Awesome theme chris, best of sales!

Amazing! I’ll certainly be a customer if my sales pick up! Good luck Chris!

I was curious, at the bottom of your Themeforest page you have testimonials from six different people. Yet, at the time of this post that I’m making, this template has only been sold one time.

What’s even worse is, two of the so called testimonials say the following:

Best theme I ever worked with. Very flexible for customization, clean code, beautiful mobile integration Seems like developer is very knowledgeble in Wordpress and theme integration. Keep up the good work. – alby1481

and

Great job. Very good markup, clean code, very well thought, this is the best theme I’ve bought so far on themeforest. – durff

Again, since the time of this comment you’ve only sold one copy of this template. Yet, two “testimonials” say that it’s “clean code”.

I was actually really interested in purchasing this theme until I found this discrepancy. My guess is that these “testimonials” are from other products you’ve created, which should not be used at testimonials for this product as they are completely miss leading.

Good looking template though. I still may purchase this if you (the author) decide to clear this little matter up. :)

Hey there,

Apologies if the testimonials were misleading, that was not my intention. You’re correct these are testimonials I’ve received from customers about my products in general. I’ve amended the title of the section to make this clear and I’ll be working towards collecting product specific testimonials to replace this section in the future.

I hope this clears the issue for you, I work hard to make my customers happy :)

Thanks

@KenH83, what happens is that he showed some testimonials from other products to pass the idea of the quality of the past themes and probably, of this new one. This would avoid new buyers of searching other in other items some testimonials about the services. :)

Amazing item buddy, do you know how to integrate with Envato API? It’s a built-in feature, or do you recommend any plugin to do it?

Regards!

ChrisMooney

Hey,

Thanks for helping clear up the issue.

To integrate the Envato API there are two plugins which I know of

https://github.com/sy4mil/Aqua-Verifier https://github.com/chrisakelley/CloudWork-Verifi

I haven’t tested these personally, I’ve just had them in mind for when I revamp my support forum.

Do let me know how you get on with them :)

Thanks

Hello Chris. What a fantastic theme huh? A while ago I bought the “KnowHow” I ended up not using it even if I knew this new release, would have waited to buy it. :(: (: :( Congratulations and good sales!

@KenH83, ChrisMooney is a respected, elite author, and I don’t think any harm was meant by the testimonials. As @XiaoThemes said, the testimonials were composites from his themes in general.

ChrisMooney

Thanks for helping explain the issue. I really appreciate it :)

Great theme! Any chance of adding a styled responsive menu instead of using the ugly “default” OS menu in mobile view?

Thanks,

Mark

ChrisMooney

Hey Mark,

I’ve had this in mind for some time. I’ll get this on the list for the next version.

Thanks

Nice looking theme!

If you add in support for the Envato API to check if someone signing up is one of your buyers = win.

WPExplorer

Oh for sure for BBPress. I mean if you want to hide the knowledge-base as well.

ChrisMooney

Ah true. It would be pretty easy to add a conditional to only show KB articles to logged in users, but having this baked in might be a good ideas ;)

Very nice looking theme. I am loving the design.

Good luck with sales, Chris.

+1 for the Envato API integration. This looks great.. Definitely making me think about our current solution! :D

Exactly Chris, integrate it with Envato API and you’ll buy it :)

Interesting! Seriously :)

Any plans for Envato API to verify each items?(like Author HQ plugin?)

Hi there,

Great looking theme! One pre-sales question—does this theme also make provision for categories and sub-categories as with the know-how theme?

Regards

Francois Wessels

ChrisMooney

Hey Francois,

You can use multiple categories and subcategories. On the demo checkout the Customization section: http://themes.swishthemes.com/supportdesk/news/section/customization/

Sub categories are shown above, any articles in the base category shown below. The theme works with any number of nested categories.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks

Great work! +1 for the Envato API integration. 8-)

Checkout my reply to @GoodLayers @WPExplorer, there are two plugins which will work.

Your theme is very cool :) Like others said Envato API integration would be great. I think about purchase.

Very cool stuff, am actually thinking of buying this.

Awesome theme! Good luck with sales.

Also +1 for the Envato API integration for item verification.

Guys, there’s already a seperate plugin (only for 13$) on CodeCanyon to verify the purchases on bbPress forums! :)

@Chris, great theme. Definately worth the money.

Tom

ChrisMooney

Thanks Tom :)

Here’s another thought…the problem with a KB theme like this is that we end up with two separate sites (main site + knowledgebase), so there is work involved in making the two of them look like a matched set.

An ideal solution might be if the same theme could be used for both…e.g., use one theme/one site, but have a knowledgebase section as part of it.

This theme is certainly attractive enough for an approach like this, although it’s missing some of the “general” site features like a home page slider, etc. (That’s not a criticism…I know this theme is not intended to have features like that.)

So, as a future suggestion, it might be great to add “general” theme features to create a theme that could power a whole site including a great KB.

Just a thought…this beautiful theme got me thinking…

Hey Mark,

I understand where you’re coming from. What you’re perhaps looking for is a Knowledge Base plugin to extend your main site.

This theme is a support center intended to be an alternative to externally hosted SAAS services. So instead of paying a monthly subscription using an SAAS helpdesk, you can quickly setup and manage your own support center.

Thanks

Default-user

Good point. This theme is certainly a good alternative to Zendesk or other paid service. But if we could have it all in one site… ;-)
