Hi there – having some problems showing our Twitter feed on my homepage. Not sure why it’s not working! Website is www.deepbluetee.co.uk and the twitter feed is @deepbluetee. As far as I can see my sidebar index widget is configured correctly but no Tweets appear

Twitter has moved to a new API recently and old code doesn’t work any more. Very soon theme will be updated along with Twitter widget. Until that happens, feel free to install any Twitter plugin or take a look at what’s new here: https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/get/statuses/user_timeline
I am having trouble link my logo to the home page. Currently, if the logo is clicked you are re-directed to a page that does not exist. Can can i make it point to the home page instead?

That’s strange! WP creates the link automatically so I’m not sure what might be wrong. You can create a temp Admin account for me and send login details to my private email address. I’ll take a look and provide a “patch” if required.
I am considering using this for an upcoming project and I would like to know if it is possible to keep track and export orders in CSV format?
It is possible to keep track from Orders Overview page, however, export to CSV , XML or any other format is not possible.
Please consider another theme of mine, Lathika JigoShop as it’s far more advanced, uses responsive layout and can easily be extended with many free or commercial plugins (payment gateways, reports, etc.)
Can I still use the order functionality for emailing orders for pricing/quotes instead of making purchases with the Lathika JigoShop template?
I’m not really sure that’s possible. With JigoShop, I know that if you omit product price BUY button will not be visible any more and your shop can be used as catalog only.
Is there anywhere with a list of the database tables created from this plugin? I want to know if it is possible for me to create my own order export from the email orders.
I’m sure there is but definitely not without additional programming. You should maybe check some articles on how to generate PDF with PHP or how to “export” database to CSV or XML .

I’m 100% sure that there is some javascript error on page in code that gets executed before e-commerce part. Whenever Browser detects js error any further code execution is stopped.
So … please provide at least URL of your website, I’ll debug and let you now where exactly things take the wrong turn.

This might have been answered already but can’t seem to find.
I created a new product, and on the new item page how do I get the related items scroll bar to show up, which shows up on all the item pages which came with the template.
I also want to add the search function and tags to all the new item product pages that i create as well.
Related products are displayed only in case one or more matching tags (product keywords) are found. So if you use tags to “describe” products and if 2 or more products share one or more tags they will be considered as possibly related.
Using tags is good for grouping products. In that case you gonna use only isolated tags that are specific for certain group of products.
As for Search, not really sure what you are up to but essentially you are dealing with WordPress standard search.

OK, I think there’s a problem with current version of Colorbox plugin. You are using version 4.0 which is insufficient. From Dashboard select
Plugins > Installed Plugins
...find Colorbox on the list of installed plugins and update automatically. It should everything be all right after successful upgrade.
Feeleep, can you tell me, can I change my website icon that placed near web adress?
Yes you can. You will need your own 16×16px “favicon.ico” (beware, it’s an ”.ico” file type, don’t just rename the extension of PNG , JPEG or GIF file). Once you have it, upload to “images” folder on server (FTP client will be needed) and confirm overwrite of existing one.
Hit browser’s refresh button a couple of times in order to make new favicon visible.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the header gradient to pure white. Scoured through all the CSS files too. ALSO , I know this maybe a pain in the ass and I may end up being that guy that asks too many questions, if I wanted to add another field, next to price…stock…a custom field, without getting a GUI out of it I’m content with pure code, would this be this hard? Thinking just another div li ? The extra table would have no value to carry over to checkout and preferably read ROW or whatever">SQL but I wouldn’t mind hard coding into each product page manually. Seems I am getting too deep into customization. The solid white header is a must though.

Now, regarding the other half…
I’m really not clear enough what that extra field is going to be used for … you wrote that no value needs to be carried over (to PayPal and back) nor written to database which doesn’t justify the purpose. I mean it’s useless.
However if you insist on something like that – it’s relatively easy. Open “single-product.php”, scroll down to lines #101 thru #132 and see how product meta data is inserted to page. You just have to find the way to insert an extra table cell.
But if your new extra field needs to collect information (starting with product add/edit screen) then things are getting far more complicated. I guess I might spend a day on typing.
Seems I have answered my own question, header_bg, simple enough; however I was confused because upon opening in my photo editor the background showed transparent oddly enough. Problem solved.

