what should the Template be for the home page slider?
Hi, I’m customizing right now the template, I have a few questions, hope you can help me! - First is my portfolio. It’s mainly made of videos, and I saw in the demo that you put, as featured image, the video from youtube that can be already watched as a thumbinail or opened in a separated post clicking on the title. How do I do that? - I have a lots of videos to feature in the portfolio, but it shows only some of them. Can I show them all, or create pages in the portfolio? - How do I add the social link (likes and tweet) in the sidebar of every post/page?
hi,
for the video in portfolio, if you define a youtube video, it will appears in the item list as thumbnail.
if you want, you can display ALL video portolio item via taxonomy page using /filters/ like: http://strings.devilcantburn.com/filters/videos/ where video is the name of the taxonomy term.
for the social links in the single page/post, use the widget provided with the theme

Thank you so much! I managed to fix all my problems so far. To get the video featured though, I had to install a plugin called “Featured Video Plus”...I really couldn’t find another way to do it! All that matters is that worked anyway
Another question…do you know by any chance how I can change the display of author, categories and tags in a post? it shows on the homepage, and on the side of the post page as well.
I’m having trouble setting up the gallery, can you give me more detailed instructions on how to setup the attachments plugin and how to display the gallerys on the gallery page? Forgive my ignorance but my php knowledge is limited. Thank you!
Hi,
You have to install the plugin Attachment, create a new page with the template page : Gallery
go to Dashboard > Gallery > Add new,
fill the title, upload the cover with the featured image box, and click on the Attachment button to add all your images for this gallery.
and publish…
repeat that for each gallery you need.

I love this theme! Great work! I am having one minor issue that maybe you could explain to me. I followed directions adding youtube ID via custom fields, when I view it on my computer it shows up fine. However, when I look at the site from my phone, the youtube video is not resizing which is making the site look non-responsive, if that makese sense. Hello, I was wondering, how can I change the display of author, categories and tags in a post? it shows on the homepage, and on the side of the post page as well. Also, I really can’t get around how to customize the albums, to show just the preview picture and the title. On my page, http://www.stagefrighttv.com/albums/ it keeps showing that “by” field that I can’t get rid of. As last, in settings > reading on my dashboard, I set a determined number of posts to show, as I wanted to control the numbers of posts featured on the home page. But this is influencing not only that, but every list of contents I have on the website. So, if I choose in those settings that I want 5 posts to be featured, my portfolio or my albums will show 5 contents as well, even though I would like the portfolio to show 6, and my album to show 8. How can I change that?
