hi. i have few questions:
1. can you send me instructions for this: “2 How do I have different portfolios on two different pages and have them using the same portfolio alt format? Right now both both pages are set to Port Alt and they both get the same content which are two separate portfolios.”
2. how to customize (remove profile, title and byline) from vimeo and youtube videos and change the default player controls color ?
3. when i filter blog alt. posts by category, the menu (header) and the other menu (footer) disappears.

1. Yes this is possible through wordpress plugin (Tutorial included), this theme also has some nice features under the hood to make this process easier.
2. This is unfortunately not possible, unless you will use services like soundcloud and others..

Hi, yes that is possible through wordpress plugin called Device Theme Switcher, where you can choose which themes you want to select on each platform (Tutorial included).

Great update, thanks for that. There is only one thing I found. When I make an drop-down menu, it doesn’t work correct on the iPad. The whole menu shifts down, and I don’t see the menu-item.

Edit: This problem only appears on Chrome for iOS. I stay with Safari
I’ve just checked it out on Chrome (btw great browser :D) and had no problems.. could you be more specific ?:-P However it’s weird because it’s basically safari in Chrome Cloak so it should be the same
Very strange but I removed the menu item and placed it back again, now it’s normal.

Hi,
I bought this theme mobile but I realized that the iPad, when viewing a category, I see a row of posts.
So far nothing unusual, except that some images are to obstruct the view of the other post going to overlap.
If I put the iPad in landscape mode everything returns to normal.

Are you using gallery post formats on that page ? I’ve found that this is causing a trouble, so I am trying to find a workaround for that but it looks like this format won’t be available in blog alt. format and it will display just 1 image (In single post it will still display whole gallery)

Ok, I’ve finally found the cause of the problem, it’s caused by a little function which includes portfolio posts in ordinary archive page. If I delete it, the problem is gone, but it will no longer show portfolio posts in archive or search, so I am trying to find workaround for that at the moment

Hi, unfortunately no at the moment, you can only password protect regular pages trough wordpress options.
I found three problems with this theme, I list them below:
1) Even after setting the limit to 10 I always displays 50. Why?
2) When viewing the subject from smartphones (iPhone 4S) and put the device in landscape the browser crashes.
3) You can not display the plugins that I have active on your desktop theme in this mobile? Using device theme switcher plugin, but I moved some of the pages inside.

2) Are you using iOS 6 beta? Because that could be a problem which is caused by the beta phase of the new software (Tried it few times on my iPhone 4S with latest iOS on chrome and safari and had no crashes)
3) What plugins do you have on your mind?

Love the look of this theme! Quick pre-purchase question—how tricky would it be to make it support the new Macbook Pro with Retina display? I viewed the theme from mine and things like images in posts and the logo are still fuzzy. I am not afraid of CSS work, I just want to know if it’ll be possible and not a complete pain to make it work. Logo of course will be easy — it’s the images in posts that I’m most worried about.

Hi, I just got mine 2 days ago, first mac in my life, so I was trying to figure all things (coming from windows). After looking at this beautiful screen and my sites, seeing how bad it looks
, I will be updating all my themes with retina support so this should answer your first question 
and about the posts, I could force double the resolution for output images but that would be waisting of bandwidth on non-retina displays, but I’ve just found a plugin that will generate retina and non retina images in your media library so I will try that out and let you know about that 
Anyway if you want to force double the resolution for images, it’s a matter of rewriting 3 lines in functions.php file so this shouldn’t be a problem

Top theme, really enjoying it! One quick question:
I’m using Stacker as an add on to a desktop theme – with the ‘device theme switcher’ plugin. I want to set the stacker theme to use the blog page template as the homepage default (option in the stacker plugin), but it wont work, and always defaults to the desktop theme homepage, which uses theme specific shortcodes that can’t render. Love to get this one fixed up.

Hi, could you please try to create new file in stacker theme folder, name it home.php and copy whole content from page-blog.php (except the template name: at the top) to the home.php file and it should work

Hey, thanks for the quick reply – I tried this fix but unfortunately it didn’t work. I’ve removed the ‘home’ link from the custom nav, but people still view the homepage when they log into the site (it’s fully password protected sitewide) and the normal homepage is not built for mobile use.

The problem seems to be in the index.php file, where the rules regarding switching home page templates are not being executed? Just a guess?

Hi, for preview in post just paste the youtube link in the post and choose video post format, If you want to post it as iframe into post, just copy the iframe from youtube or use the buildin youtube shortcode.

Before I buy, can you point me to documentation of the supported shortcodes? What will happen if my desktop theme uses shortcodes that are not supported by this mobile theme?
Hi, unfortunatly shortcodes from your desktop theme will shot up as normal text.
On the ‘live demo/live url’ on Themeforest, you show a “two column blog” layout. I don’t see that choice in Theme Options. Am I missing something?
