Hi, excuse my question if it sounds stupid or it lack of knowledge! But i want to create a website for a new small business me and my partner are doing, and this theme is a word press theme, but me personally i think it fits to be used as a website for a small (design) business, isnt it? coz i read here in the comments that u r not planning on releasing this theme as a site template! thanks,
Hi, there are no plans to release this theme as a HTML template. You can of course use WordPress for a business just as you would a HTML template.

Unfortunately not, not without modification of the slider itself. Out of the box you are limited to images only.
Hi Orman, I have some problem with Sticky Posts… if i set a post as Sticky in the homepage it adds on the number of post that i have indicated on the theme option. I mean if i set Blog Number as 3 it show 4 post because one post is sticky. Can you help me so that the Sticky Post will not make the number of post in homepage increase?

Hello,
I want to create a video blog and I really like this theme, but I have few pre-purchase questions:
1- Can I use the portfolio page as the home page?
2- If the portfolio does not support multiple pages, how does it work when it has hundreds of projects? Does a “load more” button appear? Does it display everything on one page?
3- Would it be complicated to add comments under the porfolio projects? (Once you enter them individually?)

Hey,
1. Yes, you can use any page as the homepage.
2. The portfolio simply pulls in all of your portfolio items. Pagination or a load more feature would require some customisation on your part.
3. Portfolio items can display comments out of the box, you will just need to enable them when creating the post.

I’ve purchased Classica and now would like to purchase Studeo for our design consultancy. I just have a few questions before I purchase:
1. Is it possible to completely get rid of the orange banner area under the slider?
2. Does the Recent Work section support more than one line of descriptive text?
3. Do the portfolio items on the Portfolio page support more than one line of descriptive text?

1. Yes, this is optional from the theme options.
2. By default no, but changing the height of the container with CSS will allow multiple lines.
3. As above.

Great looking theme! I just wanted to ask a question before I can decide if this will work for my client or not:
- the “recent work” and “from the blog” sections on the hp. Can you customize those as far as changing the title and selecting which pages are shown there? Basically creating a new category for that area?

Hi Zak,
You can enable/disable both sections and choose how many items to show in each. The portfolio section pulls in portfolio items and the news section pulls in your blog posts. If you wanted to pull a particular category only you would need to make a small tweak to the theme code.

It’s certainly possible but you would need to edit the homepage template in order to do so.

Really great stuff ! Actually, I’m just about to purchase this theme but I was wondering if it’s possible to put a blog section and a sidebar right below the wide slider in the homepage. If it’s not possible, could you suggest one of your themes that could do that ?

Hi, possible yes but you would need to edit the homepage template in order to achieve it. How easy that is will depend on your proficiency with CSS /PHP

Howdy, the portfolio items are a custom post type. When creating a new portfolio item you have various options in the edit page to upload media and so on.
i haven’t been able to get the slider to appear… i have checkbox selected and 1 image uploaded

Hey Orman great theme! I’m curious what files did you edit in the new update? Also, myself and I’m sure every designer on the planet hate IE (any version). When I look at this theme in IE a few of the features are missing. Should I worry about IE?

Cufon Slider arrows and css3 effects.
Hey, there is a changelog in the download files so you can see which files have been updated. As for the IE issue, Cufon isn’t used within the theme, CSS3 effects will be missing as IE does not support the majority of them and I’m not sure what you mean with the slider arrows.

Is there a way to add pagination to the portfolio page? I have a lot of artwork, and I don’t want people to have to scroll down sooo far when they can just click on page numbers.
Hey, pagination is not available out of the box. It’s certainly a possibility if you’re able to get a developer involved to customise the theme.
