Strange. For me the orange line remains on the screen and the thumbnails are inactive. Both on iPad and Mac (safari and Firefox)
Not sure what you mean about “disable to front end user bar”
go to your wp-admin, from the left menu select users and then uncheck this box for the frontend user bar: http://d.pr/aWuv
Thanks. Problem solved.
Awesome!
Hi, this theme is very good, but I have two problems: 1. Logo: Is there any chance to make it bigger? Currently it has to be around 24-30px tall – its not big enough. 2. If you have quite tall (not wide) images, like 800×1200px (its only a example of proportions), scrolling up &down images doesn`t show the bottom part of image – it looks like tall images in gallery are cropped during panning.
Small update: I just realised, that behaviour from point 2 depends on proportions of the browser window – if it is close to square, it is panning ok, if browser window is in wide configuration (for example, full screen on widescreen), its loosing its ability to show full image.
It has to be like that or the image would skew and look out of shape.
Thanks for fast answer! Well, its black magic for me, but I have few ideas
– maybe there is some way to force scrolling down image to its very end when you reach the bottom of screen with your mouse? Or any chance to crop image a bit on its top and a bit on its bottom (basically, load image with vertical centering)? And what about logo space – any chance to make it bigger/taller?
Edit global.css under the navigation/logo section.
i use the template contact, on my page, but there comes no comments when i log on my wordpress editor? i know that some people have written me a comment.
the page is: geirt.com
maybe you can write something and i can see if it works…
i also wonder how i get music on the page?
Add your email address in the Options Panel.
done, but still don`t work…???
help me, many people have posted me comments and none of them pop up….??
You said contact page, do you mean comments or the contact email?
i mean the contact page, the automatic contact form you have made where you can write your name, your email address and a comment.
http://geirt.com/?page_id=898people have written many comments to me here but it will not show when i log on my wordpress account, it says 0 comments on the dashboard on the front page?
You’ve got it all wrong. The contact form sends emails to the address you specified in the Options Panel, NOT comments.
oh, sorry, i thought the messages supposed to be posted on the contact form page.
is it possible to make a page where people can add comments on you template?
Yes! Each blog post has a comment section.
Hello there, iKreativ! I really enjoyed you theme – it is awesome! But I’ve mentioned one bug – vertical image scrolling works pretty bad in Opera. And the question is – what am I supposed to do with portrait-oriented images? They get scrolled only from the top to the middle and all the bottom half seems to be left below the working area. And, as it was said, it would be great if the previews could be hidden by a click on the image. Thanks!
Link?
And one more question, if you don’t mind. How can I edit the thumbnails shown on the bottom of the screen? For portrait-oriented images they are cropped automatically and often the cropped area contains no useful graphical information.
It automatically crops images to keep them in proportion, same with the thumbnails.
You can open gallery.php and play with these settings: h=120&w=180 for the width and height.
Also try resizing your image before upload. The bigger the image the more will be shown.
So, I can only use portrait-oriented images OR landscape-oriented images in the entire project? Oh, that’s sad
No, but you’d have to resize them to suit.
So, what size should the images be to fit?
It all depends on how you want them to display, keep them square and big and they should look good.
Is Compatible WP 3 .3?
Yes
What’s the maximum size of the photo with which the thumbs resizer can work with?
Only file size matters, upto 10mb
hi, how and where do i post i like button on my page?
Would you clarify what you mean?
facebook post…
a facebook like button, a html code imported from facebook.
Paste the code wherever you want it to appear.
How do I deal with that the font of the header of the contact form does not support Cyrillic symbols?
Change the heading font via the options panel?
Hey. Love the theme. I was wondering if it was possible to have the images auto scale to the hight of the browser window and not the width. This would help to not crop photos and better display portraits. I under stand this would put black bars on the right and left of the image if the browser is scaled passed the width of the photo.
Have any plans of making the thumbnail bar scrollable on the ipad?
Thanks!
Not currently, maybe in a future update.
How do I add a new cufon font to the fonts list in options -> typography? Just adding the file to the folder doesn’t work for it to appear in the list. Thanks!
Add the file to the JS folder and then add it as an option in /admin/theme-options.php
Is it possible to vertically center the images in a full screen gallery?
You could, be that would mean changing the code that that resizes/scales the images significantly.
I will try to update this theme soon with more cropping/scaling options.
