Can you tell me how I can disable the scrolling menu effect which appears at the bottom just on the iphone and make it like the android version?
I ask that you please post at the Striking Support forum, per the link found in the Support Tab above (although I think you already have a forum id if I recall correctly), and one of the support team will help you with your question. Registration is free, and takes all of 30 seconds. You will need your Themeforest purchase code, which you can obtain on the Downloads page of your account.
Include a url in the thread, along with the wp and theme version you are using.
To anyone reading, all our support on usage and othe questions is provided at our Support Forum, which has a team dedicated to reviewing and answering usage questions constantly every day.
Is it possible to create an event directory similar to Appthemes:Vantage, DirectoryPress or Templatic:Directory?
The focus needs to be on event-entries as opposed to “just” business listings. The main features we need are that of: back-end: creating events, front-end: displaying a list of events (thumbnail, title, start-end-date, location…) and an event-page where more details will be displayed and of course the “directory feature” where clients could log in and add/modify their events. Optional would be to also have listings for venues and business/profile listings. Looking forward to hearing from you, Simon
Our portfolio post type can do everything that you described. But, what they have created is a custom post type with those specific fields, to make that process of creating an event for a directory user simple. Our portfolio post has all of those display abilities, but, it is not set up with field names for event name, event date, etc.
So a user logging in to our theme, would only see the ability to create a new portfolio post, and not see the specific fields to put in an event name, event date, etc. That is custom fields in the custom post.
As their theme which is specific purpose, you obtain this. With ours, which is multipurpose, you can duplicate it, but it requires more work. It does not have the preformatting for this specific purpose.
Its not hard to create a custom post for MultiFlex, one can use the Types plugin, or we can create the custom post type on a paid basis. There are also a number of event type plugins as well. But as a core feature, the preset fields for events are not native to the theme.
Thank you for your interest.
I want to know two things..
when i post a woocommerce product, the tittle size is just a little ..can i find a way to make taller?
how can i do to change add to cart button color from woocommerce product?
I believe you are a new member of the Striking family, and welcome and thank you for purchasing.
As we indicate in the Support Tab above, and even in the description of the Striking Theme, we provide our support at our a dedicated forum:
When will the Multi-Flex theme be available? If I already have a license, will I need to buy it again?
Its actually available. We know the thumbnail images here at Themeforest are vastly out of date. But if you download Striking from your account right now, it is MultiFlex, and has been so since Feb 4.
I want to purchase your theme, and i want the theme to be english and hebrew.
1. do i need to purchase also the wpml plugin?
2. if yes, do i need to renew the plugin and pay every year?
Your admin can be in hebrew by downloading the correct version of wordpress (I think there is a hebrew version).
Our theme does rtl automatically upon detection of an rtl language for the admin. But if you wish to show 2 languages on the front side, you have to use some sort of a language plugin, as WP does not possess an intrinsic dual language ability.
You could use wpml, qtranslate, or another language plugin, there are a number of free ones in the wordpress codex. MultiFlex is totally configured and is certified for WPML, including some customization (and it also has a customization for Qtranslate) and it is in our past experience WPML is the most robust language plugin, but there are many alternatives, both free and paid.
You would have to check at wpml on their plugin terms and conditions.
Is this suitable doe digital download products, software, ebooks etc ?
Thank you for enquiring into Striking MultiFlex.
MultiFlex is a theme designed to be compatible with a number of ecommerce plugins, so we don’t have any one of them built into the theme, but rather functions for complementing or customizing what these ecommerce plugins are able to do.
If you interest is in digital products, we recommend you use Easy Digital Downloads, an excellent free plugin at the wordpress codex:
and which works beautifully with MultiFlex. There are other options as well, but this plugin has good support, and there are many other free addons for it in the codex. The EDD plugin is very easy to use, and is highly rated by past users.
If you use EDD with Striking MultiFlex you will be able to customize the layouts of the EDD posts, give them and archives custom sidebars, titles and feature header content, and more as we have coded the theme to customize EDD pages for these purposes.
The learning curve for EDD is easier then for ecommerce plugins such as Woo or WP Ecommerce.
Thanks for enquiring about MultiFlex.
How get I get the menu to start from left to right insted of right to left?
Forgive me, but I am not understanding what you mean. Is it that you want the menu to be justified to the left side of the inner portion of the header (it is justified to the right side) or you are currently in a foreign language RTL site, but need to change something?
I ask that you go to our support forum (the link is in the Support Tab above, register if you are not registered already, and create a new thread with your question, and include your website url and any other information that is pertinent such as an image which you have marked up, so that we can understand your question better.
Can we create the main Menu as you have created in the demo theme.
