Hey, Bought and opened this theme in dreamweaver. Want to do a basic thing of getting rid of the menu apart from a blog and home page button, and swap the images out for my portfolio, although this is a lot trickier than what im used to. Any tips on where to start?

Hi,
To remove the menu items, you need to remove the <li> items.
e.g To remove ‘GRID WIDGETS’ from the menu, find this in the navigation section and remove it:
<li><a href=”#filter=.grid-widget”>GRID WIDGETS</a></li>
To change the images, you have to replace src path with the path to your image. it should look something like this
<img src=”your_image_path”/>
Let me know if this is still confusing to you. Alternatively, you can email me your images with a description and title for each image, and I will make the changes and send you the updated files.

Nice looking theme. A few dumb questions…is it possible to have “dead space” between the gridgets? Also is the size of the gridgets dictated by the content?
Do the portfolio gridgets allow for more than the feature photo?

Hi, I’m not sure what you mean by “dead space” between the gridgets. Can you explain that to me in the further detail?
Yes, the height of the gridgets are dictated by the content but you can specify your own column width for each gridget. This is very simple to do and doesn’t require any css editing.

Been playing with the template and everything is working great! I am having just one issue which I can’t seem to resolve. I know that the main menu is set up to call filtered content from within the main page. Whenever I place a menu item that directs to a separate .html page, the user has to click twice to have it load. Is there a workaround?

You might consider adding and setting the variable “disableDoubleClickZoom” in the file “maps.js” to “true.” According to the API documentation it should be enabled by default, but it still zoomed in when I double clicked the canvas in certain areas (mainly the mid to lower right of the screen..not sure why). Adding this bit seemed to resolve things. Is there a way to dynamically import posts from a blogging service such as Tumblr?

You can import posts from other blogging services by going into your dashboard Tools -> Import. There will be an option there to import from tumblr.

hi, i bought and when i open in dreamwever i cant see the home page . just a downloading image i could see. rather than any other boxes including the images. where i want to see the home page in dreamwver as shown in the live preview. how to view. i need to change some alignment in that.

The contact page calls a contact.php file. This requires the files to be loaded on a web server or on a local web server for it to work.
