be again up as soon as it’s resolved.

The only thing I seem can’t get to work now is the Portfolios. Watched your screencast but when I want to setup Portfolio I have a screen to enter some values (not as on your screencast where you select text and pictures to upload)...
Also I saw on your video that you could enter “subtitles” for the page. As I couldn’t find while creating a page may I ask if this is some additional plugin you were using?
You need the plugin Advanced Custom Fields to use the portfolio and subtitles.
