Is this beginner friendly? I’m scared to buy it, and end up not knowing what to do.

I am looking at the Live Preview but can’t find a place where people can register to have an account.
I see “My Account” link in the bottom but that takes you to login page.
1. I am hoping there is a place where people can register… right???

Registration is integrated into WooCommerce as part of the checkout customer journey
see the “Create an Account” option on the checkout when you have something in your cart.
Also, there is a “Log In” option in the top header aswell.
This approach of asking people to optionally create an account as part of the checkout process is shown to convert customers best.

Hi there. Just one question. Is this theme compatible with the plugin “Product Bundles”, developed for WooCommerce by SomewhereWarm? If it’s not, is it possible to create bundle products in any different way?

Hi! Icant get the dropdown menu to work proberly, do you have any solution for this? When i add it to my primary sidebar, only the heading will show, i do have pages in the menu, and Ive selected the correct menu in the widget settings. The pages also have information and text on them. Any tips?

You can easily set ti autoplay though as follows:

The Twitter widget is still working
if it’s stopped working for you it’s most likely a plugin/js conflict. Have you changed something on your site recently? Try rolling back to see if it brings the the twitter widget.
thanks for your prompt reply as far as I know twitter is changing the API and they said that the trick will works until March 2013. So I have checked your demo before posting here and even your wasn’t loading the twitts…I tried to fix the problem my self but unfortunately I’m not an expert coder.

Thanks for getting in touch! Yes it’s possible. You would need to know how to customise the theme using CSS – but it wouldn’t be that difficult.
Ok So I can’t seem to figure out why money isn’t going into my paypal acct? the email is correct in the paypal tab under settings but my acct it’s not showing up there? I have orders pending. Do they need to go to a next stage before it shows up in my paypal? I know this may seem super simple.

It sounds like your paypal setup is not working 100% correctly. My advice would be to setup a sandbox account and test all the different payment scenarios which sandbox paypal accounts. You can also post on the WooCommerce community forums aswell as that is more a core WooCommerce topic than a theme topic.

URGENT: we have a live store that we created using sooperstore. (swishsuits.com). There’s a show stopping bug that occurs on the checkout page when a user tries to make a purchase.
Basically the credit card & shipping options get replaced by the entire home page. It’s the strangest thing. I’ve tried turning off nearly all my plugins to no avail.

The other weird thing is that it doesn’t happen when I’m logged in as an admin. I can complete an entire purchase then. But if I show up as just a regular user – the bug rears its head.

That is a very unusual error indeed.
I took a quick look at your site (great job customizing the theme!).
I’m not seeing the issue at the moment myself when I get to the checkout page.
Have you ruled out an issue with your payment gateway and/or your server configuration?
Things to try:
1.) Fresh WP and WooCommerce install – ensure your server meets the WooCommerce minimum requirements. Complete the setup of the default SooperStore theme without your modifications.
2.) Complete a test order with the one of the default core WooCommerce payment extensions.
3.) Next, apply your theme customizations – re-test a transaction.
4.) Next, activate your payment gateway – re-test a transaction.
At some point in your test environment you should see the problem re-create itself. I have not had any other customers report this issue so I’m pretty confident it’s not a theme issue but rather some combination of server/environment and the payment gateway/ssl setup.
I will help in any way I can to pinpoint the source of the issue.

Please go here then click the first product on the homepage – Bold Italian Espresso. How come the default “From” price is 28.75, not 9.95 (the lowest 1lb option? its showing the 5lb option). Do you know how to fix this?

If so its either a WooCommerce bug or you need to make sure that your server meets the WooCommerce min server requirements.

Am looking to purchase (love the presentation and functionality) but don’t want the Cart and Checkout on this install – jusy want a Product Catalogue that still features extras such as sizes, colors, etc but no Add to Cart button. Lots of my users are using the theme in this way – it’s possible with some basic tweaks to the css – there’s some existing comment threads about it aswell – I think it will work well for your purposes.
I purchased the sooperstore theme in September last year. I think it’s a great theme, but I have come across a problem….
Many of my customers are saying they can’t see the website properly…ie images, and text when they are trying to look at the product range. I can view it all perfectly and have had no problems on any of the computers I have viewed the website on – however, it is clearly affecting some peoples viewing when they can usually view other websites of this nature…How can I resolve this problem – Clearly, it isn’t any god if my customers are unable to view the entire product range on their computers and it must be unusual for them or they would know it was their system error?
NB: My developer added a wholesale registration plug in which I think I should tell you in case this has anything to do with it;s optimization.
I would really appreciate your help on this…I am not an expert programmer, but I can use wordpress pretty ok!

and report back the details. If they are using older versions of Internet explorer then this might explain the issue.

If I send this page (from support details) how do they use it? or should I say check what they are viewing the website in?
Most of my customers are probably not that computer literate! Are you implying that they will have this problem with other sites…because that was NOT my impression….
Is there no way of being able to prompt people to ensure they have the latest downloads of software? I mean, is this a common problem for all new websites or just sooperstore?...what if people simply leave your site and don’t bother to tell you they can’t view it? Apologies for a million questions, but it’s kind of important if your customers tend to visit your site and you have approximately 30 seconds to make an impact!

This website allows you to obtain from your users what browser version they are using. If the user sends you back the information contained on that page it will help pinpoint what the source of the issue they are experiencing is. The most important information is:
You cannot control what versions of software are installed on a persons computer. Most themes built nowadays are built using modern web standards which don’t always work very well on older computers and browsers. This is a common problem for all websites. For example, youtube.com doesn’t even work on Internet Explorer 6 and 7 any more – it is too costly to support these browsers now.

I am interested in your Sooperstore WPtheme and have a couple of questions. We are already running an older WPtheme SOFA Shoppr and need to move to an updated ecommerce theme.
Are users able to upload a background image or add a logo to the top banner ?
Is the shopping cart able to provide multiple custom fields for one item (size/color/price) so that one item may have 2 different prices depending on its size ?

Re: bg image and logo – yes both are possible The logo is done via the Theme Admin Options – the bg image is one simple image change.
Re: cart product variations – yes different variations in price are possible based on any criteria you define (e.g. size, color etc.)

We’ve already updated some of our other WooCommerce themes and are rolling out updates on a rolling basis.

Yes! The theme was updated a couple of weeks ago. Apologies if you didn’t get the notification – themeforest have an option to notify customers which I selected when releasing the update – perhaps you didn’t get it.
You just need to re-download it and upload the theme via ftp.
I would recommend backing up your live theme first and I would also recommend doing it initially on a dev/staging version.

Yes – I’ve already submitted an update to the themeforest approval queue for WooCommerce 2.0 which should be live within the next few hours.
I also have problems with the update of the woocommerce. Have you posted the update of this theme? Is it available for download?
Yes the update went live earlier this week.
If you download the theme again you will get the update. My advice is to first backup your live environment before you update.
Also the easiest way to apply the theme update is to upload the files via ftp.
When the new version of WooCommerce was released, there was a problem with the intergration of sooperstore. Ive heard there is a new version og sooperstore, which is compatible with the new Woocommerce, but where can I download it? Ive tried to download it from my purchase site, but I only get 1.0 version. And your tips dident help.
the version available for download from themeforest is the most up to date version.
The changelog provided with the theme should also confirm this.

I am contemplating buying this theme for a customer. His main requirement is to have weight-based shipping. In other words, the shipping cost would be based on the weight of the item. Would this template be able to do this?