After buying, is it possible to update the word press & the theme.
Is Striking a beta version?
I Wanted to buy this striking multiflex theme to create telecom site Pan India.
Can we create a Drop down for our visitors to select their cities in the side bar.
Thank you for enquiring about Striking MultiFlex.
No. It was released in Feb 2014. In fact we are releasing version 1.0.2 later today with some tweaks and new settings.
Our theme includes a custom menu widget, and a custom sub menu item widget, but neither are in “dropdown” form. They both display all the items on the page in a nested format.
You might want to use a vertical navigation plugin for this purpose or you will have to create something custom. We do paid custom work of this nature for customers as well should you be interested.
Hello! When you say you support true multisite, what does that mean? Does this theme have the ability to create multiple eCommerce stores much like Etsy or something like that?
We are referring to wordpress multisite capability. Etsy (assuming we are both talking about estsy.com) is not related to WP.
But true wp multisite means capable of both subdomain and path based multisites, domain mapping, etc. If you have worked with WP multisite, you likely experienced the fact that many themes that claim multisite capability in fact have functionality issues galore. We do not.
If you wanted to set up a path based multisite, and each sub have ecommerce, this would be possible with Striking MultiFlex as long as you understood how to work with the ecommerce plugin and its gateways. You could allow each user to register and create their own subsite, and run an ecommerce site from that subsite. You would need some plugins as well to make this happen. Striking MultiFlex is an ideal platform for this as we have defined the capabilities within our theme for all functions.
I posted a video in the past on user roles in Striking, and here is the link:
I appreciate your speedy reply, I have had terrible experiences with functionality issues as you explained. It appears this is the theme for me. When you say that I would need some plugins to make this happen what plugins are you referring to?
Not personaly having previously built out a site to do exactly what I believe you intend I will indicate, off the top of my head, that you will need some sort of user role or membership type plugin, a plugin to customize other aspects of the dashboard per viewer, perhaps a forum plugin of some sort, and more.
MultiFlex is an ideal base for membership and sales sites, but we are only the “base”, and depending on what you intend, you are going to have to add to it.
If you look at our reviews, I believe it is safe to say we are an excellent theme. You might want to visit the following thread:
to get a “handle” on some of the other plugins users are utilizing for various puposes ->they may give you some ideas for your own venture. The comments are from a mixture of DIY and professionals.
Our forum is a very active place (DIY users many whom have never touched wp previously can stumble on the simplest of matters that might seem intuitive to someone else) and has lots of interesting topics and tweaks.
We are releasing another update of MultiFlex tomorrow (may take a day or two for TF to approve once we submit).
But I will say this, we were one of the very first premium level themes completely compatible with MultiSite. If someone should find an issue with multisite, we would address, as we have in the past addressed every issue ever reported to us. There might be some small idiosyntric matter out there that we have missed, or perhaps even cannot fix, but nothing has been reported in a long, long time, and I doubt anything exists which cannot be worked around one way or another.
The demo site, and every other site we have are all on multisites.
By the way, if you are intending multisite and ecommerce, be very, very careful about hosting. Most hosts will not cut the mustard.
MultiFlex = Your Site Your Way!
A great theme with lots of options! When users make a new blog post, the blog post loses all of the customised settings I have made to the theme, eg. slideshow, header etc. as does the archived blog page. How do I get my default blog page and archived page to look the same as my customised, Striking Theme pages?
Hi Tassie (whom I am guessin is in kiwi land….)
That is odd behaviour.
I need you to go to the forum and create a new thread, and also provide a url. I may then send you a back end request in the forum for some logins.
As we note in the above Support Tab, all our theme support is rendered at the forum. This way any support team member on duty can hop in, and also other users can learn from the outcome, via the forum thread.
Please register at the forum using the same name as your TF id.
THIS THEME IS AWESOME!
Sorry, but this had to be said in big letters.
The endless possibilities, the updates to a better and better theme, and last but not least the perfect support.
I´ve bought this theme before it has responsive design and I´m glad to choose the “kaptinlin” Team, who brings me and my clients a great theme.
Thanks again guys and work on!
5 Star rating (10 if it was possible)
Thank you very much for your kind thoughts about Striking MultiFlex. Our goal really is per our motto “Your Site Your Way” and as you pointed out, with our theme the possibilities are endless.
I just bought your theme and installed it.
But I can not find demo xml file/directory from zip file that i download.
Could you please help me, because i want to use demo xml content.
Thank you very much for your confidence in purchasing Striking MultiFlex & Ecommerce.
We actually built the installable file into the core of the theme so you don’t have to import!
