Here are the problems I am having:

SOCIAL MEDIA ICONS

1. I want them to open in a “_blank” target. Where do I go to change that code?

BACKGROUND SLIDER

1. If I set it to only rotate on the index page, how do I get it to randomize the still background on the other various pages? Is that in the java code? If so, where and what code would I need to put in to make it do that feature?

GALLERY

1. I want the icon to be a magnifying glass not clipboard over the gallery category image.

2. Once I enter under a particular gal, when I go to the top “category” drop down and select “ALL” it takes me to some random page. I have it set to go to the main gallery page in the theme settings “gallery” section, but it is not going there as you can see when you try the drop down.

3. In the individual gallery view, how do I get the individual gallery to show 2 images instead of 3 across, as in the category view?

4. In some of the individual galleries, (i.e. “SHOWROOM”) the bottom 2 images are large and 2 across instead of 3 across. That is the way I would like the gallery to look, but why did it do that anyway set 2 different view types on that gallery and not any others?

Hi,

1. Change it in your header.php file
2. Background slider codes found here: bg-slider.php
3. Just overwrite the image link.png found in img/ folder
4. Try clearing your browser cache..
5. You can change it in theme options under gallery option..
6. You dont need to click the insert to post because it will create new images..

My website is in english and french, there are many things I don’t seem to be able to translate. Let me “rephrase”... Question is not where to put it but how. Im using this theme but im having a problem with the fonts because when apear diferent caracteres like (Ç â Ã) it look in bold.

because you disable the responsive effect of your site.. here “Appearance >> Theme Options >> General >> Responsive Layout” you need to uncheck it..

Hi, I have a follow up questions to my previous one.

Contact page – i was able to get the format however i cannot delete the bottom where it says “contact” and “info.inspiredrs.com” (please see link—http://www.inspiredrs.com/contact/ )

Facebook link – i am unable to connect to facebook – everytime i click it shows up as “page not available” – i’ve searched on FB and i can see my page appear, please let me know what i need to adjust

2. I have no idea on that, source theme is only getting your FB link and this issue is on facebook itself.. try checking the correct spelling (case sensitivity) of your facebook link..

I have one more question about the gallery. I was able to add all the categories and upload pictures. I would like to have the magnifying glass come up and when you click have the image only increase slightly (not open a whole new page) with the scroll through features as shown in your theme trial version. How do i go about having the same functionality, it’s not described in the source user guide.

Gallery – I was able to upload a bunch of photos but once i select the category in the “gallery” page on the top right it only shows one image with a clipboard. Only if you click on that image it redirects to the gallery.

when you click on category along link: http://www.inspiredrs.com/gallery-category/tiny-globe/

that is correct.. when you go to gallery page all you see first are the ALBUMS and once you click on the album you will see all the images of a specific album..

That does not really answer my question. I understand that on the main gallery page you only see the thumbnail and once you click you can see the album. What my question is what I can’t see the album when I click through the category drop down and select the name of the album. Please see my previous message with links included. Thanks

Once on the “gallery” page if you click on the black “categories” button on the top right and select the second category only one image shows up, then you have to click it to get re-routed to another page that have all the images.

The only way you can get directly to the album page with one click is if you are on the main “gallery” page. It does not work by scrolling through the categories.

I have created three categories (ie albums) and i have uploaded about 10 pictures to the second album in the category list. If i click on the category drop down only one image shows up and then i have to click on it again to see the album details.

How do i ensure that when i click on the “featured image” on the main gallery page and when i select the album name from category dropdown i get to the same page?

Hi,

i think your missing a point here.. the theme works like this.. in your gallery page you only have 3 albums and each of those albums belongs to a certain category.. if you click on any category of course u will only see the album belongs to that category.. and when u click on album u will see all the images inside of that album..

Yep, you’re right, my fault. Anyway, it seems the theme is limited on the way galleries can be displayed. Why can’t I limit the galleries displayed on a gallery-page? I’d say it’s not that difficult to include a CATEGORY field and include this in the query, but if I buy the Theme I’d expect I don’t have to get into the code to do this. Please think on that very useful and desired usecase… In case there’s any way to achieve this, any guidance would be appreciated.
