Hi, I need to improve my website ASAP and it’s not working at all. I tried to do as much as I could with the text version but it’s not an option anymore. I need the visual composer to work! Please help me on this. Thanks.

Hi,

As many people have reported, the customised Visual Composer which comes with this theme does NOT work with WP3.9 and you do not seem to have updated it nor addressed these issues.

I tried to replace your customised VC with the original VC (by overwriting the /wpbakery/js_composer folder but this threw up php errors. Is it possible to replace VC with the normal one?

Buyers – until this VC issue is resolved, I would not recommend you purchase this theme.

hello pego, is expected to soon upgrade to version 3.9? I have version 3.6 and I’m afraid of losing the contents updating, since there is not the child theme.

When I created the site you had made for me ??a change to a single image in visual composer (left, center, right) and I’m afraid of losing it.

How can I work? without risking that my site Becomes totally obsolete?

The “any day now” release of a WP 3.9-compatible Sparse theme has become a bit of a joke. Do you have a realistic launch date? This would help purchasers such as myself decide whether to stick around or move to a more responsive vendor.

Hi,

not sure what you mean with the menu problem, can you be a bit more specific? Can you send us an url of the site on our email(use the con act form on our Themeforest profile) or open a support ticket.

“Bad Authentication data” appears if you are using the Twitter widget/shortocde and have not authorised it. Do check the documentation on how to do so. You need to get 4 tokens for it.

Site can no longer use the visual editor once wordpress upgrades to 3.9.1—is there an update coming soon for this? Is there a workaround in the meantime?

Hi there,

Loving the theme, however I’m having one little issue with the blog page. I use pagination to show around 6 posts per page, however the “next” button at the top of the page links to ”/blogpage/2” instead of ”/blog/page/2”.

I tried to look through the code, however I couldn’t find the relative section for this.

Buggy theme. Having some of the same issues as others.

Hide page title option not working.

Options panel is not well done and items could be labeled better.

Hoping for an update soon that will repair some of these issues.

A month ago I wrote to ask for an honest estimate of when your perpetually “coming soon” WP 3.9 update would be launched. You gave me your typical “two week” response. Well imagine my surprise now that another month has gone by with 1) no update as promised, 2) no explanation to your customers as to why the promised update didn’t occur, and 3) no attempt to provide a new launch date. I’m off to find a properly-supported WP theme for my client, as I’m sure many other purchasers are now in the process of doing.

we didnt set a promise date, because some of our staff were on holidays and so we got a big amounth of support stuff. Which we are solving now. Not sure why you would not stick to the supported/compatible versions until then.

OK, I’m not sure I understand why I have to explain this to a developer, but the nature of WordPress is such that the WP core – and themes – are updated regularly in order to: 1. increase security; 2. fix bugs; and 3. add features and functionality. Asking your customers to remain with older versions of WordPress just because you’re incapable of supporting your own themes is extremely poor practice.

And yes. You did create an expectation for an imminent update to WP 3.9. Several times. Read your own threads.

we understand you, but we have more than 10 themes on the market. We cant have the update already prepared once the Wp(4.0) is released. We need some time to check each theme with the outcome version, test all functionalites and make changes if needed.

Also, each theme has the compatible versions signed on the description page, they are there to be followed.

In your documentation you mention that you provide ubermenu -there is even an screenshot. However, there is no trace of the plugin in the zip.

When are we going to get an update with the security patch for the Rev. Slider?

This vulnerability allows attackers to access the servers of all sites using older versions of the Slider Revolution and Showbiz Pro (WordPress) plugins by ThemePunch. The vulnerability exists for all versions of Slider Revolution earlier than version 4.2 (released in February 2014) and all versions of Showbiz Pro (WordPress) earlier than 1.5.3 (released in January 2014).

Since this plugin isn’t free we can’t just updated it through the plugins panel.
