How I can send the form using jquery? What I have to put line in the validation?

Default-user

yes

Default-user

Using Ajax + Jquery

themepixels
Try to use this one
jQuery("#form1").validate({
   submitHandler: function(form) {
    var url = form.attr('action');
    jQuery.post(url,function(data){
      //some stuff here after server response
    });
   }
})

“About the menu, it’s not a bug it’s just intended not to show the submenu when it collapsed but I’m thinking about that in the next update.

About the thead.png let your client download the updated file here in TF. thead.png is already there”

The main problem is if one link has like 6-7 sub links the tabs are really the only way to allow them navigation, and with 6-7 sub links the tabs start going onto multiple lines.

themepixels

The template has two options for your sub links whether you will use the tab or you will use the sub menu in left menu. It’s not necessarily mean that you use them both. The tab is intended only for 2-3 sub links. If you happen to have more than that, then you should use the left menu for you sub links.

Default-user

I agree. But currently if you view the website in a mobile browser, an Ipad or even if you condense the menu. The sublinks do not show when you hover over the left navigation. So I must use the tabs and the left menu otherwise there is no way to get someone with a condensed menu to view the sublinks without the tabbed navigation or some other type of navigation.

themepixels replied Find this line of code

.leftmenu ul li .menutip {}

and adjust the z-index to 200 and find this code

.maintabmenu { }

and adjust the z-index to 100 and of course put this back

.lefticon .leftmenu ul li { width: 250px; }

3 days ago Report

This brings back the old behavior where the first 250px isn’t clickable for the tabs. Usually makes the first tab un-clickable for navigation.

Atleast in FF so far. =(

Default-user

.leftmenu ul li .menutip { position: absolute; z-index: 200; left: 38px; top: 0; background: url(../images/blacktrans.png); color: #fff; padding: 9px 10px; display: none; -moz-border-radius: 0 2px 2px 0; -webkit-border-radius: 0 2px 2px 0; border-radius: 0 2px 2px 0; }

.maintabmenu { list-style: none; margin: 0; line-height: 21px; position: relative; z-index: 100; }

.lefticon .leftmenu ul li { width: 250px; }

When I visit my page the menu is expanded, and the tabs all work. I collapse the menu. And the first tab is not clickable, it no longer thinks it is a link. I expand the menu and it thinks it is a link. If I have your e-mail I can send more code or a screen shot.

As you can see in the attached image anything in the blue box is not clickable as soon as i hove the mouse to the ‘O’ it begins to be clickable.

No, .maintabmenu should have a z-index: 100 and it should fix the issue. I tried it myself and it works. I want to help you on this but show me the real page not the image screenshot, therefore I cannot help you debug the problem

I downloaded your new stuff and it seems to work just fine. I must have glitched something when messing with the CSS .

I had the client download your new stuff and compared our css files. Matched mine with yours and it seems to be working now. Thank you!

If you do plan on making the left menu more mobile friendly let me know. That is the biggest item on the wishlist for my client right now.

Got a weird problem with jQuery.Dialog. // Open the email templates form $(’#newUser’).dialog({ autoOpen: false, width: 640, height: 640, maxHeight: 640, position: [450, 100], modal: true, show: { effect: ‘fade’ }, hide: { effect: ‘fade’ }, close: function (event, ui) { if ($(”#usertable”).length > 0) { oUserTable.dataTable().fnReloadAjax(); } }, open: function (event, ui) { $(”#FromVisit”).val(‘true’); // set our value for refreshing } }); In Chrome this is all fine and the CSS styles the box nicely, in IE9 however, although all elements are shown, the nice black border wraps half way up the page so it looks like a small dialog box with half of the text fields outside if that makes sense. If I set the height to 1024 then IE renders the same as Chrome did, but then the box in chrome is way too big. Any thoughts? Is this a CSS thing somewhere? Having trouble tracking it down

Hmm is that because I’ve tweaked a few things on the CSS ? Does it ek in IE9 with your initial source? That was the next thing for me to try later out of curiosity. Thanks

themepixels

Try to set overflow:hidden to the dialog

Sorry been a way, you’re a star thank you, apologies for the delay!

Is there a way to turn off sorting in the dynamic table?

I know you posted some code in the discussions to show how to write a cookie for the left menu items to remember users selection. However, that code writes a cookie for each page. So in essence a user could have 20 cookies if there are 20 left menu items.

Is there a way to write a cookie for all pages to recognize if the left menu should be open or closed. I don’t want it to be at each individual menu item/page level. I want to remember user selection for all menu items at the highest level.

Thanks

themepixels

Are you a programmer or a designer?. The code for cookies that I posted is not for a single page only. If you know how to use it you will understand how it works. It works to all pages, you just have to call the cookie name ang get the value.

Don’t write the code in every pages, just call it to every pages.

Found the problem…...Sorry but there is an issue with the existing cookie creation. Especially if you are using (in .NET a _Layout page for MVC , or masterpage – similar to include files) for referencing navigation.

See code below – you must specify path. If you do not pass a default path a cookie gets created with the exact path of each web page you visit and hence I was getting multiple cookies created when navigating my site.

function setCookie(c_name, value, exdays) { var exdate = new Date(); exdate.setDate(exdate.getDate() + exdays); var c_value = escape(value) + ((exdays == null) ? ”” : ”; expires=” + exdate.toUTCString()); document.cookie = c_name + ”=” + c_value + ”; path=/”;

any news?

