Hi, nice theme.
Unfortunately my supportticket havent been anserwered in 7 days. So I give it a last try in here:
I have a problem setting the blog up: In the documentation it says: “Go into Settings->Reading and change Blog pages show at most to 1”. This is impossible, as wordpress says he vlaue needs to be 1 or bigger. I think this has to do with my problem: the blog doesnt display any navigation elements, the blog page just displays the number of posts that I set up in settings->reading. No infinite scrolling, no next page navigation etc. Just this one page. Appreciate your help.
Sorry for the delay. I’ve responded to the email that you sent me.
You did, but still I haven’t received any support. This now almost takes 3 weeks and nothing has happened. I would like to get the site online. If you cant provide a fix I kindly ask for a refund.
Sorry for the delay. Was doing some testing on my version and not sure why it wasn’t working for you. Can you try setting it a high value such as 100. Let me know how that goes.
Hi, no it doesn’t go, I wont let my readers load all my posts at once on the homepage. Please look into the issue and provide a fix. Or otherwise refund. Thanks
I’m not sure I understand. The theme is designed to show everything all at once and allow users to filter to different posts. This isn’t bug.
So basically what you are saying is that the theme doesn’t support navigation – if there is no pagination it does not work with blogging. You need to tell that to your buyers before purchase.
I’ve tried multiple pagination plugins but your code doesn’t seem to work with them. Any ideas how simple pagination can be implemented? If I cant get the blog working I cant use the theme.
ok i coded my own navigation.
I think you are confusing navigation and pagination. The theme fully supports navigation and is the main feature of the theme. The demo does not include any demonstration of pagination and I have also mentioned it on multiple comments. I will make this more clear in the item description. Sorry for the confusion.
If you require further help with coding your pagination please contact me via my email and I will personally assist you further
Is there a way to include an infinite scroll?
Currently the theme doesn’t come with infinite scroll. It should be used to display everything at once as shown in the demo.
Couple of presales questions:
1. Can the font be changed throughout the site with Google Fonts?
2. Do you have example URLs from customers who have used the theme? I’d like to see what others have done outside of the Demo site.
1. Yes the font’s can be changed to Google Fonts.
2. I will need to obtain permission first from other buyers before I can show you their websites. I will get back to you on this.
Sorry, one more question:
Is there a way to see what subpage design/layouts look like before buying? The Demo site makes it appear that all subpages you reach by clicking through any post on the homepage simply take you to another page where the post is repeated at the same size and only with the exact same content as it appeared on the homepage, only with Comments added off to the right.
The theme offers more options for page layout options when you click through posts on the homepage than that, doesn’t it?
The theme is designed to show pages through the filter. When you click on one of the filters it will show a new block which would be the page.
For single posts you are right it takes you to the same post size with comments however if you want to have a larger size for the single post I can provide you with instructions for this. It would require some small code changes.
Caution: this theme doesnt support pagination. If you want to use it for blogging you either have to load all posts on your blogpage at once (!) or you will have to be able to buildt your own pagination.
Yes this is correct I did mention this in multiple comments but I will make this more clear in the item description. This theme is filter based using the navigation at the top which makes a pagination very difficult. The purpose of the theme is to display everything at once and separate it via filters so you aren’t displaying everything all at once. Hope that makes sense.
the video post format doesn’t work for me. It displays the video but not in the correct size. As the documentatio doesn’t clarify any further: could you please tell us if the video post format does only work with certain post sizes or what width and height we have to use in order to match your different post sizes?
Thanks in advance
The video should automatically resize itself depending on the post size. Can you show me a live link so I can take a look at this.
Live preview not working…
We had some hosting issues. They should be all online now.
I love the theme. It’s perfect for my use. I have one problem. Having set up as per the instructions, my posts, which used to appear in fair-sized rectangular boxes with the featured image, now show up as very small boxes with only the headline. This , of course is not so attractive to the visitor. Once the click on a post, they display beautifully.
Can you provide me with a link to your website so I can take a look at this.
Dear Author. Why has the live preview page say that the account has been suspended? I want to view the demo before I purchase. Thanks.
It should be back online shortly
Supergrid live preview is not working. It seems to be a good theme but I’d like to test it before.
Sorry about that. It should be up now.
Is it possible that if a surfer clicks on the feature image of a post to scroll through all the posts’ featured images in the lightbox? to not have to close and reopen each feature image? thanks!
Currently this isn’t possible but we will look into this for a future update.
The instruction says: “Go into Settings->Reading and change Blog pages
show at most to -1.” How can this be done? A value -1 is not possible.
If -1 doesn’t work I would recommend a high number such as “100”
