First off, this is a great theme. It works, and super easy to modify. However, i do have a question. I would like to add my own header image. Is it possible? And how do i do that? I already created the image. I just do not know how to add it so it will show up on all the pages. Please help!!
Great theme, i like it! Ho notato che siete italiani, ma il tema non è in italiano, possibile localizzarlo? Il resto lo scrivo in inglese, può servire anche ad altri: There are some settings to display home page without a blog post? Also, how can i remove the comment area? And the comment “ribbon” in post?
I need a clean home page without the “blog” functions…. Thank for your support E grazie
Ciao e scusa il ritardo. Purtroppo per ora non è ancora possibile localizzarlo. Ci stiamo comunque lavorando. So, if you go in IvyStudio Option Panel > Homepage Setting > Display Posts in Home, and here set “No Post”. To remove the comment area, go in a single post, in admin panel, and at the bottom of page there is “Discussion” area. If you don’t have it, go at the top of page and find “Screen Option” and select “discussion”. Now at the bottom of page you have the discussion area and deselect “allow comment”. Spero di essere stato chiaro visto il discorso un pò ingarbugliato. Se non è chiaro te lo spiego in italiano
Hi,
Nice theme. Just one question, how do I widgetise this theme? When I go to widgets, it says the theme isn’t widget ready! I’ve tried installing Widget on Pages but that doesn’t work either.
Is there some code I can add to the functions.php to add a right sidebar?
I neeed to get this theme working with widgets asap, so any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Dean
mmmm..but it isn’t possible. can you tell us your website and send us admin login info to test it? thank you
Very nice theme!
I have some questions:
1. Is the theme translation-ready?
2. Is there a Google+ icon? YouTube icon?
3. Is there an archive page, or how do I display the archive?
Besides this, I would want the theme to be responsive. Preferably also a http://videofy.me/ icon.
I read somewhere among the comments that you are considering adding widgets to the footer. If so, no archive page is needed. I also read that the theme will be translation-ready in the 1.2 version of the theme.
Can you confirm the statements?
If the theme becomes responsive as well, I will make a purchase.
Hi, at the moment there are the icons that you look to the footer. If you are interest we can add other icons. For the translation, at the moment we are working on another new theme and we hope to translate the two themes at the same time.
I would like to have the ability to have Google+ and YouTube icons in the social bar instead of Facebook and Twitter. So if possible, I would like you to add that.
Good to know there is a translation on the way!
How about widgets in the footer? And responsive?
I really like the combination blog + curriculum + portfolio. So I hope it will be responsive in future versions. That would be perfection!
For the widget, all widgets work in sidebar and in footer. We set a page in the preview in Features > Widget, and all the widget that you see work also in the footer. For convenience we haven’t put the widget also in the footer.
You should show how widgets can be displayed in the preview. I have looked at the preview several times but find nothing.
Link perhaps (or a screenshot)? I fail to see how a sidebar fits but I will just have widgets in the footer.
However, reply me when version 1.2 is released. Until then I’ll fill up my PayPal account.
There aren’t all widget in the footer because, if we put all widgets in it, we created a big footer of all web site, and would not be smart. So you can see all the widgets, that you can put also in the footer, in Widget Page
One more thing. It would look better with a stylish “speech bubble” of comments link.
Hi,
Was looking at purchasing this theme but the only thing that has stopped me is the lack of support for IE9 (at least the live demo does not work anyway)
Also would it be possible to add a Google+ Social icon to the list?
I am sure these two fixes will increase sales
I look forward to your reply.
I have installed this theme onto my website but after activating it I cannot find the Ivy Studio Theme options option on the dashboard menu. Can you help? info@internetmarketinginpanama.com the website is: www.dirtysurf.net
Thanks
I wish that if a theme was no longer supported it would be removed from Themeforest so that people no longer purchase themes that do not work.
Hi there. I’d like to use your inbuild slider on other pages and not just the home page. Wondering what the shortcode is to insert? Thanks
