One issue though – on “IE9”, the logo seems is centering in the header, had to add the following code to the Stylesheet (style.css):

The original is first, the edited (working) is second:

Hi there, I found this: “The footer widget area is currently set to: Three Columns. To change it go to the theme options panel.” in the footer widget area, however I can’t find the setting to change this in the theme options panel. Did I miss something?

This isn’t possible on the front-end. You would need to give the user author permissions so they can manage the knowledge base in the WP admin panel.

PreSale question:

Is it possible to have tickets generate via email as well? IE -> someone emails help@site.com and using IMAP or POP it retrieves the email and generates a ticket within the system?

I tried to edit the background of the ‘title’ div on each page (where the search bar is also located for the knowledge base, for example), but I only managed to edit it so it works on the homepage. Where should I edit the CSS file to properly edit the background?

I used the following code: .page-template-template-front-page-php #page-header { text-align:center; color:#fff; background-image:url('images/header.png'); background-size: 100% 100%; background-size: cover; }

A working example of the homepage can be seen on www.ceathiel.com, but it only works on the homepage, not on other pages.

Dear Chris,

I am interested about buying either SupportDesk or KnowHow.

I have two questions:

1) How to choose between the two? Functionally what’s the difference?

2) My company has 3 different products, and I would like to manage in a single installation all the products. Every product can have different categories. For example:

product1/installation product1/filters product1/tutorials

product2/common issues product2/usage product2/videos

There may be a main support page (http://support.company.com) and two products homepage (http://support.company.com/product1 and http://support.company.com/product2).

Can this be accomplished with your tool?

1. Support Desk has a separate news and more advanced FAQ sections. KnowHow is a knowledge base only with a simpler FAQ section.

2. You can use multiple levels of knowledge base categories to achieve this on a single installation. Your URLS won’t be exactly as you’ve posted.

Hi, I realise from other comments that this theme supports WPML for blog and page items. However reading through I see that supportdesk defines kb and FAQ items separately to blog/pages items.

Therefore, can you confirm that supportdesk supports a multi language kb (and FAQ) via WMPL, and that kb articles and FAQs are supported with WPML the same way which pages/posts are handled (i.e. you create a base language kb article, then translate it via WPML to other languages – i.e. the post-id stays the same). Hope that makes sense, and thanks for your answer.

I am facing lots of issue with your Knowledge Base area! when i try to add more than 10 records, on my Knowledge Base area i got tons of issue;

1. My preview does not work, (some times it does but my design messed up don’t know why???)

2. Add image does not display at all, although all links are correct.

3. It gives me frequently error: “An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.”

4. When i view my log file it shows:

PHP Warning: array_pop() [function.array-pop]: The argument should be an array in /*//wp-content/themes/supportdesk/framework/template-navigation.php on line 154

Is there any way to resolve this all issue.
