I have a very important question.
It’s about the next page: http://marketingmed.nl/social-media-online-marketing-blog/
You see the blogs dubble because I also have the blogs in the left sidebar. What is the best option to get a proffesional blogoverview on the website.
I hope there is a possibility to have a blogpage with a picture and also a short explenation of the blog
You can mail the answer on: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
Thanks a lot
I’m not sure if I understood your question correctly, could you please explain it (eg. what you want to change).
Also, could you please post your questions using the same account you used to purchase the theme? Thank you very much
Thanks for the quick answer. A old friend of me bought this theme for me so I don’t have that acccount.
I’m not happy with my blogpage on my website. http://marketingmed.nl/social-media-online-marketing-blog/
You see the last articles but in the left sidebar you see the lasts blogs as well. Is there a possibility of not showing the left sidebar blogs on this page? (only on this page)
If your friend has bought for you, you will need to ask your friend to give you access so that we can validate the license, after that I will be glad to help you.
It is really important that you get access to the account so that you can download the latest version of the theme also. I can see that you are using old version, you will need to update it.
hi, i want’to add wp page-navi plug-in to my site but how?
It writes here but in which i can’t do it.
Could you please tell me in which file, which codes do i need to change or add?
<?php wt_pagination(); ?>
For example, on archive.php its around line #50. Similarly look for that in other files too, like category.php, tag.php, author.php, page-blog.php and also in the includes/latest-posts.php.
i chance them all but non of them work.
Do you see the pagination after making the above changes?
If you have removed the wt_pagination function, it would not show any pagination. If you are seeing the pagination, then that is created by your new function. Just make sure that you are saving the changes. There should not be any problem. Try to clear your browser cache.
The theme is great but why is it showing featured images below the post title? how can one turn it off?
Could you kindly post your questions using the same account you used to purchase the theme and I would be glad to help you. Thanks
Love the theme, but found two major issues. Firstly, the second menu (primary menu) is not showing in Chrome or IE, but shows in Firefox. Secondly, in IE, the logo and search box in the header are messed up. I even checked your demo in IE and it’s the same. The logo is way to the left and the search input box and button are on two separate lines. Please advise. Thanks
Thank you very much
Could you kindly post your questions using the same account you used to purchase the theme and I will be glad to help you with all of the issues. Thanks
I wrote to you under my personal account, but you wouldn’t answer me because the purchase was done under my bosses account. So, here I am asking you to please give me an answer to my issues with the theme.
Firstly, the second menu (primary menu) is not showing in Chrome or IE10, but shows in Firefox.
When in responsive mode (in IE10), the top menu shows up as an inline, not dropdown menu and the second menu does not show at all. When in responsive mode in Chrome, neither menu shows at all.
Secondly, in IE10, the logo and search box in the header are messed up. I even checked your theme demo in IE10 and it’s the same. The logo is way to the left and the search input box and button are on two separate lines. The site is located at lisalucania.com/coaste
I need a quick resolution, as I have a deadline on this. Thank you
Thanks for your message again. There should not be such issue, this is most probably being caused by any of your plugin. Have you tried to disable all of your plugins and see if it works? Let me know your URL so that I can also check the menu the logo issue.
Hi, I posted my url above. I do not have any plugins installed yet, so that is not the issue. As I mentioned above, even YOUR theme demo is not displaying properly in IE10.
Here is a screenshot of your demo:
And here is responsive view in chrome. Where are the menus? They are missing.
Please advise. Thank you in advance for your quick attention to this matter.
Thanks for posting the screenshots. I have tested your website and the demo in the Internet Explorer 10 and 11 and Chrome 31.0 and I do not see any problem. I have checked on two different machines.
Please see the screenshot:
Perhaps it could be some of the browser related issue on your computer? Could you test it on some other machine? Let me know about it so that I can help you further.
How do I put widgets in the footer area? When I go to the backend widgets panel, the only sidebars to put widgets in are right and left sidebar. Your feature description states the theme is widget ready in the footer, as does the documentation. Please advise. Thank you in advance for your quick attention to this.
