Go to the theme’s folder and edit the page named “single-portfolio_page.php”. From line 26 to 38 remove this code:

Love the theme. But have just ONE issue

In your theme, on the home page, under the slider photos, the background color is black. On mine, the background is white. I want it to be black like the same background as the header. Here is my site:

Hi there,

For some reason the slider wrapper div is missing.

Here’s what you need to do:

Go to the theme’s folder > includes and edit the file named “featured-slider.php”. Just at the beginning add this:


<div class="slider_wrapper">

and at the end this:

</div>

Save. Done.

Hey,

Simply edit the “full-width-page.php” and remove the following:


<div class="page_title">
    <h2>
      <span><?php the_title(); ?></span>
    </h2>
  </div>

Save. Done.

As for the previous question you can paste your custom styling in the “Custom CSS ” box and it will be applied site-wide, disregarding the chosen color.

Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to have a control on Tooltip’s popup position? I am working on a four column layout and if I insert a tooltip link to a word at the far right hand of the text line, the tooltip over flows in the text of next column and some how it ends up behind the text of the next column. So it’s hard to read tooltip’s content.

Hey,

In the style-sheet you’re using (eg. blue.css) at line 3162 you can find the code responsible for the tooltip.

Thanks for your support.

I had a look at the codes and tried to make a few changes like changed the position from absolute to relative and other way around but it did not help much. It would be great if you can help us out with what to change and where to change? Or give us a custom/global code so changes apply across all the styles. All I want is to make tool tip popping up in the centre of the column.

Hey,

Go to the theme folder > js and edit the file named “custom.js”. On line 85 & 90 you’ll find the bottom position of the tooltip. Also you can change the “bottom” to top and play with the settings.

Tried everything – No Joy!

I even changed the background colour to solid black but the problem is when it over flows into next column, it sits behind the text. If it can be brought in ‘front’ would be great.

The videos are being blocked by Vimeo. This is not a problem, since I will not use Vimeo videos inside pages, but this fact is disturbing the view of the template to prospective buyers.

Another issue. If you go to portfolio page, like this one: http://www.agenciakorova.com/nuestroportafolio if you click each logo, you can make the logo bigger or you can go to that page.

When I put the mouse over the logos, I just want to see the option to go to that page, and not to make the logo bigger. How can I do hat?

Hi,

1) My problem with this theme home page, I am not able to get the Featured Plugin and Portfolio, even though I have enabled the settings from Admin under Stonex Options.

2) I am also not getting Title Attribute. When I enter some text into this, it comes as an alt text of my menu.

Oh, I understand now.

What you need to do is to set up a static front page. To do that you must create a new page (eg. Home) and assign it the “Homepage” template. Then you must set this page as your static front page. If you don’t know how to do it you can find more instructions in the archive you’ve downloaded from here > help folder > index.

Also, you can import the stonex.xml file also found in the help folder if you want to set up your site just like the demo page and then you can start customizing from there.

Hi -

I just bought the theme and really love it, but I am having one problem. Under the “homepage” theme options where you set the link for the “request a quote” button I changed the url to:

a Quote![/actionbutton]

When you click the link it just goes to my home page and not the contact page. Do you have any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

Hi! Posted here last week. Having a slight problem after the upgrade to Wordpress 3.4.

Under Appearance >> Stonex Options >> Feat. Slider.

I’m trying to upload a new slide and once i click on Upload it gives me a popup that says:

“Cheating uh?. Internal Server Error… and so on”

Am I the only one having this error?

Hi there,

I’ve updated the theme files. Herse’s what you need to do:

Go to your theme folder > admin and delete the file named “medialibrary-uploader.php”. Now, download the new theme version of the theme from your account go to admin folder and copy the above file in the admin folder from where you deleted the old file. Done.

Let me know how’s going.

Hey ginaalessia! Great theme (Stonex)... love it. Need to be able to alter two things, maybe you could point me to the proper clas or id in the correct css file, but anyway,... I need to:

1 – Alter the theme color options (right now you can alter that secondary color from the Stonex options menu under the styling section. This section also has option for inserting some custom CSS , but not sure what clas or id to use to affect the overall ‘theme colors’...

2 – How the heck do you get the sub headings to show up under the main titles of each nav menu item… see link to image…

Hey there love the theme but have a couple of questions as.

Firstly, 1. I know the theme is primarily based around the dark elements but is there a way to replace the black sections with light coloured BG patterns instead? Are there specific graphic files that I could just inverse in photoshop and replace?

2. Is there a way to add a colour to the style section or modify one as the colours are all quite bright and the branding Im setting this up for wants to use a pastel shade instead. I have found the graphic items in the folder i.e slider arrows etc but wondered what else needed to be changed do everything matches.

3. Is there a way to remove the shadow on the menu text, it looks fine on black but with a light background looks a bit harsh.

Sorry for the bombardment of questions its just that the person I’m helping likes the functionality and structure of your beautiful theme but just needs these few elements changed so the overall feel is a bit lighter.

Any help or guidance you can offer would be very gratefully received ( I can send you the license purchase key if you need it).

Hi there,

1. Yes, you can easily do that in any image editing software (eg. photoshop). In the theme’s folder > images you’ll find all the images responsible for backgrounds, buttons etc. (eg. body_bg.jpg).

2. If you have some CSS skills you can simply edit the style-sheet for the color you’re using (eg. blue.css) located in the theme’s folder > styles.

3. Sure, add this code to the “Custom CSS ” box found in the theme options under the “Styling Options” tab:

text-shadow: none;
}

Wow thanks! – Thats speedy service! My css is not that brilliant! but ill give it a go. Im not sure which items I need to change but i guess I will have to have a play! I managed to find the file for the large black area but can’t find the graphic for the thin black part (behind the Page Slogan – the text of which I will have to change to a darker colour to contrast also!).

That is called “intro_slogan_divider.png”.

Most of the code in the style-sheet is commented based on sections so it won’t be hard to play with.