Hello themepixels, great theme. —did you notice that the calendar is behaving incorrectly ? , in the official plug-in demo, I can drag an event to the list, ‘resize its duration’, change the position, etc. And each time I move it, it perfectly fits/align itself to that day’s center in the calendar.

however, in the calendar in this theme’s preview, you can resize it, but it won’t align to the center after you drop it nor you can drag it to a previous date without it going crazy; It’s very hard to explain. Is there a workaround ?

Thanks, and sorry.

themepixels

yeah, I noticed it but it’s not a css issue. This is from calendar plugin that I used in this template. I will find a fix for this and let you know

themepixels

I found the problem, it’s because I’m using jquery version 1.7, that won’t work, you need to use the jquery version 1.5 to work

arturocabezal

cool, thanks. I will try

Hi

I emailed you few days ago but still had no reply.

There are few bugs that we have identified, and I would like to know if they can be fixed.

1. Under wizard section, where you have steps 1,2,3, the form is falling apart and is not resizing under step 2. The icons are not stacking up and it all looks a bit messy. That happens when the window is resized to small width. It applies for all three wizard examples

2. On iphone and ipad, if you load the site under vertical view, then turn it horizontal, then return vertical again, it doesn’t resize anymore – it stays the same width as horizontal, and we have a sidebar.

Can you pls let us know if you will able to fix this and how long will it take.

Many thanks!

Ok, lets separate two issues:

1. Wizard – thats breaking on all devices, including desktop browser.

2. Iphone/Ipad resizing – the problem is definitely there – what do we do about it?

Please let me know if you have any intentions of fixing these bugs.

Thanks!

Hi there

I have purchased this template in good faith. There are clearly some bugs with it, and I’m not getting any response from you.

Can you pls get back to me on the questions asked?

At least tell me if you will be bothered to answer them or not, so I can look at alternative solutions.

Thanks!

themepixels

1. Wizard – this wizard is design for small text label layout but if you have long text you have to adjust it on your own in the css. You can check it on style.css and find the style for wizard

2. Iphone/Ipad resizing – As what i’ve said in the above i have no real ipad/iphone to test here only an emulator but in emulator i have no problem with it.

Hello were you able to find a solution for te radiobutton styling ? I noticed that as well in your demo , the checkbox is nicely styled but the radio button is not.

when looking at the form.js, i see that you you have a block for the checkbox but none for the radio.

i tried to reproduce the same code for the radio by changinf checkbox to radio. the style appears but if you click on several of the radio choices, they all stay selected. i guess this is why you did not add it.

do you know what is causing the problem and are you aware about a possible solution ?

themepixels

Hi,

I only styled only the checkbox not the radio. It’s on purpose

Is it possible for the simple chart to pull it’s information from a database, instead of being hard coded in? Any documentation would be very helpful.

Thanks, -Mike

themepixels

Yes, it’s very possible, try to figure out the code for the chart on how I display the data. Just replace it with the data from your database

Default-user

Do you have any suggested methods or tutorials for getting the data into the line chart. I see it’s pulling its data from charts.js. I’ve been building this out in php and not sure how to substitute the php data for javascript values.

Try this solution of this dude. He have same solution as mine. http://bit.ly/1PdBy

When having more than 1 lines of text in the small tag, either by a long text, or with a break, it dissapears, and moves the input field down.

Minor detail but does the template have tool tips built in?

dalmaso Purchased

any news?

found another possible bug.

I am using your theme checkboxes. And it seems when I populate the data into a table the checkboxes work just fine on the first page of table data, but when I paginate (go to page 2+) for any dynamic table the check boxes cease to work.

Here is the code that I believe handles your checkboxes.

//for checkbox jQuery('input[type=checkbox]').each(function () { var t = jQuery(this); t.wrap('<span class="checkbox" />'); t.click(function () { if (jQuery(this).is(':checked')) { t.attr('checked', true); t.parent().addClass('checked'); } else { t.attr('checked', false); t.parent().removeClass('checked'); } }); if (t.is(':checked')) { t.attr('checked', true); t.parent().addClass('checked'); } });
themepixels

Try this

create a function and put the code for checkbox inside that function then add this in your data table
jQuery('table').dataTable({
   "fnDrawCallback": function(oSettings) {
       convertCheckbox();
    }
});
Default-user

Worked like a charm, thank you!

How to login in you demo?

Thanks.

themepixels

Just enter any username then submit

Nevermind ;-)

Hey themepixels,

So my boss has purchased the single license for one of their products and are looking to expand it to another product which would require them to purchase the commercial version. They love the template and have looked at several on ThemeForest and this is their favorite one so .

My clients main concern is the left hand menu because they have a lot of Ipad/Mobile users. Do you know if you might be able to include code in a future release that would allow the menu to show sub menus for when the menu is condensed? The tabs work, but once you get beyond 3-4 tabs they start to clump up on the small browsers. Otherwise we both love the template!

themepixels

Hi jamesjw007,

That would be great. About your request I uploaded it already and waiting for approval. Once approve you can download the file again. You just have to replace these 2 files
css/style.css
js/custom/general.js

Once replaced, you now have a sub menu shows when hovering the left menu

Hi, really nice work!!! Only little a question, i can’t see in the demo a styled input “file upload” for the forms… Is very common to find that… I have to customize it by myself? Thanks, and good luck for the sales! ;)

themepixels

Yes file upload style is the usual style for this template
