Where do you change the target date for the countdown?
core.js. See the countdown widget.
Look for “launchTime = new Date(); // Set launch: [year], [month], [day], [hour]”
So change this to:
launchTime = [2012], [10], [6], [18];
This will set the countdown time to the 18th hour of tthe 6th of October, 2012.
How would i install this in WP?
Upload to your WP theme directory and edit the index file, changing the URL path to the styleseheet and javascript files to your themes file path.
Is there a documentation file included? or only some info in the source?
Documentation is included.
Thanks for this great design. I’m having a problem adding a target date to the countdown.
I’ve modified the “launchTime = new Date(); // Set launch: [year], [month], [day], [hour]...” to “launchTime = [2012], [10], [6], [18];” but the countdown is missing from the index.php now.
Any suggestions?
launchTime = new Date([2012], [10], [6], [18]);
It looks like the month data item starts at 0. So for your example above setting the month to 10 actually sets it to November. Is this correct?
I tried setting the date to today: launchTime = new Date([2012], [8], [24], [1]);
... and the countdown says 30 days remaining.
Hi Sbachell,
Sorry for the long response. Was away on holiday.
If you change the month from [8] to [7] the problem is fixed. You can see documentation at: http://keith-wood.name/countdown.html
how do I add the twitter so it loads my tweets? I went into the js file and changed null to my username, but when I do that it just makes the countdown dissappear
Change the twitter variable in core.js. Towards the top of the page.
Nevermind, Found it
Bah. Replied to it anyways.

Hi
I would love to buy this theme but is there a possibility to convert the countdown to actual date alive.
I mean I want just the landing page to show how many days,weeks,etc the page is been online
Let me know if that is possible and how, I would love to buy the theme

Hello. I love this page. I would love to use it as a maintenance page. How can I do? What plugin do you suggest to make it use well?
Thanks
It’s not integrated into WP but you can run it side-by-side. Just simply upload the files and magic.
Sorry, I was dealing with Wordpress plugins!
