Very Smooth! Perfect and Good Luck Sir!
thank you
Looks good, and it seems to be doing well already! I think this will be a great seller.
I think so too as I’m about to check it out & probably buy!
Oh my god… this is such a perfect design that I got so excited I felt like I was going to vomit. Sounds gross, maybe, but great work! Definitely going to purchase this for my next project.
You my friend, have saved me a good many hours providing a solid starting point for adminstration back-end I’m creating for my small business.
happy that I can help
Very nice job.. I really like it, and already bought it. Thanks a lot !
your welcome
Great Template! I certainly bought it, but I did notice one issue. The side-nav is white entirely. I’ve included a picture, if you include the style changes im sure I can impliment them. http://www.traxproject.org/DEVELOPMENT/SmoothAdmin%20Error.jpg
Hello Game64.
It was actually meant to be this way for the lliquid version with the left side navigation menu.
Please contact me by email and I will send you a zip file containing the modified stylesheet or you can follow the directions below.
First download this image that will go into resources/images http://www.netcoders.net/resources.zip
Then open up style.css and find the follwing css classes and change it to this:
#content { margin: 10px 0 10px 0; padding: 0; min-height: 100%; clear: both; overflow: hidden; background: url("../../resources/images/content_alternate.png") repeat-y 60px 0; } #content #left #menu { margin: 5px 10px 0 70px; padding: 0; clear: both; overflow: hidden; } #content #left #date-picker { margin: 5px 10px 0 70px; padding: 0; clear: both; overflow: hidden; }Thanks so much man. I’ll go ahead and apply this patch.
its simple and clean nice style but im missing action icons (edit , delete, etc)
also after download when i open the file from the rar its looks ok on ie
when i copy it to my folder its fucked on ie8
+ also i dont like the use of absolute positioning
i guss i will need to use only images and recreate the html using 960.gs
im sorry to say but i am disapointed…
Hello rs324.
You can find icons to use for edit and delete at the famfamfam site. http://www.famfamfam.com/lab/icons/silk/
About the absoulte positioning. I did it this way as I provide a fluid and fixed layout version. If I did use the 960 grid system this probably would of been too confusing considering there would of been many more stylesheets to work with then.
I also tested the theme int IE7 , IE8, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome and Opera and I found no problems.
Are you sure when you open it up locally that IE8 is not restricting the use of javascript?
Btw the screenshots where taken in IE8 as it is my default browser.
Hello,
I’m having an issue with the template’s select form items. I’m using asp.net and in a couple places, I use the autopostback feature on the select menu. However, with the styled select menu, autopostback won’t work. If I comment out the “select styling” portion of the smooth.form.js script, it works, but of course I loose the styling. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks, Ryan
Do you have somewhere I can see this in action? I am actually a asp.net developer myself (C#) but I mainly use asp.net mvc.
Thanks, Mike
I don’t, but if you need me to, I could build an example and put it somewhere.
Also make sure you dont have a button anywhere on the page named submit “name=submit” as I know this can cause problems as well.
Ok I did some testing and found that it works in firefox but not in IE.
I also removed all javascript and it still did not work in IE but did in firefox so this makes me think it is not a problem with the select styling but something else with asp.net’s javascript?
I put together an example for you, and it works in the example. So, there’s something in my actual project that’s interfering with it. It works for me in IE.
Ok so it works with the select styling? I don’t why I am getting odd results with the example I built. The auto post back has always been a bit wierd
I am using asp.net 4 and vs 2010 though.
Everything is working in FireFox, just having the issue in IE.
OK, figured it out. It doesn’t work when I use the RequiredFieldValidator control. So, i just have to do that validation on the server side and it works…
Glad to hear you got it working. You could always use some kind of jquery validation for the client side.
Actually, this is the most beautiful admin template I’ve seen so far! I hope it will be easy working with it to fit my needs.
Very nice style, however some things (for me) do not work, (in the demo), like checking all the box’s, it looks good in chrome.
Try open firefox and chrome, you will see difference
Which boxes do you mean? The check boxes for the table?.
I went ahead and tested everything again in firefox and chrome and didn’t notice any difference or any abnormalities.
Also make sure you have javascript enabled in firefox as I know sometimes it gets disabled.
Very nice theme, any chance you can add style for the new autocomplete from the jqueryUI? A style similar to the select box would be great. Thanks again for a great admin theme!
Sure I think I can do this, just give me a couple days.
Thanks, Mike
I have added styling for the jquery auto complete. It is currently waiting to be approved.
That’s awesome, thank you so much!
I’ve been working with this theme tonight and I’m having huge issues with the tabs and other button styles as s soon as I remove the following:
Was taking out the whole chart section…. Boil it down to just removing that and things get really wacky.
I’ve even done this from the stock theme / zip.
Tried Fire / IE / Opera.
Any thoughts?
If you remove the chart you also have to remove the following below in the head section of your page. The reason you lose the button styles when you remove the chart and dont also remove this is because it cannot find the chart anymore and throws a javascript error which in return causes the rest of the javascript to not execute.
Appreciate the quick response…. Why my edit / follow up did not post I’m not sure. After troubleshooting I figured this out on my own.
Awesome admin theme and I’m wrapping a new project around it!
Your work is appreciated!
thank you. very nice it.
Hello, I just bought your template, I really like it. But the screen preview is much wider than the one I´ve just bought
http://themeforest.net/item/smooth-admin/full_screen_preview/101529
how can I make thing as wide as the preview?? Regards, Ignacio
Sorry, eveything was fine, I did not see index-fixed…. I thought the word “fiixed” was meaning “repaired” but I was wrong….
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Just bought your template.
I’m pretty new to all this and didn’t realise that I wouldn’t be able to edit the PSD files with Inkscape. Is there any chance you could release a different format that I could use in Inkscape such as pdf please?
Thank you
soitgoes
I have answered you via email.
Excellent support!
Thank you Mike.
Great design, just bought it to use for my homemade CMS . How can I change the names of the months and days in the little calendar on the left side?
I figured out this one is called through:
but I cannot find this ID anywhere in the JS files?
Update:
Never mind, I found it, its the jquery-ui-1.8.custom.min….
You can find more documentation for the calender/datepicker at the jquery ui website:
http://jqueryui.com/demos/datepicker/
Thanks, Mike