This theme does not have predefined widgets area in the footer as it already have two sidebars. However if you are in absolute need of footer widgets, you can easily define the footer widgets area. It would require some changes in the theme and I can help you with that. If you need to do that, send me an email using the contact form in my profile and I will get back to you.
If this theme does not have predefined widgets in the footer, then you should remove “Widget-ready sidebar and footer” from the theme’s features list. The footer is NOT widget ready, as you have just admitted. Secondly, you need to remove “This theme comes with 19 custom widgets that you can use in your sidebar or footer.” from your documentation guide. Why are you telling people they can put widgets into the footer, when the footer is not widgetized? I appreciate the offer to help me with that, but again, I would be editing core files that will just get over ridden once there’s another update. It would be much better for me and the rest of your customers if you just widgetized the footer and released an update to your theme.
Hi, As I said above that the footer area is not widgetized in this theme as there are already two sidebar areas. Sorry about the text on the description page, I have fix it.
But again, if you want to use the widgets in the footer, I can totally help you with that. I can make changes for you and send you files if you need. Just send me a message through my profile and I will get back to you.
I have another question. I deactivated the them for a brief moment and when I re-activated it, all settings were lost…logo, banners, etc. Is there no way of exporting/importing the settings? It’s a very scary thought that it’s that easy to lose all your settings. With all these issues, I am beginning to think I may have made a mistake buying this theme. Please advise.
When you deactivate the theme, it means you do not want to use it so keeping the settings in the database would just create mess in the database, thats why I added that function to remove the settings after you deactivate. Once you decide to activate the theme again, you can easily set up the options.
Anyway, if you want to keep the settings in the database even after you deactivate, here’s how you can do that:
Open theme-options.php file from the framework/settings folder in the theme directory and look for following line around line #45:
delete_option( 'wt_options' );
Simply comment or remove that line and save changes. Now it will not remove theme settings.
Sorry, but I have used several other themes that do NOT delete the settings when the theme is simply deactivated. When a theme is deleted and then re-installed, then yes, one is to expect to lose the info. You don’t even offer an import/export option. The options are not so “easy” (as you put it) to set up again. It’s actually a pain to put all banner codes, styles and such back the way they were. Instead of asking your customers to edit core files, it would be much nicer to add an import/export option in your theme like the majority of the other themes on Themeforest
In fact removing the theme setting was a feature which I added later only with the intention to keep the user database clean. As I mentioned above, if you do not want to remove the settings, it requires change in only 1 line. I even mentioned the number of the line where you can find that code.
If you do not want to make that change by yourself, I can edit the file and send you. Is there anything else you would want? Let me know and I’m here to help you.
how i can used in arabic site
for EX. http://www.rjeem.com/
You can easily add the RTL support in the theme. Once you have purchased the theme and would need help regarding that, let me know and I will be glad to help you.
I just bought this theme, and after I checked it is not what I was looking for … Is there a way to ask for a refund or teh chance to choose another one.
If you have purchased by mistake, you can contact Envato support. They might be able to help you.
If you need any help regarding this theme, you are welcome to ask me.
Thanks I will
Hello, I like your theme but I would like to know it its possible to switch between some languages, since I need to have it in Spanish and English. Or if you can suggest me some languages plugin that you know that functions.
Thank you very much for your interest. If you want to use the multiple languages, you will need to use some plugin such as WPML. If you will need help to implement such plugin, I will be glad to help you. If you have more questions, let me know.
Thank you very much. Do you know if Qtranslate is ok as well?
This is a standard WordPress theme, so there should not be problem with the plugins. You can check the instructions about using qTranslate and if you would need any help, I would be glad to help you. If you have more questions, let me know.
Where can I check that instructions (about using Qtranslate)?
You can check the plugin official website. There’s some installation information here as well: http://wordpress.org/plugins/qtranslate/
Also you can Google, there are a few tutorials on how to translate using qtranslate. It doesn’t seem to be complicated.
I know Qtranslate. I thought you had some information about qtranslate and your own theme. Never mind. I will manage.
I have not used Qtranslate, but as I said, this is a standard theme, so there should not be any problem using any plugin and if it would need any kind of changes to implement, I will be glad to help you with that.
