Studiofolio: A Versatile Portfolio and Blog Theme

Hello I love this theme, it’s beautifully designed and developed so really great work. Highly likely I am going to be buying it for a client but just needed to know a couple of things first that are musts for my client.

I know I can password protect pages so I assume I could password protect a portfolio item page once they click through to the portfolio item itself where it has the description on the sidebar etc? Correct? It’s just the client will be wanting to upload portfolios of images for their clients from their events and some clients will need them password protected.

Is it possible to have a home page that will be a blank white full width page I can just add code to myself rather than have any type of portfolio/gallery grid showing?

In version 1.3, did you include the Entypo Font into the Font folder or do we still have to do that?

Quality Portfolio theme. Responsive, classic but modern. Really impressive build quality and comprehensive options. Regular updates and enhancements make this purchase worth every cent and more.

A couple of minor suggestions and improvement and ideas…

Import File. The ability to import sample content and page is great. But would like to see this enhanced. Current import file imports same pages, posts and comments. Would be great to have a basic and advanced import file as most Folio websites i build i turn off and delete comments. A couple of sample .zip files would certainly save time. ANd instead of using sample images, maybe use http://placehold.it/.

Contact Page template An option to change the method of may or way google map is displayed. Great scope and potential for map. i.e. Plotting multiple locations for clients, work, cities you have worked in, or future travel plans. I think use of the map in marry work or travel can be enhanced.

Inbuilt Like system for portfolio items.

StudioFolio options: - Theme Stylesheet, ability to create your own theme colour schema and save it. Rather than manually overing CSS in the custom styling. - ability to save custom.css and back and/or restore to make mods and changes.

Hi, fantastic looking/functioning theme – one question, how well does the site index with search engines?

top theme, works fine and looks great except for one thing. when you load the test data and go to news & blog, and then click on “more items” everything works fine, but when you click it again to load more posts, you get the same last 10 messages.

When you insert an image with a caption Wordpress automatically adds the width of the image:

<figure id=”attachment_22399” class=”thumbnail wp-caption alignnone” style=”width: 800px”>

Using this theme the captioned image stays at that width, making the text column on a post overlap the side bar and not scale down responsively.

Is there a way around this; even if I reduce the image size it still holds the column open to that width..?

just purchased.. thanks for an excellent theme.. beyond what i was hoping for. although i’m still figuring out the best way to use the theme (arrangement of portfolios, etc.) it’s been great so far.

i do wish, however, that your support site had a better design with chrome on windows 7 the text is so large that i find it very difficult to use. also themes should be better separated, for instance search gives me results for all your themes..

A few questions.

Can videos be part of a slideshow?

Can logo and menu be centered?

Can the back to portfolio and next/previous portfolio buttons be made chunkier and bolder? It would be nice if they could be featured at the top of the page as well as bottom. Sometimes they are quite far down.

A) how can i add stylers to the map plugin to show it in black and white ( saturation -100)

is it possible to add a swipe function to the portfolio section, like the ‘iSwipe WP-Plugin’ to navigate trough the single projects on iPhone or iPad with gestures … this would be really great!

I am very interested in purchasing this theme, but I have 2 questions first:

1. Does the password protected template work for uploading up to 1000 or more photos for the purpose of a client ordering prints from their wedding etc?

2. In the grid mode, is there a way to get rid of the way the thumbnails “zoom in” when hovered over? I like how they gray out, but not the zoom.