Please go here and watch this quick video on how to install it using the theme setting for installation of the demo content:
As well, we have more then one package a user can install. Please go to this thread to read about it:
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to respond.
By the way, we don’t provide our theme support here. I only happened to be here as we are working on some Themeforest related matters, otherwise this might not have been seen for hours, or even days.
We indicate very clearly in the Support Tab above that we provide all our support at our dedicated support forum (link is in the tab). Please create an id at the forum (use the same as here at Themeforest) and post a thread if you have any followup questions. This way any support team member can assist you. Most do not have access to the Themeforest acct, and I am off to bed shortly.
hello i have 3 websites http://www.veerz.com/ and http://www.zukdo.com/ and http://www.mousebux.com/ if i buy this theme i will can use for the 3 sites or i need to buy 3 times? Thanks – Very nice job ! Waiting your reply…
Thank you for your interest in Striking MultiFlex.
You would have to buy 3 separate licenses, per the Themeforest licensing requirements. We don’t control or have any say in this, they set out the rules.
Wait until you get to play with this! You will like. We also are in the process of submitting the next update Ver 1.0.2. It has quite a number of nice little tweaks to it. Almost all taking into account user suggestions and feature requests. And we are already started on ver 1.0.3 which is about 4 weeks away I would guestimate, and has a couple of new functions added.
Maybe you can be the buyer who pushes us over 17100 sales! Please!!
Hello! What new features in updated version (28 march 2014) ? thanks.
The changelog is contained with the download package from Themeforest. As well, you can go over to the support forum and review the thread on it.
The internal update setting also has a link to the api where you can view all the changes.
This is a major update.
Just wanted to say that I love the Striking Multiflex Theme, and the knowledgeable support that comes with it in your support forum. The new version seems to have an even quicker load time than before . As usual it is extremely customizable.
I cannot believe this theme is not up there on the top three themes on themeforest. I have used many themes including Avada, X theme, enfold, and others but non come close to the flexibility of Striking Multiflex. I can build blogs, stores, corporate sites, landing pages, and just about any type of website I want. The flexibility on this theme is amazing! and the support from the Striking Multiflex community is awesome! 5 Stars from me
I just upgraded my site to the new Striking Multiflex. It was a smooth transition and James responded to a few of my questions within 12 hours.
we are still using version 2.1 and want to upgrade to the newest version. The demo looks quite different. Will there be any issues in updating our theme to the newest version?
Issues no, unless you do it incorrectly.
Please go to our support forum (per the link in the support tab above) register, and post a thread. Indicate the current version of wp and the theme, your website url, and a request for some info on appropriate update steps.
We don’t see a thread on the forum from you yet, but strongly recommend you commence one with the thread title “updating from Striking Ver 2.1 and request guidance on necessary steps” and one of the support team will reply.
I get this message while trying to update:

You put your purchase code in your comment!! Now themeforest is going to have to scrap your purchase code, and issue you a new one.
I reported your comment for this reason. Purchase codes are combinations, you never, ever, ever, make them public.
In any case, we clearly state in the Support Tab above, and in the Item Details tab (where we describe the theme) that all support is at our support forum, not hear at Themeforest. And dont post the purchase code over there either.
Just the error, and a note that you need some assistance.
You do need your purchase code to register at the forum, but of course, the registration process is private.
Oops… sorry about this, to early in the morning, next time i wait a few hours before placing a comment, THX
If you go to the current release update thread on the forum it would be the place to post. We are off on Sunday’s for formal support but the next team member on duty will be ready to supply assistance.
We just release full package for update 126.96.36.199. Please install by ftp. I think you have problem with your site and cannot use update setting in theme until fix with whole theme install.
Thx, i wil try
where do I find the license certificate? Thank you
Please go to your Downloads page in your themeforest account. Go to the Striking thumbnail and beside it you will see a Download button, click on it, and you get options, one of which is to download your license certificate.
I get no options when I click on download
To the right of the thumbnail image of each item you have purchased at Themeforest you see the name of the item. I have included a picture below of an item we purchased (one cannot purchase one’s own theme, so that is why you do not see the Striking Thumbnail used as an example).
Beside it there is a green button and it has an arrow pointing downwards in the right side of the button.
It should immediately cause two items to show up in a dropdown per the image below:
If this dropdown does not show then you need to contact Themeforest customer service for assistance as it would seem to imply you have a problem with your account.
Assuming it does appear, click on the “Licence Certificate & Purchase code” line, and the download of that information will commence.
Please let us know how it turns out. Themeforest has to fix this as they control all aspects of licensing. We have no say, or abilities in this area whatsoever, the entire marketplace is managed by them.
Did you find?
Got it…. I can’t believe how hard and hidden that was…. thank you
