Great theme, however for some reason the slider isn’t appearing on the home page… I have uploaded at least 2 photos and ticked the box on the theme settings.

The Slider will only work on the page that is using the “home” template. Please make sure you are following all the instructions in the documentation on how to set up the homepage (especially step 6!)

Yeah, same thing happened on my demo page. You are probably using one of the first versions of Soundboard. In the last update of Soundboard (v.1.05) I’ve included a newer version of the twitter API in the twitter-widget file.
Please download the newest version of Soundboard from ThemeForest and upload it to your WordPress installation. If you have made a lot of changes to the theme files, only upload the file includes/widgets/widget-twitter.php.

There are no problems with the Soundboard demo site in Chrome… did you maybe activate a plugin that is causing this issue? If you can’t get rid of this problem by deactivating your plugins, please send me a link via the user contact form on my profile page and I’ll take a look.

In order to open up the Ticket link in a new window you would have to modify template-tourdates.php.
in line 108 simply replace

.This will not affect the tour dates widget. If you want the same changes for the tour dates widget, you will have to change the same code in the file includes/widgets/widget-tourdates.php.
Hi, Great theme. Newbie to css here, can you help me? I’d like to make the homepage area below the slider only two columns. At present I have widgets in the Sidebar Home Right displaying a video and tour dates, on the left are recent posts. Can you help me make the right side widget area complete the width of the page? What code should i put into the custom css so the two columns fill the width of the content area?

You can make the right widget area wider by putting the following code into Theme Options > General > Custom CSS , but it will probably mess up the layout of some widgets.
For the left widget area use

A few more questions:
1) How can i make my gallery display as 3 rows of 4 images? 2) Can I set the default page height for all pages to be the size of my background image. I am using the stretch option and while the image resizes according to the size of the browser window, the page elements contract to the size of the content are, i.e. if I have two rows of images in a gallery, the page height shrinks. I would like to fix the height to a size that would work with a nice background image. 3) Can I add an image to the tour dates page? I tried adding it to the tour page, but no image appears when I click the tour page, only the dates and date info.

1. As for the right column on the homepage, try tweaking the width of #homew3.. maybe use a width of 640.. try a few numbers until it fits.
2. In order to remove the “time ago” date.. that depends on where you want to remove it. If you are talking about the news widget, you would have to remove it in the file includes/widgets/widget-news.php, line 61.
3. The comments section unfortunately does not have a search function.
4. Changing the size of gallery images would require a good amount of customization work. If you don’t have any knowledge in PHP ,CSS you would have to hire a developer for that.
5. Page height: I’m not sure I can follow you. Maybe you can get in touch via the user contact form on my profile page and send me a link to your site and/or maybe a screenshot of what you like to achieve.
6. Did you just want to add images above the tour dates? An update for Soundboard will be available within the next week. One of the things I added is, that content that is placed within the editor of the page that is using the tour dates template, will get displayed above the tour dates.

Use the fullwidh template instead (Edit your page and choose fullwidth on the right side under “Template”)

nochmal vermona hier. Ich überlege, das Theme noch ein zweites Mal für eine andere Website (mit shop) zu kaufen. Ich habe aber festgestellt, dass unter dem Theme das „wpshopgermany“ plugin in der aktuellen Version 3.0.2 nicht richtig läuft. Bei Paypal Zahlungen wird unter Soundboard kein Downloadlink verschickt. Unter twenty eleven funktioniert das. Vielleicht kennst Du ja zufällig das Plugin und Dir fällt auf die schnelle ein, wie man es unter Soundboard zum Laufen bringen könnte. Gibt ja manchmal Zufälle. Das wäre super. Ansonsten müsste ich das Plugin downgraden (Version 2.5.7 lief noch). Diese Version hat aber andere Macken…

Ja, hab ich. Wenn’s auf dem WP Standard Theme läuft, ist man dort aber sehr schnell dabei, den schwarzen Peter pauschal weiterzugeben… Aber vielen Dank trotzdem für Rückmeldung!

2. If you are talking about the menu, you can change it in Appearance > Menus (more info on that you can also find in the documentation).
3. The galleries are ordered by post date. If you edit a gallery item, in the top right corner you can edit the publish date.

Yeah this is possible. Open up the file fff90.png (placed in the folder /images) in Photoshop or any other image editing program and add more transparency to it. (Right now this is an image with the color #fff and 90 % transparency).

Hey red-sun. Fantastic theme. The documentation is clear and spot on. I was hoping you could help me with 2 things I can’t seem to get a handle on.
1) I would like to make the album thumbnails on the catalog page larger. Right now I see it’s defaulting to 140×140. I’d like to double that to 280×280.
2) My news pages aren’t displaying any sidebars. How do I get that setup?

1) This would require a good amount of customization work, since you would have to adjust the “mosaic box” caption overlay of the album thumbnails too…
