I’m having a problem where we accidentally named one of the featured slides with a name that is to long, and now we can delete the slide because the name covers the down arrow.

Any fix for this other than resetting the theme to default?

Hi there,

You can find the contact form code in the folder admin and edit the file named “shortcodes.php”. The contact form code starts at line 951. The code is commented so it should be easy to find.

Hello!

First, thanks for the theme. I love it.

There seems to be a problem in the admin section where the WPEditor won’t stay within it’s window when in “Visual” mode. I think it’s due to all the additional shortcode buttons for the theme. How do I get the window to stay within it’s box and get the icons to bump down to a second row?

Hi there,

This is happening due to your lower resolution.

Here’s a quick fix:

Go to the theme’s folder > admin and edit the file named “tinymce_buttons.php”. On line 12 change this:

mce_buttons

to this:

mce_buttons_2

or this:

mce_buttons_3

Save. Done.

Very nice theme and I’m to launch my company site in a few days but got some problems:

1) Your theme inserts breaks
between lines in text widget – I need to fix this

2) Even though I have a static page I can not add the custom section content or latest work. The homepage content section is the only one thats working.

Hi there,

1. The theme is not inserting brakes, WordPress auto-formatting does. To fix this simply wrap the content with the problem in the raw shortcode.

Example:


[raw]

content goes here

[/raw]

2. Make sure that your static homepage has the “Homepage” page template assigned.

When you create a page, just under the editor you’ll see a box called “Page Slogan”. There you can insert your custom text.

Hi there,

The theme doesn’t support child-themes due to it’s theme options page. Still, you can paste your code in the style-sheet you’re using from the “styles” folder (eg. blue.css).

Hi there,

It’s possible if you use the shortcode outside the main content area which is 940x in width.

All you have to do is edit the styling from the style-sheet you’re using.

Hey,

You can found the files in the “styles” folder. If you place the code outside the “wrapped” id you shouldn’t have any problems. Preferably in the “header.php” file.

The styling can be found in the “styles” folder. Simply edit the “default.css” file or the color you’re using.

Flex Slider Bug -

Please help, I’m using the Flex Slider on my homepage, and I cannot add more than 2 slides. When I try to add a third slide, the third slide’s image becomes the second slide’s image (overrides it), and the third slide is blank. The same with the 4th, 5th, 6th. They all just replace the second slide’s image.

Any help?

Hi! Great theme! Love it! something that is perplexing to me though… when I install W3 total cache (to use my CDN network – which happens to be cdn77.com), the slider stops working… no images, no animations,... just… blank… wierd. Is there a workaround to this?

can you explain how much customizing can be done to this? as far as backgrounds,buttons,headers,ect? I am trying to decide on a new template i got avada 1.1 and was very unhappy backgrounds where not changeable in wide screen mode. and the back end editor was not very nice.

The theme comes with 6 background for the header and 6 for the body. With a little editing and replacing the right files you can set your own custom one.

When you change the header bg in the options panel the footer bg will be changed. So, if you want to put your custom one the easiest way is to edit the images that are responsible for the bgs and replace them with your own.

Go to the theme options page > Styling Options and paste this in the “Custom CSS ” box:

We have the twitter feed (widget) running on the homepage but it has suddenly stopped working. We’ve tried using other twitter usernames but nothing is displaying. Could you offer any advice on why it’s happening?

Twitter changed it’s api lately and that’s why it isn’t working. Here’s what you need to do:

Go to the theme’s folder > admin > widgets and edit the file named “latest_tweets.php”. Replace lines 49 and 50 (the old twitter scripts) with the new ones, these:
