Hi.I have problem with translating your them to russian.I dont uderstand how to connect it to wpml plugin?

There is no need for WPML plugin if your website is going to be only single-langual (russian). You can easily translate all of the phrases via the Theme Options / Translate menu.
However, if you want your website to be multi-langual then just disable the theme translation (in the Theme Options / Translate menu) and then install the WPML plugin.

I re downloaded the theme file, “spacing” from themeforest, unzip the contents and then uploaded those files the server, replacing the previous.
How do I know if my theme has been correctly upgraded to its latest version?
I am a bit concerned because when I go into Dashboard >Apperance > Themes, the version number for spacing still appears to be the same, version 1?
I have login and out of my dashboard and have deactivated and activated spacing template.

I would like to use Posts for the project pages in my portfolio site, but don’t want to have the post date, etc. on the right sidebar. How can I eliminate that column of data to get a clean full width page??

Hello Dan,
First of all – are you still going to have a blog page? If so then it will require a little more modification so the column is not displayed on a portfolio post page while still visible on a single blog post page. If not then it’s going to be easier.

I am obviously doing something wrong with creating image galleries. I was hoping that the recent update to Wordpress 3.5 and template was going to help me.
I have followed the documentation but I am not getting it.
This is what I have done:Portfolio Section (dashboard):
1) Portfolio > Create Portfolio Category > “Portfolio Test”. 2) Portfolio > Create Portfolio Page >“Test Portfolio – Image Gallery” Settings: Image Gallery set to Lightbox, Added in 5 images with “Add Media Button”, Portfolio Categories defined to “Portfolio Test”.Page Section (dashboard):
3) Go to Pages Section 4) Pages > Create Page – “Portfolio Test Page – Image Gallery 1” Settings: Portfolio Category > ””Portfolio Test” Page Attributes Template > Portfolio5) Preview No Image Gallery, not even the text that I’ve entered in the text box area? Help

Please make sure that you have set a Featured Image on your Portfolio Post (“Test Portfolio – Image Gallery”). Thumbnail is based on that specific image.

Yes, that’s the right file!
As for the issue, it could be permalinks side. Please try changing them back to default (Settings / Permalinks) and test it again.

Opacity on hovering is now 0.1999999996 for .portfolio-thumbnail How can I change this to 0.95 ?!

Could you tell me where all of the references for this feature are located… I have someone who tried to remove what he thought it was but couldn’t get it to work. I’m using the portfolio pages for project case studies, and don’t really want to have the picture on tied to the page. I tried to use the posts for case studies, but they have the post date, etc. that I don’t want to have either. Is there anyway you can email me something so we can adjust the code ourselves??

One thing though, your import data has incorrect URLs for the media, e.g. http://localhost/spacing16/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/2932176646_e92a6131fc_b.jpg—and so it fails to import them.
You need to change this import XML to have links to actual images out there on the web, not a localhost
I noticed a few other buyers mention their import didn’t grab the images, and your response was that some hosts aren’t set up right—it’s actually your XML that’s not set up right. Just thought I’d tell you so you can fix it and so that other buyers realise.
Not a major problem of course, because you can create your own, but it might make some buyers think the theme is broken.

It looks like there’s almost 40 media items that fail to import. I was thinking of setting them up myself, but not being familiar with the theme, I wouldn’t really know what’s missing or where to look—it’s impossible to know where an image should be if it’s not there

- For some reason unknown to me the filter in the portfolio page is visable but stopped working (i have very few plugins, so dont think its that).

1. Your theme is outdated. Please redownload the theme files and upload them to your server/host replacing the old ones.
2. You might try installing a SEO plugin. There is plenty of them just pick the one with best rating and opinions.

After you download it from ThemeForest, you will need to use an FTP program like FileZilla and connect to your server using the login information provided by your host (you can also find it in your host configuration panel). After you are connected, look for the /wp-content/themes/ folder and that’s where you upload it.

I have a problem with translations using WPML plugin.The issue is in filtering menu in portfolio.In English version all is fine but in Russian I haven’t found any record in database about cats in russian.So how can i add portfolio filtering menu to another language? Please help.

That’s really odd since portfolio categories are WP custom taxonomies that should be easily translatable. I’d suggest you to check the WPML forums regarding the “custom taxonomies” issue.

I’ve found the problem.The issue is when you input field slug in Russian.Because Russian letters converts to symbols like “ d0%b1%d0%b5%d0%b7-%d0%ba%d0%b0%d1%82%d0%b5%d0%b3 ” and string in element ‘slug’ with varchar(200) in database table wp_terms is long.Then filter not work.Can you fix it?

how do I remove the portfolio part of this theme? I believe it is causing the NextGen gallery pluggin to not work properly. If I deactivate your theme and use the twenty twelve them the plugin works fine. I need the NextGen plugin to work.

Hope all is. Checking back in; still running strong with the theme and still loving it. Hit a small snag a few months ago that I haven’t been able to correct, though. The site where I rely on the lightbox plugin most is crippled. I think updating Jetpack broke it, personally. Updated the theme files last week, hoping that would fix it, and I ended up losing my sidebars and Google ads text boxes. Any CSS fixes you know for me? Every time I click a gallery image, it goes directly to the image file rather than opening the picture in a fancybox.

I get a BLANK white page after activating the theme :(((( Wordpress just stops running. After deleting the theme from server, everything works well… what went wrong?