Template does not display properly on resolution 1024×768
Thank you very much for your interest. The theme displays totally fine in the 1024px resolution. If you are talking about the sidebar below the content which does not expand to the full width of the content, that is because of the arrangements of the widgets in the sidebar.
The sidebar uses the css3 column-count and column-fill to equally distribute the widgets in that media query. Since the first widget in the sidebar has much height compared to the other widgets, the just do not expand to the further area. It will be different if you re-arrange the widgets.
Hope this is clear and if you have further questions, do not hesitate to ask. Thanks.
Contact Form is not working in this theme. can you please help me to fix it…
The contact form requires the reCAPTCHA API keys to work. You can get that from here: http://www.google.com/recaptcha
Once you get the API keys, go to theme options and put the keys there. Then it should work fine. If you need further help regarding this, let me know.
Just looking at your theme as a possibility for a project & noticed the cat-title h4 on the home page demo are cut in half?
Is this something related to my system or is it something you are aware of?
Thank you very much for your interest in my theme. The homepage sections have the fixed width of the the titles. If the title width is more than that, it cuts of to keep the layout perfect. However if you want to change it and want to display the full titles etc., that’s no any problem. Just let me know and I will be glad to help you with that.
HI, is there any way to make this theme mobile and ipad ready?
Thank you for your interest. This is responsive theme, fully mobile and tablets ready. If you wish to change anything in the responsive layout, you can easily change in the media queries.
If you have more questions, let me know
OK, I just purchased the theme and make some adjustments and added some widgets. Then I just checked it from my phone and it looks like crap. Please help
Thanks for purchasing the theme. I will be glad to help you. I have tested the theme on the phone and it works fine. Of course on the small phones there will be difference in the layout, as only the compact layout is displayed. But let me know what kind of changes you wish to have in it and I will be happy to help you with that. You can send me the details by email using the contact form in my profile and I will get back to you.
I have some before-purchase questions. Is this template compatible with WordPress 3.8.1? How often do you update the theme?
Is it possible to ask for some screenshots from the admin panel, and the theme options menu? I had some bad experiences with other themes, and would like to buy a theme that worth my money. Hope you understand it. Are there any options to give categories to pictures?
Oh and I’ve forget to ask something else. Do you plan on adding a bigger footer area to the theme? It would be great if I can add some widgets there. Or any custom codes?
Thanks for your interest. I totally understand your concerns. Yes, this is ready for latest WordPress version. I updated the themes whenever required. If you wish to see the backend options, send me an email using the contact form in my profile and I can get the screenshots for you. The footer does not have widgets, but if you wish to add any kind of code there, it can be easily done by adding the code to the theme file. I can help you with this and any other issue. If you have more questions, let me know
Okay, thanks, I’ll get in contact with you. Does the theme has any event options, or I’ll have to get a third party event plugin?
This is standard WordPress theme, it does not have built in events options, you will need to use any plugin for that.
Hello, I wanted to buy that, but I wanted to translate it to Portuguese, I would translate the files (. And mo. Well), I wonder if translating these files will only translate the site or otherwise translate the admin panel theme ?
to translate the admin panel of the theme for Portuguese I have to translate only the., and mp. powder or have to translate the PHP files too?
Thank you very much for your interest. The theme is translation ready, you can also translate most of the backend using the po/mo files. However you might need to translate some of the text directly in the php files, I can totally help you with that. If you have more questions, let me know.
I have a few pre-purchase questions:
Can I change layout of the home page to a two column layout?
And the four thumbnails next to the slider, can I statically chose what the content will be?
Thank you for your interest. Changing the thumbnails next to slider is easily, I can help with that. The layout can be changed to 2 columns too but it will require some changes. If you are familiar with css, you can easily do that. I can try to help with that as well. If you have more questions, let me know
Is there a way to reduce double posts, on your home “screen” is one article 4x visible on
1x the slider
1x featured article (next to the slider)
1x POSTS FROM:
1x LATEST POSTS
It depends on your categories structure. In the homepage sections you can either display the specific category posts or the posts from all sections. If each of your posts belong to different categories, it might appear in multiple sections. So the best idea is to organize your posts in a better way.
