Thanks for the reply, I purchased the theme and started playing with it!

Quick question though, I’m assuming since I’m going to use a big image as my background I select the Big Image Background option in the Appearance section. Question though, what if I only want to apply this in the Homepage, does custom background within the page allow me to do that? What exactly are proper dimensions btw for a big image to look nice?

Not sure if it’s related, but the responsive layouts don’t seem to be working for me, either. Not on iPad, not on iPhone anyway.

Also, I think this error might be causing my Shopp e-commerce plugin to fail during checkout.

Hi, I have a little question about the porfolio. I can’t find the way to get the correct path for some of my sections.

I have a porfolio page and I when I preview it it’s allways under Home – About – Gallery, and It should be Home – Porfolio – Gallery.

Where I can change the path for the porfolio galleries / pages? I can’t see anything in the porfolio page….

Hello,

For some reason my nav bar is malfunctioning (I think). When I hover over the pages, it only highlights the words, and no slidebar above them shows. In addition, there is a small gray dot at the anchor of the navbar.

Hi – I’d like to update to the most recent version of the theme. There isn’t a “update” option on the WP themes admin page for Spacing, and when I try to upload the most recent theme .zip file I get any error about duplicate names. Got any hints?

Hey Flip,

Sometimes the navigation turns into this “ghost” like effect, like if if the opacity has been brought down. Just a glitch, or something I can do to fix that?

Also, I’ve removed the logo, and the image background in the theme options, but whenever I make a change, they reappear? I have to go back and remove them after every change.

Lastly, is there anyway the portfolio thumbnail can start off with the dark opacity and title, and when hovered it goes away? Pretty much the opposite of what it is now?

Your recent response helped and I fixed the issue. Thanks for being so quick to respond. However, I have a little “issue.” You see, I’m selling photographs on my website, and am trying to use the portfolio as a gallery for them. I’ve integrated Fotomoto flawlessly and all works well. However, In order to display an image on the post (using standard view), as well as have a feature image so it shows up in the portfolio, I need to either use the image list gallery setting (so that the portrait dimension images show in full) or have both the featured image as well as an image inserted in the post, which means two images on a page— EEK :3. The problem with using the featured image to display is that the print quality won’t be as high because the image is lower resolution.

What I’m asking is, is there anyway to hide the featured image from showing up on the page once you’ve clicked on it, or can I have an inserted image show up as the thumbnail in the portfolio view? I desperately need a cure for this because it is the essence of my website…

As far as the changes go, here’s a scenario:

I’ll remove the logo, or the background image. Hit save changes. I’ll then comeback and change something like, font size or color. The logo will appear and the background image. I have to then go back and remove them.

You’re awesome enough to help out with quick pace, but can you be just a tiny bit as far as where I would modify the code and what part of the code? Thanks

When I click on a Portfolio item, the next page breadcrumb shows Home > Sample Page > Portfolio Item. Why isn’t it Home > Portfolio > Portfolio Item?

I cannot seem to be able to (or not know how to) make the slider appear. Also, when I click on “Homepage” the “Main blocks manager” and “Content blocks manager” do not appear.

I have small issue with loading my own favicon through theme options panel. It doesn’t work for me for some reason. I have tried different settings for 16×16 .png image, the same with .gif. I’ve tried to set it to .ico and keeping the name favicon.ico for my new file. Still icon that came with spacing theme appears after I reload the site. I have also tried to look for the .ico or favicon file in cPanel of spacing theme directory. But couldn’t find one that I might need to replace directly. Would be great if you could help.

Hi, I have a little question about the blog posts and the homepage blog images that the theme are showing.

I added an specific image (small one) for the featured image in a blog to be able to see the image in the homepage blog section.

The problem is that this little image is appearing in the blog post aswell and I don’t want to show this low res image, only the image I added in the image gallery section on the post (the big one)

I use your Purity theme for one of my sites and I like this theme as well. Before I purchase, I have a few quick questions:

1. Is it easy to change the color scheme to a custom color, or is it limited to the ones you’ve pre-selected?

2. Is there any way to make the actual blog post be full width? (The page after you click Read More). I’m a photographer and ideally would like to show bigger images on my blog.

Ah…also. On home page layout # 1 is it possible to leave out Main Features and Testimonials sections? So that all you have is the menu, main image slider, welcome message, our work, our clients, and the footer. Thanks Boss.
