Is there special permissions required for the Sidebar Manager? I click Add New Sidebar but nothing happens.
There is none. It’s probably a jQuery plugin conflict. Please try deactivating all of your plugins and test it again.
I have detected another issue. In theme options menu, I have checked “Filtering Menu – Uncheck to disable the portfolio filtering menu”. I want to show it, the filtering menu but it doesn’t show.
Could you tell me what is happening? I don’t understand why it happens.
I have 4 photos in 4 different categories.
1. Thank you so much for pointing this out, I must have uploaded an old part of code in the latest theme update. I’ve just uploaded an updated theme files into the review queue. They should be available for download in a couple of hours.
2. That option must be checked and you must also select which portfolio categories should be displayed on your portfolio (when creating/editing the portfolio PAGE itself).
PS. Please don’t forget about the “Reply” button so we can keep things a bit more organized here.
The theme update with a favicon fix is now available for download.
Thank you Tauris but, what is the best way to update the theme? I wouldn’t like to lost my work… hehe
All I have to do is overwrite the existing spacing folder with the new one?
That’s exactly what you need to do. I’ve actually updated just the header.php file so it will be enough to replace that one file.
All the best,
Flxed Filip!! now it works
That’s great to hear! I’m glad I could help.
Only here to thank you again for a great build. Using it, loving it, and really appreciate the tremendous work you did here.
And thank you for the kind words, I truly appreciate it! I’m really glad that you are satisfied with the purchase.
I have other issue. I’ll try to explain what is happening:
I downloaded a plugin (contact form 7) to redirect to other page when I click on send button.
TypeError: jQuery(...).position(...) is undefined @ http://www.mydomain.com/wp-content/themes/spacing/js/navigation-border.js?ver=3.5:20
If I comment this file it works but could be dangerous because I don’t know what is it.
Any idea? If you need more information or something else tell me.
This issue occurs because the page you are testing the Contact Form 7 on is probably not included in the website navigation menu. Am I right? If so then try adding it and test it again. If it still doesn’t work then please send me your WP login information through my Profile Page and I’ll debug it for you.
Fixed!!!!!! Thank you so much. You are the best one
You are very welcome!
And please don’t forget to rate the theme, I’d truly appreciate it.
I have a small problem with breadcrumbs.
At the horizontal bar after the tagline where the page’s path is shown, the only thing I see is the title of the current page. No home icon, no dividers.
Thank you for the kind words.
And the problem comes from the theme location on your server/host. You have uploaded a whole spacing_package.zip there (including Theme Documentation, readme files etc) instead of just the spacing.zip one which causes the error. Please move the theme files to a location like: /wp-content/themes/spacing/ .
PS. And please don’t forget to rate the theme via the Downloads tab of your ThemeForest account, I’d truly appreciate it.
I double checked the location of the theme’s files (as I was pretty sure that I uploaded only the spacing.zip) and I confirmed their location in my server: public_html/wp-content/themes/spacing.
Some way the style.css file calls for a breadcrumb image under this address: http://sxetizesthai.gr/wp-content/.Trash/sxetizesthai.gr/themeforest-2594249-spacing-responsive-minimal-bold-wp-theme/spacing/img/bread-arrow.png
Did you move the theme installation in the past?
Yes. It was originally installed in an other server’s location and I moved it here. Do you have any suggestion to fix it?
The site was probably not imported/exported properly. Did you change the website URL in the Settings / General menu? If yes then I’d suggest you to follow some good tutorial about moving WordPress and follow each step carefully (especially the URL/path parts).
OK, problem solved. Thank you.
I would like to have the disclaimer text in one of the footer widgets on the website – see www.skiendziulesq.com, however, I do not need 4 footer widget columns. I tried to get rid of the other 3, but it doesn’t seem to work, and now my disclaimer text is listed in one column and it looks really tacky.
Please open the footer.php file and replace these lines:
Now there will be only Footer Column 1 widgets displayed in full width.
PS. Please don’t forget to rate the theme in your Downloads tab! I’d truly appreciate it.
Now I’m havin som trouble with the menu. I have a menu with a submenu that works great, but when I add a ’’childmenu’’ (under a submenu) I get a gap between the sub and the child. That results in that I can’t reach the child, since it disappears due to the gap.
Please send me a private message through my Profile Page and I’ll provide you a little CSS modification that will fix it.