Hi guys, I bought the template a couple of weeks ago and I am very happy despite having no WP experience nor CSS skills. Which might make these questions somewhat newbie’ish – sorry for that.
With our site planetbasketball.de, I face four issues:
1) Novo sliders: I entered 2 images which are rotating. I fixed a line in the header-php which made is possible to link from these two images. However both images now link to the same landing page (URL for the first image, the other image was supposed to link somewhere else). Also, the subtitles load in a different rhythm from the pictures, the “next” and “previous” buttons don’t seem to work, nor do the two buttons up top (“1, 2”). I assume I am doing something wrong here?
2) Is there a way to customize the tax deducted at checkout? In Germany you pay 19% for most goods (e.g. shirts), yet 7% for books. We sell both. Also in Germany prices are generally shown incl. tax. I noticed on the order overview that the system ads the tax on top of the price I enter for the products. So I would need to enter prices excl. tax, which would confuse our customers.
3) Wit Poedit, I tried to localize the themes, uploaded the file, but the buttons are still in English. I was afraid to overwrite the DE_de.po file which already existed, and which belongs to Wordpress to localize the software into German. On my domain, there are several folders (wp-admin, wp-content, wp-somethingelse) and one folder which I entered in setting up WP. I assume this is the folder where the .po file should go?
4) Lastly, can I set up the shop for “free shipping for all orders exceeding XY Euros?”

1) yes, I guess your fix messed up something
2) Yeap, if multiple taxes exist you will have to calc it into product price, there’s no other method to handle multiple taxes
3) DE_de.mo is not the same as de_DE.mo which is a proper locale shortcut of German language! Beware, you ain’t dealing with .PO files at all. You will need .MO to be copied to theme’s root folder.
4) That’s what I could handle for you but only if your theme copy is legal

I’m afraid that you will have to find the way to recover password here at Themeforest and then write back. Simply use “forgotten password” a the login screen. I guess that’s the only way to receive proper support from my side.

OK, that’s great. My friendly advice is to create a temp Admin account for me and send login credentials to my private email address.
I’ll take a look at what you did and how you did it then let you know what was wrong.
As for setting up “free shipping above” feature I’ll need to make a couple of changes in code and add several new options. It might take some time to process due to already pending user requests in queue – usually 2-3 days so please be patient for a while. Will keep you posted.

1) slider background color:
- open “style.css”, line #184
- change background-color property of ”#lighter” from #111111 to whatever fits your needs
2) slider pagination:
- open “style.css”, line #193
- change background-color property of ”.nivo-controlNav” from #000000 to whatever fits your needs

I’m not sure I understood the question entirely…stock inventory can be disabled from theme options page while product variations already are presented in table. You can have as many variations as needed.
product variations appear in like a pricing chart with horizontal and verticle labels. were a printing company and have a lot of price affecting and nonprice affecting variations
Unfortunately that’s not how things work by default. Demo site showcases what’s possible, anything else needs to be coded out additionally.
HI, i have tried to change the sofa_suppastore.po to my own language, but i see no changes on the page?
“sofa_suppastore.po” is localization blueprint. It has no effect on theme translation at all. Once you translate all the phrases, save “sofa_suppastore.po” as your locale (for example, Dutch would be nl_NL.po). By saving new file, POEdit app automatically creates ”.mo” file that should be copied to theme’s root folder. For example, if you saved your file as “nl_NL.po”, in the same location/folder “nl_NL.mo” is to be found. Use FTP client to transfer ”.mo” to theme’s root folder on server.
But it looks as if “Buy now” cannot be changed.. Everything else works fine.
Ok, thanks now I found the problem. In taxonomy you typed “Buy Now” with capital N, in the .po file its “Buy now” with a small “n”, its case sensitive
Hi – great template! I’m trying to reduce the height of the slider. I was able to do this in the .css files but there is some inline css referencing the original height – 350px. Can you tell me where I can find this inline css?

Are you sure that there are some inline styles relating to slider? It should be fine if you just change it in CSS …
Open “style.css”, line #187: ...change height property to whatever fit your needs and save. That should change slider height permanently. Be sure to upload slide images of the same height.Prob 1 #404 error (yes I changed the permalinks)
I read through several pages of comments to find the fix and I am noticing ALOT of people having the same 404 error ~ problem after uploading the dummy data. Even after reading the instructions and changing the permalinks.
Is there something that is in the dummy data that can be changed or posted to stop people from having this problem. The shopping functionality is the major reason people are buying this theme and for it not to work seemlessly out the box is very frustrating and discouraging for newbies.

I would add the suggestion of making the dummy data EXACTLY like the demo rather than only putting part of the information in there and having a bunch of people come back and ask you how to do it.
It would save you a heck of a lot of support time.
Prob #3 Some images are missing from dummy data or at least they are not being found.

No, there is no ZIP containing all of product images. But even if it does – it won’t work if you extract them all to WP’s “uploads” folder. Images MUST be imported thru Media Manager otherwise all of them will end up as unattached to the corresponding post, page or custom post type.
How do you mean that SEPARATOR shortcode is not working? Is there any error when applied?

My question is about meta tags for products. I can’t seem to find a plug-in that will allow me to edit meta data (title, descrp, keywords) for each individual product. I usually use All-in-one SEO Pack, but this only works for pages and posts. Suggestions?
