From one Tumblr Author to another: top job on the new theme! It’s great seeing fresh faces around here

I had a look at your code and just wanted to make a quick observation regarding your fallback @fontface rules for when javascript is disabled.

Normally @font-face would work perfectly but seeing as theme assets are stored on a different domain than the main theme files (it’s a tumblr thing), the custom fonts will work in all browsers except Firefox… At least that’s what my experience has been. As such, with javascript disabled you’ll be stuck with system fonts on FF.

The only way around this, as far as I know, is to do a base64 encode of your @font-face font-files (for an example of this – check out the code on my latest Essentia theme – you’ll spot it in the CSS immediately)...

About the Firefox problem, i know the workaround, but i decided to not use it, since people tend to distrust base64 (and often for good reasons).

If someone requests this as a addon, ill be happy to deliver it though.

I like this theme, and it’s actually what I need, the only thing is that I need it in white or lightgray… is it possible you could include this in an update? it would also give you more sales, because it would look more minimalistic

this depends what kind of files you want to host.

Everything related to the theme, like backgrounds, as well as every picture in posts (which means your portfolioitems) are hosted by tumblr. Everything you see in the demo is 100% hosted by tumblr.

Hi squared web, I have a question on the theme that might influence my purchase. I was wondering how many pictures can go in the main slide (the long vertical one) and if more “projects”(posts) can be added on the main page as well.

yes, just send me an E-Mail and i will make your desired changes and send you the code (please give me detailed instructions on what you want exactly).

As far as performance goes, the nivo slider starts loading images when the page is ready, so the time till the rest of the page is shown in the browser wont be affected by more images, but of course the slider itself will need more overall bandwidth.

Hello, I love this theme for Tumblr! There isn’t anything similar to this on themeforest and it is the closes to a wordpress theme around. Quick question (as I plan to purchase this theme) can I change the background colors and font/font colors as well? Also does this theme have the ability to have pages/tabs?

Yes I was looking for either being able to upload my own background or something brighter (more feminine?) Like a fuchsia/mustard yellow or soft peach/sea foam green/blue.

Also the custom pages as you explained is what I was talking about. Is there an Ajax contact page available to utilize? I know Tumblr themes often lack that. And one more question, is there a way to upload a paypal information similar to an e-commerce within in the pages provided? (this might be a dumb question) ...

Thanks soooo much! This will be a great help, I will be contacting very soon (once I purchase the theme) with my background. Of course I will need the height/width information to design it properly but this is very nice of you to do!

Also, it will perhaps be more of a shopping cart only if possible? I do know of the simple code through paypal to link customers to a purchase, but if I can add a shopping cart without a big hassle than that would be perfect! Please let me know…I will be purchasing this theme between today and tomorrow at the latest.

I can add a photo to the portfolio fine. Read the instructions, yay for me! I can’t figure out how to add a video. I’m trying to embed a youtube video.

PLEASE don’t tell me this won’t work. Your other template had this option, but I needed this look. Figured for the extra Money 20 vs 10, it would also post video.

I may just be the dumbest person in the world, but I’ve bought this and downloaded it and can NOT figure out how to actually get it on my tumblr. Help?? Please?

Lovely theme, loads of options for links and slider options are great. My only grumble is the lack of any colour change options and ability to switch off the drop shadows.

i apologize for asking what seems to be a stupid question but im having difficulty installing this theme on tumblr. ive purchased and downloaded it but when i cnp it into the html editor nothing is happening to my page. am i missing something…

Thanks for making such a stunning theme. I read through this forum, hopefully you haven’t already answered this but three question:

(1) My thumbnails appeared squashed. Is there something I can do about that? (2/3) Can the Portfolio Bar be optional? I think I’d just like to have my rectangles centered below the slider. Is there a bit of code that can do that?