Great help once again!
I want my footer to just have a disclaimer and the Copyright text but when I input it, it’s like, cut off to half of the page – I don’t want columns, social widgets, none of that – how do I make it plain text to just stretch across like the rest of the website?
I’ve replied your previous comment.
Great product thanks!
And thank you for the kind words, I truly appreciate it!
Now I get this error too. This theme is broken. Stylesheet is not readable.
Please reupload the original theme files into your server/host to fix the errors and then follow the steps I’ve posted few comments above as a reply to your previous post.
I think than some parts of translate option doesn’t work correctly. For example if I change the last option “select page” with other words it doesn’t appear on my page.
Could you take a look please?
Thank you very much.
And thank you so much for pointing this out! I must have accidentaly include an old part of the header.php file. I’ve just uploaded a theme update into the review queue. It should be available in a couple of hours.
Voted with 5 starts. Nice work!
p.s. I have the same problem with Portfolios translation. At least with “Related Work” and “View Portfolio” options.
Please make sure that you’ve got the latest theme files. Those phrases should be located in the Theme Options / Portfolio menu.
I’ve got the latest theme files. Only the first and second option works (“Filter” and “Show All”). Third and fourth options doesn’t work (“Related Work” and “View Portfolio”).
So they are there but they just don’t work?
Oh, you are so right. I must have sent an old part code by an accident in the latest theme update. I’ve just uploaded an updated theme files to a review queue. They should be available for download in a couple of hours.
I have a problem here.
I visited the website from an iPhone and when I tap on select page I get an empty list. No pages…
Can you please have a look?
Visit the Appearance / Menus tab and assign your custom menu to the “Navigation”.
What is the proper method (step by step would be nice) to upgrade this theme to 3.5?
The site that I use this theme on is live.
If you’ve already installed the WordPress 3.5 upgrade, just redownload the theme files from ThemeForest and upload them to your host/server replacing the old ones. None of your Theme Options settings will be replaced.
Hello, recently my website has been displaying the below two lines of text on the home page:

Any ideas how to fix it please?
It’s not a theme issue. When exactly did it start to happen? Did you install any plugins?
I worked out it was a plugin causing the problem, and Ive managed to fix it. Thanks for your reply.
I’ve purchased your theme and want to get the same footer as you have in the live preview here: http://themeforest.net/item/spacing-responsive-minimal-bold-wp-theme/full_screen_preview/2594249
According to documentation it should be done by “Footer’ tab of the ‘Theme Options’ is a place to control all the footer settings.”. However I only see “Footer color scheme” in the theme admin – see the screenshot. Will you please tell me how to enable and edit the footer you have in live preview?
You probably mean the Footer Widget Area with Flickr photos and Tweets, am I right? If so then please visit the Appearance / Widgets menu and drag some widgets into the Footer 1-4 Columns.
It seems this theme in particular is breaking several plugins (mainly I need to get date picker with gravity forms working).
The pop-up calendar works if I revert back to default theme, any ideas what may be breaking these?
That’s truly odd because theme scripts use a jQuery noConflict mode. Could you please send me your WP login information so I can take a closer look at the issue?
Great Filip sent via message let me know if you did not receive.
Hi one more thing,
is there a way how to change “portfolio” in URL of portfolio pages? Now is it like http://www.myweb.com/portfolio/porfolio-post and I want it to be http://www.myweb.com/somethingelse/porfolio-post
I’ve already posted a guide for my other theme but the process is exactly the same: http://bit.ly/wOSTFk
Hello, thanks. I’ve done by the instructions from the other theme (first the change in portfolio-functions.php and then rename of single-portfolio.php) and it changed part of permalink URL in “Edit Page” of single portfolio post in Admin to the new “somethingelse”. However the actual portfolio page is still at the /portfolio/page URL and the /somethingelse/page URL gives 404. Do you have any idea how to fix it?
Please update your permalinks: visit the Settings / Permalinks menu, change them to something else, save, and change back to your old settings and save it again.
all working now, thanks for the support!
This is a great theme! Very easy to set things up and make adjustments using the included menus, and Filip is very prompt in answering any questions. Highly recommended.
Is there any reason why the html text in slider doesn’t appear in mobile version?
I mean, the “Slide Caption” option.
I’m really sorry but the mobile version of the slider doesn’t support captions.
