Just bought the theme, default install, but Im getting an “Unresponsive script at catalog/view/theme/Spicylicious/js/jquery.roundabout.min.js:42” error, which freezes the browser. Stopping the script, still continues to run and freeze up again. Uninstalled carousel and slideshow modules, still freezing.
Thoughts?! Exactly what is this script?
Okay uninstalling the FEATURE module fixes the freeze.

I had the same problem. It was due to the featured roundabout being enabled on my site but with no featured items set. Add an item to the site featured and it will work.

Mac 10.6.5/FF 3.6. Yes, I finally realized last night it was due to installing the module in a fresh openCart install with no products. Works fine now.

One of my client wants to have a web shop, I like your Spicylicious template and Iam thinking of buying it for him. First He wants to use this web as a presentation of his products and latter as a eshop. My question is: is it possible to hide all this shopping cards, add to card buttons, and others, that page will look like presentation and not as a web eshop ? Thanks for you answer.

it is possible, but you would need to manually delete (or comment) the code for the cart features) in the system TPL files. There is no option in OpenCart admin to automatically hide them.

I just brought the theme for a client and am running into various problems. Most of them I think I can fix, however this problem with the image size is stumping me

She likes them like that however the theme is not scaling with the size increase of the pictures. What could be causing that? There also not working with that black box that appears around a image when you hover over it.
How do I fix it? She really needs those images to be bigger and for the website to scale with them.

I am afraid what your client wants is not possible with this theme (and probably with no other theme). The image settings are explained in the help file and they just CAN ’T be bigger.
One more thing, the HTML , how do I find the file?. I can’t seem to find the file to edit to make the menu centered (I’m not sure why this isn’t the default).

this is an OpenCart theme and there are no HTML files. Regarding the menu – it is not centered, because that would limit the number of categories that could be used. Also, no one can predict how many categories a user would have, so there is no way to center it for every condition.
Dear Dimitry, is it possible to get one psd file before I purchase this theme. I would like to change it, put some diferent product and show it to my client. Iam bit affraid to show it with other products then he has.

can I use picts instead of text in titles? in czech language we have special characters (like ?) which is not include in Lobster font.

This is the first time i’d be using an OpenCart ecoomerce system i just wanted to check and see if it was possible to do a few things before i bought the theme. I am going to be using the theme so students can order food and have it delivered to them.
1. Is it possible to set delivery times so the customer cannot order between specific periods of time.
2. Is it possible to have a countdown clock in the site that track the time left to make an order?
3. Is it possible to have a place where customers can put a coupon code to get a discount at the checkout?

I am not sure about your first question. Anyway it is not theme related and probably you’ll have a better answer in opencart.com forums.
The countdown clock could be added but it would require some custom modifications. Unfortunately I am not available for freelance work at the moment, but there are many developers available for freelance here or in opencart.com forums.
The coupon codes are a built-in feature for opencart. You could have as many active codes as you wish.

I am using Google Analytic’s for the demo store and everything is OK. Are you sure you pasted the whole code including the tags?In the Settings, System section of the OpenCart 1.5.3 software there is a space for the Analytics code, it doesnt mention anything about wrapping the code ?

This is a fantastic theme and works very well.
I have a question though. I am not clear about how to create ‘banner sets’ as you have mentioned in your instruction for the Li Slider.
When I add a module in the Slideshow module, it displays only one banner – the one that I select from the dropdown. All the banners are enabled though. Could you please advise?

you would need to create a banner set in System>Design>Banners with all images you want to appear in the set. Than you must go to Extensions>Modules>Li Slider Module and create an instance of the module with the banner set you have created. You can check the demo admin and see how things are organized.

When my products are displayed the price is shown in a red grapphic (downward pointing arrow) this graphic is quite big, how do I reduce the size as it’s blocking to much of the product picture?

What specifically do you change to get the logo to size correctly? I was unable to get it to work with the updated files. I am worried that I will accidentally write over my customizations if I update.

There is a changelog file with the changes listed there. You would need to copy the container div#logo and it’s content (link and img tag with fixed size removed).
You would also need to use lines 193-209 of the stylesheet.css with the new styles for the logo container.

with regard to your site you will need to adjust the image/pricetag_small.png in photoshop or something similar.
You could also adjust the h3 size for the theme as your featured items title drop onto 2 lines so the 2nd line is not visible (look at dynmaic duo item)
edit the stylesheet h3 entry: .roundabout-moveable-item div.prod_holder h3 {
change font-size: 28px; to font-size: 21px;
Other than that its looking good.

if you made changes, you can’t just upload a file, because both header.tpl and stylesheet.css was changed. There are also another changes and small fixes described in the changelog file.
